I just received my LP-100 on 01/13/2020, and I got say this is one of the best wattmeters I have ever used.
Yes that is a fantastic unit!
I have the LP100A and I agree with this video. It is one of the best meters you can have and is very very accurate. I love seeing that my power out and SWR is within what it should be. It is one meter that can do almost all. It is pricey but well worth the money. Looking forward to getting the N8LP LPPAN2 and using it with my Kenwood TS830. It will bring my hyrbrid into the modern world.

My opinion is that you talk too much about things that are self evident, or unimportant, rather than getting to the point. all u have to do to find the sign of the reactance is to tune up the band or down, if the reactance is inductive, the value will increase as frequency is increased

One of life's great joys for me is opening a box containing new stuff. For me, it can only be beaten by opening boxes contain unknown items sent by another person. Probably a hangover from when I was a child at Christmas.

Throw those analog meters in the trash or give them to a CBer. I have a friend who has the LP-100A and I drool over the prospects of owning one. Excellent software and well built.I am extremely impressed with this review.I really like my 801HP3 , but after this video I see the shortcomings of an analog meter. Thanks for a very thorough and insightful video!! More hams need to watch the TRX videos
Satellite_Guy Hi, I did know that there are problems with this analogue meters, but that the tolerance is that huge is really embarrassing. The manufactures should not call them PEP meters. Hope you will receive your LP-100A soon. Thanks for your comment :-) 73's

I recently purchased this meter for my ham shack. I use it before my antenna tuner, and when I use my tuner I can get the swr down to zero according to the meter in the tuner, but I can tune down much farther if I watch the LP100a as it is that more sensitive, and accurate. Not cheap for sure, but well worth the cost to me. AJ6O

Great discussion on a most interesting product. I have one question, they offer an option Dual Coupler. What would be the purpose of this second input? They also show an antenna pattern graph. How can you create a graph 0-360 degrees with only one fixed input/location.

I don't understand the purpose of this expensive meter? All you ever use it for is a common wattmeter, couldn't you use a cheaper one for that instead?
I love mine, got it almost new for $400 and a few dollars for shipping.. Anything else other than this is rubbish, if you want to have a calibrated meter this is the one de Ei2iP
