If you're getting any of these mouses for your work PC, first make sure you'll be able to install Logitech Options software. You'll need "Administrator" access to be able to install software.
Thanks for the video, I have a question regarding to this, I can't install any 3rd party software on my work PC but I can install it on my personal PC. Do you think I can configure it on my pc and then just pair it with my work pc? Thanks
Thanks I have a triathlon was feeling FOMO for the MX mice but after watching this video I now see that I'm very happy with the triathlon. Thanks for saving me $62
Same. Mine's bluetooth got broken and the usb receiver started acting up, keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. (Usb receiver problems started first, hence why I switched to using the bluetooth.) I think it got damaged after taking to very specific hard falls while it was in the hard-shell case. Gonna buy a new one again soon. Best overall mouse I've ever had 🙌
@@kio51423 I had it for roughly about 3 years and 2 months. Bought a new one last week. My USB dongle was lost and Bluetooth was acting up as well, also my sensor had a delay.
You've destroyed the $100 behemoth with some solid points. I bought the 2S, found it very clunky and heavy. I was gonna return and go for 3. But now I'm gonna go for the Triathlon.
12:02 I totally agree with the gesture buttons, I was about to buy master 3 but when I tested at the shop I struggled to reach gesture button with my small hand. Thank you so much for your in depth review.
Thank you for mentioning the horizontal scroll/click differences. I fell in love with the wheel on the triathlon, and it's the main reason I've been hesitant about getting an mx. Would it be possible to mod the mx so it has all the wheel functionality of the triathlon?
My hand is on the medium side so I chose the M590. The quiet clicks is also superb compared to the three on your list. The downside is you are limited to just 2 connectible devices instead of three.
Thanks buddy that was a very good review, showed great points in favor of the Triathlon. Seems like a better design use wise, even if not very attractive
Love your review! I Love my 3S! The battery is insane, and the look and feel of using it is amazing! Those clicks finally gone, the wife can sleep in peace now!
I've been using my M720 since 3.5years now and I have to admit it's not the most beautiful thing on my desk and it does its job most of the time (it has always had connection issues that drive me crazy- might be some problem with software, I don't know). Currently I'm facing infamous double click and I'm forced to look for the replacement. I was thinking of MX master 3 but I'm afraid it will be too big and uncomfortable for me. I have small hands and got used to claw grip... Could you advise me on this? Maybe I should look at MX anywhere 3 - is it as good as the 3 you mentioned in the video? Will I spot any difference between triathlon and mx anywhere?
What a thoughtful and thorough review! I especially appreciated that you specifically mentioned how well each worked for ambidextrous use. (As much as I wish CEO appearance was the main factor, that is probably more important.) It's a little cheesy, but you should put Amazon links in your description. I'm going to go buy that m720 to try it out and I'd happily give you the credit.
@@behnamheimer I purchased both today, m720 will be used at the office and for travelling, its just at a really good price to pass up. MX M 3 will be used at home. I have M/L hands so its a compromise between both but I prefer the longer MX. Hope this helps others out there. Take care.
Hello thanks for the video I bought Mx Master ( Amazon package) but I don’t like the shape and heavy, I come from a mouse that has shape like the g305 and G PRO but I need a wireless one that has Bluetooth too , which one would you recommend Thanks
Thanks for the review, I already have m720 for few years now. Want to buy new mouse but undecided whether to buy mx3 or not. After watching this seems I will buy another m720.
Thank you for the video. It's very very helpful. I came across this video while deciding whether or not to buy Triathlon. ... because I bought MX master 3 and didn't like it's ergonomic design. It gave me hand pain. I wish MX made an ambidextrous version of mx master 3.
The best will be MX2 with scroll wheel from mx3 - side one is litle bit too small for me, and should be fully metallic without rubber, and usb-c charging port
My hand measures 19 x 10 cm, for me is the Logitech M720 better or the MX master 3 ? The MX master 3 looks more premium, the M720 looks more plasticky. I was also evaluating the G603.
It has to do with how you hold and use your mouse. If it's like a claw, then i don't see any problem with m720. Otherwise, you might wanna try the more premium versions.
@@behnamheimer Thanks for replying, I would like to use the mouse with palm grip or fingertip grip, no claw grip, about the more premium versions are you referring to the MX master 3 ?
I have M720 and I think is almost the perfect mouse. I bought silent switches and soldered on place of original omron and is so much more comfortable, i cannot understand why classic double click switch are still used. The only issue is the wheel, too much loose as hardware and make too much rattling noise if not used gently... I ordered another wheel for replace in hope will be more solid. Generally speaking i like logitech and unifying tech, I think they adopt the wrong cost reduction policy. Their products (high end) are too complex with a lot of tiny parts... cost reduction make them sound like maracas... the question so... how a company can run products so badly? Just your points or mine would be enough to sharp out defects... instead looks like nowdays quality and silent operate matter less than empty pointless marketing...
@@behnamheimer Thanks for the response! I had the same question. I am looking for more of a budget mouse for when I travel or on the road. Great to hear! m720 is so good I might go ahead and buy an extra just in case Logi doesn't produce them anymore!
