Without Trump's first term, China would not have been able to achieve firm industrial upgrading. Previously, China would have purchased high-tech products from the United States. Now, China sees the opportunities brought by its own industrial upgrading. Trump's second term is about to begin, and I think more interesting things may happen.
Chinese call Trump "建国" which gives him the title as "nation builder" where the nation being built up is China. They love him and his policies, because he united the various industrialists and provincial leaders to finally work wholly on domestic independence.
Thanks Cyrus for your efforts to convey an accurate description of today's China. I'm an ABC and semi-retired MD who has been to time innumerable times to China over the last 40 years. Most recently been to China 3x in the last year and can personally attest to the phenomenal changes and the overall satisfaction among friends and relatives about the situation in China. I understand and speak Mandarin which gives me a good understanding in the field. The economy has hit a downturn; however, the gov't is taking measures to assist it. It is NOT the dystopic Orwellian nightmare as portrayed by the Western media narrative. I will be in Chengdu in March with my 88 y/o mother, brother and sister-in-law to seek out ancestral sites, previously difficult to access but today with high speed rail a breeze!
China's great advantage is the government's ability to INTERVENE into the economy. There is no country able to weather economic problems like China because the government can act in the interest of the nation as a whole. No country in the West can do this because in the West its the wealthy capitalist class whose interests are first and the economy and people will be sacrificed for their interests.

I have mainland Chinese students completely duplicitous in terms of when they are in Singapore or Malaysia and when they're back in China. It comes down to something very simple in the end. Why are people afraid of the truth? Censorship is one way to hide from revealing things we don't want to reveal. So the bottom line question is can you trust a country which censors so excessively as China? What have they got to hide? If you hide information and control information that means you cannot ascend to higher levels of human development which desires freedom to question, critically as well as to innovate from diversity. America de-industrialized the country since the last 80's...there are no skillful technicians/ workers now. How can America bring the manufacturing back??
American can just move production in a less hostile country without fear of technology theft, and hostile trade practices. ASEAN countries are ripe and just waiting & welcoming especially the Philippines.
@RolandoBarangan-e3k Move production to ASEAN? Do merikans even know China is now the top trading partner of ASEAN and all members of Asean signed RCEP(a regional FTA like NAFTA) with China and already integrated themselves into Chinas global supply chains? Even If merikans manage to move all productions to Asean, these countries still needs to import all kinds of critical materials, machines and equipments frm China to assembly and produce the final products due to their extremely close trading connection and high dependence on China. Let alone Asean is actually in the backyard of China frm a geographical standpoint, merikas effort to move production within Chinese sphere of military influence is literally a laughable joke. Imagine China cuts off all necessary supply to Asean countries to produce merikans goods during wartime, who u gonna ask for help to replace Asean then? This the biggest tragedy of a highly de-industrialized economy like US, u guys always need to count on others(be it China, Asean, or even India)but yourself lol.

8:00 Chinese has been a trading nation for thousands of years. All merchants have the simple concept.. if you customers getting richer and richer, they'll buy more and more from you. China is still a developing country, so they fully understand the benefits of having such infrastructure for the African countries in order to get off from the bottom and climb the wealth ladder. This is a long term view to grow your customers, which the US and the west lack.
BRICS's diversity...... A great example of how diversity is NOT a barrier to successful cooperation and mutual economic advancement is the shining case of ASEAN. It's a region of high diversity and yet it's prospering in peace since its inception.

I'm pretty sure Uigurs have an opposing view of good governance. Besides that China can respond quicker, the controlling party in China has to look inward security wise more than USA does. F.A.A.F.O. US Citizens if threatened will stand without need of political police.

Imposing tariffs and levying taxes are two completely different concepts. The former is paid by the product buyers, while the latter is paid by the product manufacturers and sellers. Therefore, retailers only care about making the maximum profit; they need high-quality and low-cost goods, and Chinese manufacturing still holds an advantageous position, thanks to their comprehensive supply chain. They can supply their products to retailers at unchanged prices, who then add a 60% markup to sell to the end users. So, isn't it clear who is really paying for Trump's tariffs?
as a matter of fact, i didnt even know china and saudi arabia are now selling the dollar bond world wide now i came across a chinese tiktoker........ and that is more than what many can comprehend
It is actually relative. Certainly, the Chinese respect Trump MORE THAN they respect Biden. Trump at least is not two-faced when it comes to agreements . Trump will formally withdraw or tear up any agreement if he has no intention of adhering to it. Unlike Blinken, under Biden, where Biden will say one thing but the State Department will be doing the total opposite.
Trump’s maga crowd will never question Trump, they still believe Trump made Mexico pay for the wall and China paid for the tariffs. Trump is going to back stab Asia including Taiwan and contribute to US’ reputation especially in Asia
@@JD-yz4kr True, the hypocrisy, and double standards of the US are well known by now outside of the western propaganda bubble. trump is too crude to care about the subtlety of saying one thing and doing another, though not for the lack of attempt. While this video is commendable, Cyrus views are too simplified. If only politics is so straight forward and simple. It is not. Also as much as I would like to assume China is apolitical about helping Africa in terms of nationhood building, they got something they want in return. It's only business, no ? There's a lot of injustice within China too - it does not mean that if you don't witness it, it does not exists. Often when there is a property crisis in any country, for accountability sake, it is always the incumbent govt that has failed its citizens, to safeguard their interests by putting a proper structure in place to dampen speculation, manage credit extension etc... That means having experienced and qualified minister for the job. Are we certain that all politicians (globally in every country) are 100% talented and qualified ? We only need to look internally at our own ruling govt to know who is competent and who is not right !
The problem is and what you don’t mention is people in the USA are charged what they can pay. You can make that cup for $1 in China and $4 in the USA. However, Walmart will still charge $25 for the cup. It helps the share holders more than the consumer in the long run. One day, we will not have jobs at all. Then we can’t buy the cup at all.
One thing people forget is that once that Chinese made cup costs 40$, domestic manufacturers will raise their prices to match and even increase that, based on the fact that it's a US made product. Also items that are not imported from China will also see an increase. So US consumers can expect a roughly 60% inflation across the market in the next year or two. that's nothing to be excited about.
You're just scaring yourself ijiot. Companies can opt out of tariffed countries as simple as that. If Trump managed to get manufacturing back in the US, that would give its citizen more buying power that it offsets global inflation. Local manufacturing also results to surplus and surplus results to price reduction. The reason why China was able to raise its prices in the Western world is they put surplus in other countries like SEA or Africa.
@@jonconnor0729 I think what people shouldn't do is underestimating the greed of corporations - Say a China-made cup is $20 while a US-made cup is $30. With 100% tariffs, people expect the China-made cup to be $40 and citizens now go for the US-made $30 cup. But what's stopping the US manufacturer from raising it's price to $38? You're now gonna buy the US-made cup because it's cheaper than the China-made cup, but if you look the big picture you're paying $18 more than the price you could have gotten it pre-tariffs.
The concept is a noble one provided the chain of countries along the route is able to participate in it with their own monies. When they could not, China offered to extend credit to help the country that could not afford it BUT with conditions of course. In the process, the poor country get "poorer" in the process and becomes in debted. This massive project came at a time when China was prosperous. Now that it is in dire strait economically at home, the project will be delayed indefinitely... In summary, the visionary project is a difficult one to bring to fruition.
As a Taiwanese, just my opinion, D.T. is just most inappropriate person to be put in that position. Yet, it happens again, he won't make US great again, or US influence more positive in a way among international society. As for manufacturing business, this field would be the victims of his "tough policy", because every state has its own main industries and economic problems, in combining whole US, that's the most priority problem he should start to deal with economic policies, employment, salary, and so on. And taking chip manufacturing business for example, US ditched that many decades ago, and Taiwan developed our own tech industry from that moment on base on tech parts assembly industry, and now D.T. said we steal that away from US???!!?! I mean, dancing around with insane person is not a thing we Taiwanese like, but this is reality at the moment we have to face (we also have our own problems among ourselves) let's just hope that everything is ok in the near future
Those two sell-outs more than likely are on the NEDs Taiwan for Democracy payroll. After leaving China, their videos have been endless propaganda bs. And who do you think are supplying them with footage?. In an honest debate, they would be debunked on everything.
Thinking back now, I don’t understand why the US didn’t take a bigger interest in South America. Now I feel like China has made some major in roads. I guess most American companies were afraid of the government instability while China will deal with just about anyone and is in it for the long haul and not just for the quick buck.
if hes going to be honest , which means USA will cut all the budgets from the other part of the world especially military and going towards rebuild of usa economy during his reign. lower global influences but better economy
Trump tried to do everything he campaigned on last time around His advisors and cabinet appointments all seem to share that tear down America to make things better outlook
I doubt he will use the tariff trick again. He has learned his lesson. My guess is, the tariff was never his idea to begin with. **TheDeepState** made him it. This time around, he will fly to China immediately and chummy up with Xi. Like in 2008, China is his only salvation.
What I'm curious is, even if you bring back manufacturing to US, who is going to do the job for the reindustrialization? Let's say like the fastfood worker, worker wants $25 an hour. probably most of the workload goes to machines, and have few peoples employed for the whole factory. With the tariff, let's say you end up with china made goods for $5, and US made goods for $7. but still outside USA, it'll still be $1. And because you can't export those goods because you can't compete in price in the global market, the market will be smaller, so you can't scale it up as much. Then because the stuff made in US is so expensive (small market, expensive cost), the worker scream even more that they can't buy anything. So they demand $30 an hour. gen z worker "I deserve everything" + dudebro MBA "cut cost everything" + shareholder "infinite growth". Probably end up with very expensive yet low quality products.
Manufacturing will never return to the US because the mentality of US workers are realy backwards. Take the Boeing labour strike. The union actually wanted pension for every worker. In this modern world, where can you still find jobs with pension ? From a welfare perspective, it is fabulous. But the real working world is such a different place now (like it or not). It goes to show how 'backwards' the US really is. Eventually the new contract meted out is increase in pay over 3 years, and the pension was dropped.
Sorry to say this but with decoupling with China u can see shift and dollar gonna loose his value.if us not doing business then other countries will do with there own currency so how gonna dollar maintain that value if transaction gonna shift in local currency.
It is time for the US leaders to start looking from the inside and learn from their mistakes, and learn from the China. Keeps looking outside and trying to contain other countries that's like when a student got a bad grade and then blamed the teacher. 😊
Other points including : vast improvement its infrastructure, EV-public transportation, EV manufacturing, space exploration and space technology, military hardware development and technology development….etc. which dare I say surpassed western countries such as the United States 🇺🇸, Britain 🇬🇧, and other nations, but correct me if I am wrong….

For sure, Europe is not keen to have to put up with his nonsense.. Can't wait to read Germany ex-Chancellor Angela Merkel autobiography....
Of course China is going to be hurt by the tariffs. Because when the price of goods in the USA goes up, due to the tariffs, the demand will go down. Ask the UK about it. English industry moved to Europe to avoid paying tariffs in the EU, and being priced out of the market.
The world has 8bil people. The US is only 330mil. Find out what % of export to US is of China's gross export. Besides, it can always have FDI with other countries to export globally. U can't stop importing their products coming in.

As a Chinese, I’m sorry but Cyrus is extremely wrong on why the Chinese people prefer Trump. Maybe he’s trying to be diplomatic, maybe he’s trying to polite, I don’t know, but as a Chinese observer who has spent time in China, I cannot believe he genuinely got this wrong. There are 2 fundamental reasons why the Chinese prefer Trump (and to so far as call him a “founding father” - ironically of course): 1) Trump is a business man. The Chinese believes they can strike a deal with him on a personal level, instead of the national level, which means the deals can be separate from each country’s identity and beliefs. 2) Trump will erode America’s position of global leadership. The less the rest of the world (especially Europe and Australia) can be counted on by America to be a part of an international coalition, the more space China has to maneuver on the global stage. Medium and smaller countries will also naturally gravitate to China, given the stability and predictability of the government and system. This has already been demonstrated during Trump’s first term.

This is an interesting perspective. I think there is some truth in what you are saying: the US consumer is asked to pay the upper limit of what he is willing to pay already
You are just making up the hypothesis. If you believe Walmart charges $25 for a $1 cup, you can establish a company to import those $1 cups and sell them at $20. You would make a big fortune by doing that. If your claim is true, all I can see is opportunities in the market. Present your evidences instead of whining.
@demidollar840 i see what your saying here dude: that's the way economics is supposed to work but the working man/woman doesn't go down to Chinatown and buy a $5 cup he goes to Walmart pays $25 and rationalises it by thinking 'it's going to save me time and money shopping once a week in the same place' meanwhile Walmart still only pays $1 or $1.60 with tariff for the cup and pays there workers so poorly that many municipalies have to subsidise them just to go to work. The Walmart execs and shareholders get rich and still buy nice imported things because Americans don't make them
@@cslewiswardrobemalfunction6758 I am saying you could open a store at the next door of Walmart and make a ton of money. If that story was true, you can definitely do that. My question is: are there any evidences supporting the claims? You are just making more assumptions based on the original hypothesis. Are there any evidences like marketing research or statistical reports?

Protectionist policy "can" work if you keep it short and kick your own industry to wake them up from complacency and becoming competitive once again. But based on how the US automotive industry has been doing for the last decade, I just don't see that happening across the industry in the States.
@4:56; if you're saying that Trump is saying these things about China to win votes, isn't that playing politics??(saying whatever you got to just to win including lies he's told?) The business people are the ones tearing up America, and the people let one become President again. As much as some want to keep saying he's not a politician, he's been playing politics from the 1st time he ran for office. He's a business and a politician now, and everyone needs to accept that (He's not your average politician though). He has donors now like Elon Musk and playing the same games other politicians play including telling his base what they want to hear.
Completely disagree that 'he's gotta say it cuz that's what the people want to hear'. Isn't it his job to help shape public opinion? Instead, he reinforces stereotypes and deepens hatred. Let's not laugh about that.
policy change is something that China does albeit at times quite slowly but too often in Europe and the USA policies seem more entrenched whilst ruling governments change. I suppose it is a case of no one really wanting to rock the boat in what we often describe as democratic process. On a personal note I feel that the live and let live would go a lot more towards peaceful resolutions than the idea of there are winners and losers. I feel that too often the term winner is so short term as by winning they may well have reduced a market of opportunity that would have had a far better long term benefit.

Tariffs remove the price advantage of Chinese products. Yes, the consumer does pay, and it is up to the consumer to decide what they want to buy. If the tariffs increase the final price of a product, and puts it on par with American or European products, the consumer can choose which one to buy. Tariffs allow a level playing field for American products compared to Chinese products.
If tariffs are only raised on China, Chinese industries will be transferred to other countries before entering the United States, and the United States will not be able to increase its manufacturing industry. If tariffs were raised on all countries, the United States would become a self-sufficient country, just like India in the 1950s, where they were not allowed to import cars. So, what do you think of India's automotive industry until now?
@@zuiwoshachang This is certain because goods have to pass through a third country, so tariffs are not good for American consumers and Chinese producers, and only benefit third countries. However, the United States seems to be suppressing China, so it doesn't care about consumers' feelings.
@@zuiwoshachang I would say that the "minimum price" of Chinese goods were artificially low to compete against other countries' products, and that advantage is what the tariffs are trying to take away. There are other ways the US can try to lower consumer prices, and one of them is to make fuel prices go down, which will lower transportation costs, which will incrementally lower cost of goods at the consumer level.

Imposing tariffs and levying taxes are two completely different concepts. The former is paid by the product buyers, while the latter is paid by the product manufacturers and sellers. Therefore, retailers only care about making the maximum profit; they need high-quality and low-cost goods, and Chinese manufacturing still holds an advantageous position, thanks to their comprehensive supply chain. They can supply their products to retailers at unchanged prices, who then add a 60% markup to sell to the end users. So, isn't it clear who is really paying for Trump's tariffs?

yes, I sure wouldn't use the word "respect" and Trump in the same sentence.

@@zuiwoshachang Your theory only exists only if the US can produce that "cup".
One of many China’s 🇨🇳 economic power is the Belt and Road Initiative doing business with its allies.
Its falling apart , literally
The concept is a noble one provided the chain of countries along the route is able to participate in it with their own monies. When they could not, China offered to extend credit to help the country that could not afford it BUT with conditions of course. In the process, the poor country get "poorer" in the process and becomes in debted. This massive project came at a time when China was prosperous. Now that it is in dire strait economically at home, the project will be delayed indefinitely... In summary, the visionary project is a difficult one to bring to fruition.

Of course China is going to be hurt by the tariffs. Because when the price of goods in the USA goes up, due to the tariffs, the demand will go down. Ask the UK about it. English industry moved to Europe to avoid paying tariffs in the EU, and being priced out of the market.
But China will concentrate more on selling to other markets. USA is not centre of the the earth.
@ that only works if there is a demand in that markets.

There are 2 fundamental reasons why the Chinese prefer Trump (and to so far as call him a “founding father” - ironically of course):
1) Trump is a business man.
This has already been demonstrated during Trump’s first term.
you "believe" genuinely he got this wrong* [*not ... do not believe he genuinely got wrong] ..... because by saying that ur agreeing with him, lol

You are an owner that likes a bigger profit at the expense of your own country.
Trade deficit says a lot .
Where as the average Filipino does not know the history of their own country , competing claims with China and competing claims they have with other countries.

👇
Timeline of the South China Sea dispute
* It has been claimed by the People's Republic of China on the argument that since 200 BCE Chinese fishermen have used the Spratly islands
* Naval forces of the Liu Song dynasty (420-479 CE) patrolled the Paracel and Spratly islands.[5] In the Tang dynasty (618-907 CE), the islands were placed under the administration and authority of the Qiongzhou Prefecture (now Hainan Province).[5] The Chinese administration of the South China Sea continued into the Song dynasty (960-1279 CE).[5]
* Archaeologists have found Chinese made potteries porcelains and other historical relics from the Southern dynasties (420-589 CE), the Sui dynasty (581-619 CE), the Tang dynasty, the Song dynasty, the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368 CE), the Ming dynasty (1368-1644 CE) and later eras up to modern times on the South China Sea islands.[5]
1876 - China makes its earliest documented claim to the Paracel Islands[citation needed]
1883 - When the Spratlys and Paracels were surveyed by Germany in 1883, China issued protests.
1887 - In the 19th century, Europeans found that Chinese fishermen from Hainan annually visited the Spratly islands for part of the year, while in 1877 it was the British who launched the first modern legal claims to the Spratlys
1902 - China sends naval forces on inspection tours of the Paracel Islands to preempt French claims.[28] Scholar François-Xavier Bonnet argued that per Chinese records, these expeditions never occurred and were backdated during the 1970s.[29][30]
1907 - China sends another naval force, this time to plan for resource exploitation.[28]
1911 - The newly formed Republic of China, successor state to the Qing dynasty, moves administration of the Paracel Islands to Hainan,[28] which would not become a separate Chinese province until 1988.
1946 - The R.O.C. established garrisons on both Woody (now Yongxing / 永兴) Island in the Paracels and Taiping Island in the Spratlys. France protested. The French tried but failed to dislodge Chinese nationalist troops from Yongxing Island/Woody Island (the only habitable island in the Paracels), but were able to establish a small camp on Pattle (now Shanhu / 珊瑚) Island in the southwestern part of the archipelago.[37][38][39]
The Republic of China drew up The Southern China Sea Islands Location Map, marking the national boundaries in the sea with 11 lines, two of which were later removed, showing the U-shaped claim on the entire South China Sea, and showing the Spratly and Paracels in Chinese territory, in 1947.[28]
The Americans reminded the Philippines at its independence in 1946 that the Spratlys was not Philippine territory, both to not anger Chiang Kai-shek in China and because the Spratlys were not part of the Philippines per the 1898 treaty Spain signed with America.[38]
1950 - After the Chinese nationalists were driven from Hainan by the People's Liberation Army (PLA), they withdrew their garrisons in both the Paracels and Spratlys to Taiwan.
1969 - A UN sponsored research team discovers oil under the sea floor of the island group.
1970 - China occupies Amphitrite Group of the Paracel Islands
* In 1596, the Spanish Colonial Government declared that each island in the Kalayaan Islands, now known as the Spratly Islands, had Barangay or Barrio status.
1971 - Philippines announces claim to islands adjacent to its territory in the Spratlys, which they named Kalayaan, which was formally incorporated into Palawan Province in 1972. The Philippines President Marcos announced the claims after Taiwanese troops attacked and shot at a Philippine fishing boat on Itu Aba.[

geee, this guy really knows Chinese.
It does hurt China, if a product is deemed expensive..consumer will not buy period, that means less orders, less sales, less jobs for the Chinese. The Chinese can move their manufacturing to low cost county or countries..it’s a cost to them.
This is 2020s, not 1920s. China does not rely on NorthAm 360mil to market its products. Ther r 8bil ppl on earth today, 1.4bil of those are in China.
Yeah, then most average American will found out that they no longer able to sustain their current lifestyle, while China will continue to pour invest and compete in any country outside America market. Then someday, US companies in China that enjoying 1.4 billion market with the world's largest middle income segment will be kicked out from China, then struggle to compete China's product in 3rd world countries which contribute at least 7-80% of total human population
I guessed you did not know that when China exports quota to US hit the limits, they set up clothing manufacturing base in Cambodia and export from Cambodia that has a larger export quota to US. Things are more complicated in the real world...

Seeing is believing, Cyrus is very wise.
very funny.
Is there anyone buying 365 cups for personal use per year? Do u buy washing machine, aircon every other day? Ask yourself
What would be your metric then?
@cslewiswardrobemalfunction6758 Tariffs indeed to US advantage, impact is severely on China
Another option, just don’t buy the mug.
I AGREE WITH LIKING TRUMP. BUT, YES I TOO LIVED IN CHINA SEVERAL YEARS BUT I SEE IT AS PEOPLE IN USA WILL NOT PAY THE PRICE FOR A VEHICLE OF LESS QUALITY AT THE SAME PRICE WOULD YOU BUY A BYD INSTEAD OF A TOYOTA OF SIIMILIAR STYLE AT SAME PRICE , NOT ME, USUALLY CHINESE PRODUCTS FOR THE MOST PART ARE NOT VERY GOOD, BUT THEY DO MAKE SOME GOOD THINGS, BUT MOST WILL PREFER HYNDAI OR TOYOTA THEN CHINESE BRANDS.
They obviously have never tried driving a BYD. They are not of a lower quality, quite the opposite.
@@Firecrackersylv WHILE I AGREE TO AN EXTENT I OWN A BYD SEALION AND HAVE HAD 3 PROBLEMS IN1 YEAR WITH IT SO FAR, ITS A GOOD MID LINE CAR THE ROUGH RIDE AND ADAS SYSTEM IS A PROBLEM AFTER I SET THE SETTINGS ON MY CAR WHEN I TURN IT OFF THE SETTING REVERSE BACK TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS, THE CAR IS SIMILIAR TO A TOYOTA COROLLA HYBRID WHICH MINE IS. I LIKE IT BUT I AM FINDING OUT NEW THINGS EVERY MONTH ON THIS MID LINE 30K CAR. THIS IS MY OPININ AND MY FINDINGS ON MY NEW CAR.
Why don't he mention its a negotiation tactic. So world can tariff us and its fine.
The process of making things right, always have cost. Cost is just a short term thingy. After correcting, process of winning is automatic...
Cyrus never thought that maybe industries will move ?Lol genius
Let’s see when that will happen😂. China has the historical high exports data and trading surplus, so I guess that wishful thinking doesn’t work well for the last 8 years
I literally watched for little more than a minute before my BS Detector started screaming.
I'm reminded of the truism, "Captains should study tactics, but Generals must study logistics.".
I recommend the Michael Beckley video from the American Enterprise Institute from 2 weeks ago for a fundamental view of China's future, which is not good.
Needless to say, my time is too precious to be watching 35 mins of China shilling.
From Asia Cyrus has a balanced view no point sticking pins in a doll
LKY said that protectionist policy is bad when he addressed the US Congress years ago.
Protectionist policy "can" work if you keep it short and kick your own industry to wake them up from complacency and becoming competitive once again. But based on how the US automotive industry has been doing for the last decade, I just don't see that happening across the industry in the States.
G7 are still the legitimate rulers of the world whereas the Brics are not
Cyrus is like the honest, hard facts media rather than the controlled, limited media who lie alot.
America is going to a long, long Sleep.
Please change your thumbnail US flag. That is the old one.
He is a mad dog, he can bite you for nothing and demands you pay him compensation.
policy change is something that China does albeit at times quite slowly but too often in Europe and the USA policies seem more entrenched whilst ruling governments change.
But for consumers, the minimum price you need to pay to get the same product has now increased.
China does not intervene into others internal business. Perhaps specific projects should be provided in details.
China kind of like america before world war 2, willing to do business with everybody.
suckling white sea cucumber?
China doesn't interfere in other
Countries Internal Politics ,....it doesn't care what Economic System you prefer.
Because CCP is busily whooping their arsess non stop. Think about it, as the second largest country with military expenditure, Chinese gov invest much more money for “maintaining internal stability” and Chinese people love that ❤. Chinese people don’t care others why they are enjoying the love from CCP mother.
I would not agree western countries has the opportunity build infrastructure in Africa, you no what we are having hard times maintaining our own infrastructure there’s no way America can afford to build infrastructure overseas imo
It won't be the government of the West investing in infrastructure it will be multi-national corporations building/ updating things like rail, ports and communications so they can extract the actual commodities (like rare earth minerals for mobile phones) that little bit quicker. In a way this will end up benefiting some Africans as the same highway that is transporting commodities overseas can speed up taking food to markets. Meanwhile the kind of job many of us in the west aspire to will become increasingly irrelevant
Who's buying EVs??
What a disgusting character of America. However true.
Good sharing.
You speak like like an American Spokesperson for China. As a resident in China, it is expected that China is monitoring every word you say and may be detrimental to ur status there as a correspondent or influencer. Anyway, your opinions provide US and the world an alternative view of what may happen or already is happening. So I shall take them with a grain of salt.
