My youngest daughter & I would spend hours playing this game at the arcade. It was daddy/daughter time. On my days off it was either bowling or gaming. My wife had the arcade on speed dial!
lmao i remember playing this in the kids arcade room at Henry's family restaurant, if i could convince my parents to give me a dollar.. haha good times, seeing the chick in the bikini waving the flag takes me back
*SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES* Yeah, it is for all ages when there's Bikini girls on the screen and the trophy girl. I think Parents would discourage such arcade game after playing it for themselves. I do know however that the girls can be turned off in the Arcade Settings to make the arcade place family friendly but eh, who even cares.
tightlypackedcoil the game was improved on the n64. n64 was twice as strong as the arcade machine. early n64 cart size was the fail having to pack everything in a few MB
It's just my personal impression. I played both alot back then. I remember the arcade being way more fluid. I've played my N64 version and it has a very poor frame rate and choppy visual. Still a good game though!

Ahhh... this was my childhood
This game is WAYYYYY more fun to play in first person mode where you can't see your own car. It's more like your actually driving.
The way this game changes tracks from fading in reminds of the film "DUEL".
Man this brings back memories
can anyone help me playing this on mame? i cant configure the keyboard to simulate an analog wheel drive. its impossible to control.
Bring Back The 90's...
This was brilliant.Spewed many a 50p into that machine:) And would play for ages. Addictive
This game was my fucking childhood! I always played it when I went to the arcades :)
I used to play this game a long time ago back in the day. Why is the blue car always in front? I'll never know...
Omgggg I was just trying to explain this and finding this video make me so happy!!!!

I always liked the Testarossa and the SVO Taurus in the game.
Good old childhood memories :)
YA! Deadwood Ride was my fav. radio station
How do you find the hidden staff credits during the attract mode?
And Nintendo was the Delveoper of this game
Kinda miss this
how to play this in arcade emulator?
Wow its my favourite game at Moscow arcade in 90s
Anyone notice that the N64 version has that weird 'Rosanne' intro look to it?

0:24 Lady: ready set go
Awww...why no Corn Pops ad in my n64 version? :(
What's the difference between this one and the n64 version
the graphics the sound and the crashing mechanics wen u crash in the n64 version u fly like a ruber ball
1:05 looks like Vice City! Right before you enter Starfish Island.
Only thing missing was the Vercetti estate!
o man this takes me back
* goes to get n64 from closet*
i love it too
This version crushes the N64 version in peaces.
Especially since the N64 version was censored.
Which emulator did you get this from?
Yes
Bout to get one of these off eBay. I'm ballin bro I make hundreds of dollars a week.
@WorldChallenge well of course. The N64 version was based off of this.
This was a Good Game.

Personally, I'm more offended by the roadkill (I know it's a joke). But that can be turned on or off in the settings as well.
4:35.... that pop-in. Saints Row 3 could at least excuse the pop in by having ok graphics.
Wow the arcade version of the song "redline shuffle" is horrible.
00:55 PWNED! LOL
But they could have made a better job doing the port
🖥️🎮😀👍
UHH NO!
the N64 was superior to the arcade machine.
