@@paulettesalomon2520 normal is a relative term. Do i think it's proper or appropriate? Not at all. But it happens more commonly than people think. The circumstances around my mother's adoption are very vague and sketchy but the official records are sealed and she's not interested in paying to get them unsealed. Her biological mother is a real piece of work too.

I hope you know it’s foolish to ignore that many people are on disability who should not be. She’s pretty well put together for somebody struggling so much she doesn’t have to pay any of her own rent and she gets disability on top. My son was diagnosed with bi-polar schizo effective at 17. He was on disability for 3 years and then a judge deemed him "cured" because he hadn't been Baker acted in a year. They finally found the right medication and dosage that worked but without disability he couldn't afford it. I despise people who get away with receiving it that aren't really disabled. Sorry just makes me so 😡

I do agree; It took myself, and my niece who’s kids are on the spectrum, and my daughter who has heart disease, bone disease, and mental problems and it took forever for my son, and my great niece to get help, and we, are still working on my daughter it seems. Even my brother who was shot, and his blind in one eye, has no spline and mentally disabled, and still having issues getting disability also, but; I am always on here seeing people that seems to me who can work always on disability. America is backwards.

Also being middle aged, one is NOT allowed to be more than forty years older than an infant for adoption.

i'm not gullible enough to believe every person on disability is struck by major illness. I look at info and evidences I have, and I see that a person is partying and abandoning her responsibilities that alone speaks volume about their character and it'd be no surprise that sense of entitlement and disregard spills over in other areas of life and quite easily come over any conscientious concerns and lead to nefarious engagements such as disability fraud.

This is crazy!! I wish the government would make these deadbeat irresponsible so-called parents pay restitution for child abandoned and that money should go into a fund for the child . So the child doesn’t go into poverty as an adult.
When someone says “I don’t work. I receive disability.” rather than “I don’t work because I’m unable to.”, I find it hard to take seriously. Receiving disability isn’t a reason not to work; it’s a solution too being unable to do so.
