Either Harv’s island or Brewster. I can’t decide
The new items are probably my favorite new feature. I will continue to play but not as much as I used to, which is okay. Who knows, I might circle back to it in a few months.

I think Brewster is my favourite too. I'm just checking in on my island today and doing a few nook + tasks, just a chill day, and I always like starting out with a coffee just like IRL.
Will you be updating your island address?
People who are just now getting animal crossing most likely will never have to experience the struggle we had to go through pre 2.0

Not gonna lie, I’d pay money for more unique Villager dialogue
For the cafe I had hoped you could get coffee for other villagers and learn their order etc
All of the villagers like coffee a certain way....I AGREE!!! FUN! Even if we got like 20 bells or a faster way to a photo!!

Great video! Best things about 2.0 for me are the expansion of bridges & inclines, the storage shed (huge game changer) and the new items. I also love the vines and ladders for sprucing up those bare cliffs.
I was burnt out before 2.0, then 2.0 hit and I played non stop and went to treasure islands to get all the stuff. I maxed out my bells so I could open up all the shops. Then, I got burnt out again. I miss the game so I decided to delete my island and start fresh. I play the way it's meant to be played- no time traveling, no treasure islands, etc. I am really enjoying the game again. I love opening it up every day to see my new building or shop. I recommend doing that if you're burnt out.
Awesome job on the video! I don't know if you know this yet, but crops actually sell for a pretty great price. I have to admit, cooking is (while very cute) kind of pointless, so I just sell my crops and it's become one of my main sources of income on my island.
Yes, farming is my main source of income. I bring in about 250,000-300,000 bells every two days. Plus sometimes I get nook miles by watering my crops. The main reason I cook is just to get nook miles.
I love the update! I surprised myself a little because I don’t take a lot of Kapp’n trips (even though his songs are cute), but I get coffee from Brewster just about every day. This is definitely the best time to pick up ACNH

I’ve only had the game sense Christmas 2021. I’d watch past streams about animal crossing and someone mentioned “I don’t have any money right now”. Me not realizing that the cost of moving houses was reduced:it’s only 10 thousand bells. Me looking back:oooh. It’s part of the new update. Ok
Where was this in 2020? I went broke moving houses back and forth making a neighborhood 😆
I deleted the safe file and started over completely just weeks before the update came out (I didn’t know there was an update coming). I found the update quite overwhelming to be honest. in the beginning the differences with pre update aren’t that great, but after you get K.K. to come to your island a lot of the update just get’s dropped on you. since you’re still in the early stages of the game you are still quite broke, and unlocking everything on harv’s island & taking the tours with kapp’n are big tasks because you need to save up a lot of bells and nook miles. I have happy home paradise but haven’t played it yet because there is still so much to do in the main game. I also never really comment on videos but wanted to share my view on the update. don’t get me wrong I love everything about the update but in my opinion they should’ve spaced it out a bit more throughout the game. especially for people who don’t already have 300 hours of gameplay under their belt and are really starting their island for the very first time

I think your description of acnh is the best summary of it, even post 2.0. (It's an island designing game. Period) Log in for a lil while each day, do some dailies when ya feel like it, or play something else when the thought of acnh isn't appealing.
Do you collect the villager icons, Ryan? From Nintendo switch online via rewards?? Each month, the villagers who's bday are current are available. Lots of fun! 😁

My fave things are the ability to design all the houses and get every colour of all the items from harvs island
I could of sworn they meant they hoped fans will continue to find new surprises for 2-3 years even more. Not that they promised updates of 2-3 years.
I reckon Nintendo should add a 2nd island update on the same switch, I wish they could but it's their choice, though it would be awesome!

I feel like they could def do/add more regarding hairstyles like a few every 3-4 months and clothes wise they didn't add that much for 2.0 I was hoping they give all the cloth combinations from pocket camp. Again they could do like 50-100 new pieces every few months. Just to keep players that like that kind of gameplay which is collecting and such.
i use the workout feature whenever i NMT hunt, sometimes im so fed up i just do it a few times in a row

I got the sword from Kicks when he came to my island a few days ago.
i just got back into animal crossing yesterday, i restarted my island but i feel so bad because i had lucky as an autofill

I’m still a little annoyed because I bought it for the social sim elements on the strength of a recommendation from a friend who had played the older games, and what I got instead was a decorating simulator that drip feeds furniture and recipes to you. The villagers are still flat with lots of repetitive dialogue.
I agree. This is why I prefer stardew valley. The npc's have actually personalities
the physical stretching SAVED me during lockdown. Literally my only movement most days. 10/10 highly recommend

I think that the new ppl will enjoy all of this stuff. As far as the ppl from day one, we would’ve enjoyed this stuff more if it would’ve been implemented from day one! I know it would’ve expanded game play even more!
I definitely got my enjoyment out of this game tho so I’m not going to deny that.

i just started playing animal crossing for the first time a week ago, what did they change ?
There were no crops, no kapp'n, no brewster, no harv's island shops, half the items in the game came from 2.0. Basically, it's a whole new game now.
