This video is extremely informative and while I have been building my army through Pick a Brick, there are searches that I was not utilizing. Ironically, still expensive in my case😜. Finding horses was difficult, the ones I wanted were animal number 11 assembled. That was not search friendly.
@@monblane493 If you can't use discord then I would recommend searching on PAB by set number. You could go-to set (10305) and find Lion knights, Black Falcons, and the Forestmen under that set. I wish you luck finding some knights.

This was the first video of yours I've seen. I really enjoyed it. Got me thinking about smarter ways to build an army. Specifically hiding plain torsos behind breastplates. So obvious! I just recently, after decades away, have found myself drawn back to Lego. I apparently made the rookie mistake of shopping on eBay. These green dragon knights are expensive! I had one further thought concerning arming your heavy cavalry. I considered what are some characteristics of ravens. I like themes and meaning behind creative decisions. Ravens are very clever, swift fliers, and have sharp beaks/talons. Clever doesn't help weapons unless you're thinking stealth unit. Sharp and swift, though, could be something. Historically, lances are very common. You could add a twist by making the lance/pole arm have a hook. I think the term for this weapon is a bill. This hook would be like a raven's talon. Anyways, that's it. Cool video. Keep up the good work.
Love the ideas with the theming behind the castle factions. It's something that i try and keep in my subconscious when creating lore for my world/factions aswell. I'm leaning towards using the Khopesh for my cav but possibly elongated with some bars.
The only thing that sucks is that for me, I'm army building the blue lion knights from the 2013 sets which are no longer available. I've come up with a solution however, I've just been switching the black black falcon torsos around and add a ninjago shoulder peice and dark brown mandalorian cape to make more detailed soldiers

Oh these are great tips! My personal trick has been, the whole figure is usually more expensive. So what I do is one week buy a bunch of torso from one store, next week do the same but with legs, then go to a random store and start selecting random heads the next week, and so on. It does take a long time I admit, but by the end of the month, bam, a good strong 30 or so men ready to go if I play my cards right. As a side note, it messes me up that lego and bricklink use different names for colors. Is there a logistical reasoning why Bricklink does this? You'd think for better organization they'd go with that official names have been given to each color.

They are from the series 20 Collectible minifigure packs. Sadly they are really expensive to buy now adays and i wouldn't recommend anyone collect them because of it. I'm really glad the video helped you and your buddy out :)
Hi @Goldfyre when I have a look at an item in the pick-a-brick shop I don't see an option to spin the item around to see it's backside. I even choose item no. 6125711 as you did at min. 2:12 I don't see the "Spin/Static"-Slider, and I don't see the left and right "turning arrows" you are using. What could be the reason?

Yo, if you spend $30 or more on their website shipping is free which I think most people might as well just do save up 30 or $40 and then buy everything you want. One bulk order you’ll get free shipping.
They dont have those pieces in my country i havent starded an army yet but im looking on briklink for my separate parts it costs around the same as the 5 knights on ebay but i also added some shoulderplates
I bought most of mine in 2022 for around 12-18 a piece. I honestly wouldn't recommend buying them at their current day price. It's gotten kind of insane over the past year and a half
are the available parts region dependent because my lego site doesn't seem to have the same parts available with only one or two insignificant pieces available
This is a slightly misleading video. You're showing the Black Ravens and Red Falcons at the start, but you cannot get these anywhere other than ebay or over-priced sites. Only the Black Falcons and other castle minifigs can be bought on pick-a-brick. You should have been clear from the start.
@@Goldfyre Then surely the thumbnail should feature the black falcon knights, as those are the ones you can buy on p-a-b. For anyone looking to build an army of Black Raven knights, your video would lure them in. Or was that the intention? Still very misleading.
@@DR-fx5rf I use the raven knights as b-roll and thumbnails because i like them. I can understand where you're coming from but the intention was absolutely not to mislead people. I made this video because i was sick of seeing people getting ripped off by people on eBay overpricing figs from PAB.

Sadly VIPs doesn't account here in Japan. Plus there's no PAB or Bricklink hubs here. So im kinda screwed with that. Especially on Star Wars, i always buy like 3 or 4 battle packs. LOL, they are not scammers but resellers, you don't have to buy from them, but if you do you need to pay for their work. You pay for example for much faster shipping as they already have the parts, in the lego store it takes lot's of time to get the parts (even a month if they are not in 'often bought' category). They also may have some things/parts that lego shop don't have, or maybe you can get free shipping below the lego stors limit.

Yeah LEGO should really redo there UI on PAB. It's not very easy to find what you're looking for unless you know all these weird names and odd tricks.

I love army building. I tend to stick with 20 or less per faction though. That way I can fully flush out all of them with details

tbh i wish lego would adopt bricklinks naming convention as they are definitely more commonly used by members of the community.
I have been using picks brick and pretty much every figure and thing i make including weopons armour and stuff is 2.50

I wonder why this works for the Lion Knights Castle but not other sets with minifigures. Is it because these figures are more generic?
Lego PAB has minifigure parts from a lot of their in house themes (monkie kid, ninjago, & friends)
