It's pretty obvious that his issue is not just sickness. The sickness did happen between games 2 and 3, but it is now a smokescreen to protect an injury. Nobody is THAT sick for that long when they have access to limitless medical care, IVs for hydration, etc. He hurt his knee or something like that. 2nd period game 4.

How about, these are the NHL playoffs and they *all* should have stepped up starting with Game 1 ... but they didn't and won't? I don't believe you've watched this team very long. As a lifelong masochist I can promise you they'll dominate tonight, survive to win game 6. Then either look like game 4 in game 7, or they'll take a good lead before blowing it with 5 minutes to spare.

@@antonmalinsky7118 Andersen wasn't traded, he was signed by Carolina after the Leafs let him walk, and the Leafs then signed Petr Mrazek when the Hurricanes let him walk, and he was a disaster. The Leafs and Hurricanes basically traded goaltenders that off-season via contract signings, and the Hurricanes massively won out on that as Andersen is still playing good games for them, while the Leafs traded Mrazek to Chicago for a 2nd round pick in July 2022.
Some told me they got rid of Andersen because he getting old and was fragile and injury prone. That's all I know.

He redeemed himself later as he managed to trade Mrazek to the Hawks but then he went cuckoo again and spent $ to get another "I rob you" goalie Matt Murray.

you might be right, but you also might be missing it. He is their best player, and if he plays, they will lose. IF AM34 does NOT play, the leafs will win, and lots of guys will get points. THAT'S hockey. The leafs dont undertstand hockey, they think putting guys with high overall numbers together will Win. It does not. That is NOT hockey.
I like 34 ...but I've kind of lost a little faith in him. We've only won one round and there were series like Columbus, Montreal and this one where on paper he should have dominated and didn't. IdK what the answer is ...maybe keep AM and Willy and spend 16 and 91 money on goaltending and D
