- The lure of a pretty woman never goes out of style. Sometimes if you've got a couple of bucks in your pocket and are listening to some good music you're having a pretty good day. The music is from THE BEST OF ZZ TOP C.D. The eye candy is from the cover of a compilation C.D.
Have mercy, old bus be packed up tight. Well, I’m just glad to get on and home tonight..RIP Dusty
Lmfao hahahaha! Yup
💯 true story
He Will See You Just The Same.
You Dont Have To Worry........

Like Heartbreaker/Livin Lovin Maid lol
16 years old and rock zztop from 4
This fucking song is still the perfect blend of blues and rock. I haven't heard it in about 15 years and damn it still hits hard
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Colby Neil instablaster :)
@Kamari Leland Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kamari Leland it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account :D
@Colby Neil Happy to help xD
I grew a beard while I was listening to this song
Lol!🤣 for real
A music producer told them to shave their beards for publicity or image or rep or something, and Billy Gibbons said "no, we're way to ugly under these things!"
While I was listening to this my beard started to air guitar.
And Beard was the only one without a beard,
I did, too, and I'm a girl!
I used to play this song in my head when i would wait for the bus to go back and forth from work each day when I lived Waco, Texas. I even tapped my foot along to the beat lol.
That such a sweet memory! Texas rock's!
Lmao, nice
A customized 78 Chevy van, 21 years old, and these guys on 8 track. I had it made and didn't even know it!
How can anyone not like this tune? It's absolutely incredible! The voice, the slow whiny guitar licks. The blues baby!
cause they dont really like music
Nothing is better than Texas Blues.. ZZ TOP, Johnny Winter, SRV, Robert Cray....
This 70 year old is getting chills. Great funky bass.
I love ZZ-top! Especially their older stuff. What a beat!
Especially from 1885…
The coolest trio in the music industry!
These dudes are bad, they’re nationwide! Ain’t nobody puts down the groove like ZZ TOP!
I know I’m really biased towards this song (these songs, technically) and this band, but it still blows my mind that people can dislike this.
and its just 3 guys they can sing about tv dinners and make it
"Take me with you Jesus!" Amen Dusty.
3 guys, 3 chords, 3 decade's. \m/
Crazy, Right?
God bless Texas.
Imagine this: A concert featuring ZZ, Stevie Ray, Albert King, Robert Johnson, John Lee, and Muddy. Wouldn't that just be fine as shine and wine?
David J Irving
Nobody better dare give you a thumbs down on that scene bruh...
...they'll get to deal with me...
And add to the list Eddie Van Halen
Man add Albert Collins to that show. Show to end all shows!
Dude's are bad, besides their nationwide. Love ya zz.
Hell yeah boiii
Man Dusty on bass just grooves thru Jesus just left Chicago, love it
Another classic from the greatest era of music ever - the 70's. So glad I got to witness it first hand!
tlc 1955
I lived the 70s too...
...it was the best of times...
...it was the worst of times...
...but the 1970s will always be the best times of my then young life. The great, real music is all we have left.
Realy? Right on My Brother.
🎼Keep on rockin in the free world🎶 I've seen roughly 120 rock shows and the 70s produced the best music...well given that that Beethoven was totally different genre just another form of long haired jams.
tlc 1955 me too Houston
Turned 10 in 1971, ridin my bike, makin tennis ball cannons, streakin too!
Amen!
Damn, that bluesy groove in Jesus Left Chicago. I'm in awe every time I hear it.
Thomas, Billy has blues in his blood!
"...bound for New Orleans!..."
Did y'all go to N'orleans?
Is anyone here because of good quality music??

THE FINEST MUSIC
@@kevin_kevinson appreciate it man and where your comin fr. Thanks you too keep rockin bro
Oh, yerehaaah!
I'm from Tasmania you can't get more Southern than that, I love ZZ Top these songs are awesome! I've been playing guitar for 40 Years and I still do side of the pick harmonics and shit from listeing to Billy!
Love the transition from waitin on the bus /Jesus left Chicago..
Great music....
The two songs being together was a mistake back in the day. Everything was on tape back then and the producer cut the pause between the two songs too short. Happy accident.
How many beer drinkers and hell raisers still jamming to this today??
Pffft. Just cracked one. In glass.
everyone forgets how great zz top was before terminator and mtv
Mike Hegwood not me!
Mike Hegwood ..eliminator was OK,definitely not as a good as their earlier stuff, ...if I had to pick one,I would go with Tres Hombre's as my favorite, but the videos off of eliminator were good .Legs, sharp dressed man..them were the days
Not me, one of my all-time favorite ZZ Top albums is Deguello
Mike Hegwood, keep me off of your “everyone” list buddy
I had this album when I was 13 years old! And I think it came out 5 years earlier!
This song does it for me every time, makes me feel perfectly fine ...ZZ Top the best.
One of Jimmy Hendrix fave bands
Last band I drummed for found the "groove" with these two songs and we didn't stop until 45 minutes had passed. Crowd wouldn't let us.
Bill Craig ya!
I researched waiting for the bus and this is what I got XD
RIP Dusty. Thanks so much for the memories.
Best zz top classic
🎸🎸🥁🎶🎶🎶🤩. R.I.P Dusty .
Have mercy I met Monica
I only clicked for GOIN SOUTH! I remember that shit advertised in the middle of the night when I was up getting torqued. God bless ZZ-TOP, the kings of the blues.
Hahaha, I dig your verbage man. I'm gonna use that.
I’m a die hard extreme metalhead, but damn I cut my guitar teeth losing my mind in long ass jams. Metal is intense, but bands like ZZ and Allmans, blues jams is like “chuuch”!!
Try playing with a quarter or peso, gets down into those harmonics like nothing else - one of Gibbon's signature guitar tricks, perfect for both metal and blues soloing!
Tell Me that THIS ain't some Texas Metal! YeeHaw! (Rock On!) ua-cam.com/video/kaIZWjItReI/v-deo.html
' that's cuz you can't play the blues you have to feel it and metal is Easy Bar chord riffs for beginners I take it you're a rhythm guitarist
Kelly Trowbridge I’m a guitarist. Rhythm, lead, I’m all about the song.
Amen brother
HaaHaa. This is the song duo that my bell bottoms split on. Hilarious:))
Love..zz.top..good.
i remember that cd, Going South. 1998 or so.
Awesome guitar work here WORLD CLASS
Ahh! Take me with you, Jesus.
How could U not like ZZ at their best ? Wonderful music & timeless ;-)
Blues don't get any better than this!
saw these guys last nite and they still kick ass
@Rusty Shackleford:
That IS kick ass! I saw them in '98 on their _Antenna_ tour. They rocked the entire colosseum up off the ground, man hehehehehe
Thank! These two songs should ALWAYS be together!
Rock on!
I used to listen to this back when it came out all the while playing the air guitar to it. This gem of musical expertise has be playing over in my mind for about a week now. After having a couple beers in my computer room, I played this again, then my wife opened the door to ask me something. I couldn't help myself, I started to sing this song, Been waitin for the bus all day, Jesus done left Chicago etc. She now thinks this this old man is nuts. LOL
That's probably why she loves you....don't let that air guitar get rusty.
Yeah! You won't have to worry cause taking care of business is his name!
God, I remember the TV commercials for this compilation. I am old.
I have no choice but to ride JTA every single day. I met Jesus on there the other day - now it's not quite so annoying!
*He* was headed south to Boca!
The well hath no need of a physician, but the sick hath need.
Sure. Obama is a DINO. Not by words, but by their deeds you will know them.
+Steve Lee HAHAHAHA
+Steve Lee He is still in New Orleans. I met him on the corner stool at Johnny White's in the Quarter. I drank Shiner and he just gazed upon the crowd, watching humanity strolling by.
love this shit - especially at the point that Jesus leaves Chicago-- You know that when you listen to ZZ that John Lee Hooker had a huge influence on that bad assed guitar
Damn straight
Him and Lightning Hopkins.
Muddy waters to!! Its in the lyrics!
Jesus just left is one of my favorite ZZ Top songs. If you get into a grove you can spend a couple of hours just listening to their bogie woogie. Great band with a longevity to prove it. Must be something about Texas.
"Jesus just left Chicago and He's bound for New Orleans."
I grew up on this!! My Daddy's favorite band
Jesus just left chicago has to be one of the baddest tunes ever made
Just like a great fried Texas steak, delous..one of the best tunes ever laid down on tape when the two songs are played together
Billy Gibbons’ voice is so Southern-fried sounding, it actually crackles.
I LOVE THOSE REAL TEXANS!,ZZ TOP!
Love that tight rhythm...then that release into slow blues.
seen zz top open for alice cooper in73 in Toronto blew me away.
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Amazing trio of cool dudes
A w e s o m e!
I remember being a kid in the 80’s and me and the old man were rocking out while rolling down the road, and he said to me “It’s just so hard to believe how three little guys from Texas can make this much noise” then turned it up to 11
Fandango must be one of the album's ever.
it don t get better than this my children
bob only one thing to do with this song, CRANK IT UP..........
aaaahhh take me wit cha Jesus
i will never stop listening to b gibbons
saw them do this live in 1974 on Tres Hombres tour , pre beards, GREAT!!
You lucky dog
Damn I was born in 74
I'm jealous
Gotta see them in OKC in 1981
Great show. The little band for Texas
That low-pass filter wah solo just kills!!!
R.I.P. Dusty. The world will miss you but Texas will never get over losing one of our sons
As a man who loves rock and (hence) ZZ Top, AND who rides the bus most every day, this song has special meaning for me!
Right on! That Bus done got me back...Well I'll be ridin' on the bus 'til that Cadillac!
Absolutely love this song...thanks for posting!
Always a good pick
ZZ Top are Rock Greats and very loved in my country! Rock on, Tres Hombres 🎸
These 2 songs right here, I don't care what music genre you listen too, is on everyone's top 10. Whether your black white yellow brown. ZZ Top put out some of the best music hands down.
"Took a jog through Mississippiahh, wellllll muddy water turned to wine".
"You might not see him in person, but he sees you just the saaaame".
Total 🔥. Hell all of it's 🔥. So glad I lived during times IMO, with the best music ever written (60s-80s) and performed! Oh yeah, how bout that outro 🎸!
When BB King see's you play and says, hey you boys are good come play up at the Blues festival in Memphis. You might get a career started. Their first 3 albums are my favorite.
ZZ Top is playing in my po-dunk city in 3 days. Love this river city. G.j. colorado
Saw them in '79 and again in '04. They didn't lose a beat!
Amen Brother. Timeless
I'm born and bred in Jersey, and I love this jam.
This and cheap sunglasses my favorite ZZ Top songs
I see this primarily as a comic song - who writes a blues song about waiting for the bus? Classic ZZ Top not taking themselves too seriously. The Jesus done left Chicago and turns muddy water to wine in Mississippi is the best gospel song of all time.
Does my heart good to here a well made piece of Texas music!!! Texas history as a fact!!! Isn't that right???
My good'ol boys...Been it, done it,did it!!!! Thanx for backin my thoughts... Call you guys when I got the blues again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have mercy yes I've waited waited & waited for the bus all day.
Thank you Mr Hill
Hell Yeah!!! ZZ Top!!! Awesome Great Band!!! I'm 70 still Rock n Roll!!!! RIP Dusty
one of my personal favorites from zz top
Saw them live in Oct'73 at Alfred state college upstate NY then again last summer at CMAC Canandaigua NY can't get enough of the Top
guitar, bass, drums.......sounds like a three course meal to me.....enough said!
Still badass after all of these years ZZTop entertainment!!😎😎
Seen This Group 8 Times Best Band Ever Hands Down
For three dudes. These cats could flat out lay it down. Much respect.
Awesome! Prophetic! Already saints!
a perfect mix of reality, conviction, and life.
Went and saw them this past Friday. By far the best night of my life🤘
Billy.. you guys.. are the best..!
I'm sorry. For your loss of such a
Friend as he is too you !
You guys too me ... Are the Greatest !
Thanks...!
Take me with ya Jesus!!
