You need to have special access, 10 minutes vs 2 hrs is a very different experience! One of the best I’ve been on!
I spent the extra $16 (on that day) to go through the lightning lane. I don’t think I’d wait for 2 hours either.

How the heck can anyone be comfortable if that line ends up all the way at the beginning. WOW, this was cool

This used to be my favorite ride @ Disney World until TRON (Magic Kingdom) and Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic rewind (EPCOT) came in. They blow this ride out the water.

they are all really close - like losing the Superbowl in overtime 🤓

I’m in the minority, but I thought it was kind of boring. It’s like Soarin’ but with fake scenery.
That’s ok. If everyone liked the same things, it would be a very boring world🤓
We rode soaring 4x when we went. My daughter had her make a wish and this was the only ride she was so excited over. She initially didn’t want to do it because it was not “a real ride”
But first her to only be 5yr old it felt like she was on a real ride :)
I sure was pleased that it wasn’t real 😂😂. It was our fave too.

I don't think you'll want to close your eyes. The views are fantastically beautiful, and the motion is very smooth. Just sit there and enjoy it!

It helps to see the orignal film so that one can have a deeper context in relation to the layers shown around you.
They let you record video of the ride? Did you have to get permission?
Free advertising for Disney. They get the ad revenue from the video. Recorded entrance and exit with iPhone. For the ride you have to use a secured action camera. I use GoPro on a secured wrist band.

Do you ever plan to go to universal? Or do you stick with Disney a lot more? Personally I’m universal and plan to go to their new location in 2025
I've been to Universal in Orlando several times and liked it, especially the Harry Potter section. Will have to try the new park when it opens. Been to Disneyland more than any other park mainly because I live on the west coast - 2 hour flight much easier than 6 hour flight with the family.

They had everyone skip the forest and lab queue area ,
What was the wait time? Did they do that to streamline getting on the ride or were the lab scenes down?
@adino5823 I would ask them, I think they bypass the Full queue and run the ""short queue" when guest volume is low. I honestly think the full queue should be part of everyones expernece. there are a number of examples of the Full queue on youtube , some people have been taken on a tour through it when they asked ..
That’s what I was thinking. Get on the ride quicker, but miss out on the full experience.
I love Disney, and this is a fantastic ride, but that floating mountain thingamajig looks really bad.

Not at all. Its not even a real roller coaster. Cedar pointnhas best rides. And the veloci raptor in orlando and universal studios
