This is just so breathtaking and unexpected to see these two lovely boys who look like they just came in from surfing the waves in Malibu to sitting at the piano playing one of our favorite Bach pieces like we’ve never heard it played before. Bravo‼️

I always catch myself smiling whenever I see or hear these two perform. The piece comes from within, transmitted to their fingers, evokes emotion reaching the soul. Their Bach album does that. I would love to watch them in person someday.

Je suis bouleversé par la beauté du jeu de ces deux grands pianistes vraiment bouleversé par le fait qu'il joue osmose total et là il n'y a plus qu'une seule âme mais pas de, les deux âmes se réunissent en une seule et convergent vers le transcendant je suis absolument ému par ce travail sur bac que j'aime tant car bac est un génie absolu et là avec leur sensibilité leur jeu totalement maîtriser au plus haut niveau il transcende la musique, je l'avoue j'ai tellement été ému que j'en ai pleuré car j'ai senti le génie de Bach et à quel point celui-ci exprime vraiment fortement l'infiniment beau de Dieu et là tous les deux ensemble c'est hallucinant puissance d'expression oui j'en ai pleuré très fort car j'adore bac à la folie je m'aperçois que c'est 2 musiciens prime à merveille mais que dis-je tous les deux lorsqu'il joue il se produit un phénomène où cette musique monte vers Dieu et là il se passe quelque chose de magique et de très spirituel j'aimerais avoir un contact je voudrais aider à leur promotion surtout en France où je suis experte en communication moi-même pianiste un niveau très inférieur car mon ressenti est qu'ils ont touché des sommets et ça je voudrais le faire connaître en France et ailleurs mais comment font-ils leur talent ne s'additionnent pas se multiplient à un point incroyable vraiment de très grands artistes du piano ils ont la posture de maître et ils sont inspirés par une force où la musique n'est que lumière énergie et amour je voudrais aider à leur promotion en France pour moi c'est 2 pianistes sont un phénomène de très haut niveau musical d'émotion et de spiritualité je voudrais les rencontrer ce que j'ai ressenti sur leurs interprétations qui me bouleverse au plus haut niveau et je vous demande de me contacter pour cela au 07 61 57 59 75 et voici mon mail mail fil du en un seul mot@hotmail.fr il joue comme des dieux l'un comme l'autre et ne font qu'un à mes yeux et avec eux on rejoint l'unité et ça c'est prodigieux❤❤❤❤😢❤❤😂❤❤❤ Philippe Dubois de quand en Normandie et je suis prêt à composer pour eux Philippe Dubois

They are in total musical union with each other. It's as if all four hands are outpourings of one single Mind.
The ensemble playing is beyond spectacular. When the Paratore-brothers became famous in the 80s I thought: How can they play together so well? But the Jussens outclass them BY FAR!

I sensed that both were singing inside their heads while playing that. It does actually help a lot when playing the piano to sing inside...it makes the playing more expressive. I learnt about this when watching a piano masterclass with Arthur Rubinstein. We have another Arthur or Artur here who, with his brother Lucas, will make Rubinstein proud :)

Was für ein diszipliniertes Publikum: es klatscht wirklich erst nach dem allerletzten Hall und zerstört nicht die kurze heilige Stille nach einer so göttlich vorgetragenen Musik.

Yes, this is a wonderful sophistication--wrapping a diamond performance in gold.
Ja, das ist typisch Publikum im Amsterdamer Concertgebouw: die sind super interessierte und konzentrierte Musikliebhaber, für mich das beste Konzertpublikum, das ich kenne. Die klatschen immer erst, wenn sich die Magie der Musik verflüchtigt. Dann aber ist oft kein Halten mehr! Und man kommt ganz oft mit den Sitznachbarn ins Gespräch über die Musik, die man grade gehört hat.
Ahhhh! When they started playing, and I realized what the piece was, it was like sinking into a warm bath! The layers and gradations in their voicing of chords are astonishing -- it's like they're *painting* the music, with an infinite variety of shades and tints of every colour. And the intentions of the two players are so completely melded that it's as if one mind was controlling all 20 fingers! ...Now having said all that, I'm afraid I am going to introduce a note of something other than pure delight here, by asking who the arranger is, and is this the best arrangement of the piece that could be found? I find there's too much tinkling in the extreme treble; the upper octaves drop in and out quite randomly at times; and the way some of the harmonies in thirds invert themselves in mid-stream is most disconcerting!
The brothers show their mastery of legato and piano. And they've chosen a wonderful piece to showcase them. (I love the Hunt Cantata.)
