    I think ALL resin artists are impatient--we get SO EXCITED to see if something new worked--thanks for sharing your experiments AND thanks to Daniel Cooper.

    Try a smaller scraper. An old credit card is a good idea. I use a playong card from a deck of cards.

    So good to hear your friend in on the road to recovery, that's truly awesome.
    This is pretty cool, I had been wondering if something like this could work but was too chicken to try it myself.
    I haven't seen Daniel's video, I haven't watched him lately.
    I watch you and Beth (Southern Lady) every time y'all put up a video 😂 I watch other resin artists sparingly.
    Anyway thanks for the video, catch you later 😊

    I have seen this done but one down side was that it left a residual effect on the mold itself.

    Waiting is one of the hardest things to do with resin😂. I don’t have baby lotion, wonder if it would work with other lotion, think I’ll give it a try.

      Why? It was a total fail all the way around. I just don't understand why people waste products like this. It was obvious from the beginning that this was going to tank. The lotion was unevenly spread, leaving the finished product looking sloopy, but are we really surprised? I mean come on. And un-molding so early is a waste as well.

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper 10 місяців тому

      @MydiqueHowt It wasn't a fail at all, it was a great test and I'm sure she will be more patient next time, we can't progress unless we try as artists 😊

    So happy to hear your friend is doing better. She's going to be fine if she woke up panicking about her water bill.😂 I'm sure her daughter was so happy to be getting shit about mom wondering why she was in the hospital. 😂

    • @kimclayton5814
      @kimclayton5814 10 місяців тому

      You can also use it to make parts of the stencil design more 3d like the boat wheel you can make the little circles higher or prouder if you will.

  • @debramackawgy9245

    I have a question. Instead of putting the stencil and baby lotion on the mold can you do it on a dry piece of hardened resin. Thank you

    • @marvelous4363
      @marvelous4363  9 місяців тому +1

      Not sure the only problem with that is resin sticks to resin so the lotion would be there permanently
