1:46 Seems to fit nicely. I still have a few cases from the VX Nanos I bought back in the day, they're pretty much sufficient and don't take a lot of space. 5:02 I never turned my OG Anywhere 2 off unless I was travelling and I use it mainly on my desktop PC, but I take it when travelling to my family. No issues at all after lots of years. Dunno when I bought it, but it's been somewhere in 2019. The standby works perfectly well I'd say and I still get _at least_ 30-40 days out of that thing until I need a recharge.
The plastic stuff comes off only if you clean it with some kind of cleaner you are using....Its aggressive. I clean mine with pure alcohol..no problems at all, works and looks stil like new, and you can get parts of this mouse, battery, and pads...I own a Anywhere MX 2, for a couple of years now, daily heavy use, and it is still going strong! For the pads and battery replacements, search on Amazon. I hope this will be helpful to anyone.
I don't clean my mice that often, but I do wash my hooves a lot so they don't dirty up that quickly. My MX Anywhere 2 also is still good, almost 4.5 years in daily use by now.
I have 2 of these and both of them have rubber grip coming off exactly where it broke off for your under the thumb. I love the mouse and will buy a 3rd one soon
I've had mine for a few years and it worked perfectly until I dropped it the other day and the wheel is now jammed. Everything else has been working great, considering the amount of time I spent with it I'm surprised it lasted out. It was my fourth anywhere mouse.
My Razer's wheel stopped functioning after only a few months out of the box, gonna try this one, I need something more reliable and less pointlessly flashy.
Nice! Do you have a 'fix' for the 2s waking up from its own sleep? Or disable the sleep altogether? Mine takes 3-5 seconds for the pointer to start moving once I touch it. I also have an M510 which doesn't exhibit this issue...
As far as I know, there is no easy or licensed way to change the battery. You can try getting in touch with Logitech but think the options are very limited.
Hi, Great video, is the material of the side of this mouse ( Rubber ) where the thumb rests the same on mx anywhere 2 or are the materials used for MX anywhere 2 and 2s different.
Great review, thanks! 😄💪 Is this mouse good for gaming? I tried several other wireless mice and none of them were any good when moving fast and trying to select something small. Very often missed because of bad precision (but only when moved fast). Would this one be good? Still want a good, small, portable, wireless gaming mouse
Bought this in August 2022 for my 2019 MacBook Pro 16" and it just will not work properly. Horribly laggy up to the point that it just stops working all together. I tried a cheaper Logitech mouse and there was no issues.
@@foXnoMad after contacting a Logi engineer, there seemed to be an issue with the receiver being used through an extender (I have a MacBook Pro with no USB-A ports). The same setup worked fine on my Windows laptop but not on the Mac. I have now connected the mouse to my Mac using Bluetooth and keep the receiver on my Windows laptop instead.
Just ordered one. Can't stand Apple's own mouse when it comes to games, it's horrible. Constant right/left miss clicks, scroll is fast af despite slowing it down, and no middle mouse button, which comes in handy in games. Shame many mices don't come with good bluetooth, and usb-c receivers. Gaming on Mac, crazy, but if I can, why not do it.

Thanks for this practical review. Can't wait to get my hands on this Mouse. I already ordered one.

I'd be worried the pure alcohol would cause discoloration or be too harsh.

Interesting, seems like that spot on the mouse is prone to it then. So far though, on mine it's been limited to that and not gotten worse.

Thanks for checking in! I should do a follow up, 5 years on this one still going strong.

The design and texture are the same. Good grip on both.
Great review, thanks! 😄💪

It's no slouch on precision - not made to be a gaming mouse but certainly could be used for it when traveling.

Weird. Were you able to get to the bottom of the trouble?

@@tdc_2021does that works fine, because i am also planning to buy this mouse to use with my Macbook via Bluetooth
@@BerryAB it was crappy with the receiver but I’ve had no issues since connecting via Bluetooth
Hi there, can you please confirm whether this mouse is compatible with the new M1 apple MacBooks?
Works on mine without any problems.

Great video! I just got mine today (over the Anywhere 3) and I'm very happy with my choice so far :)
Great Video
Thanks!
