It’s so frustrating that the BOTTLES can have recipes you’ve already obtained so you end up with so many duplicates. They could still be a MYSTERY even if it’s not one you already have.

I've been playing for over 1000 hours since ACNH came out, and I've watched your videos, almost religiously, because there could be 1 little piece of info I needed... JUST LIKE TODAY!!! Thank You🌮
The glowing moss and vines DIY recipes I get from message bottles in the DLC are ALWAYS duplicates 😠 Recently Marshal gave me the gold armor DIY recipe (which I already have) and I stupidly thought it was the golden plate armor DIY recipe (which is the only DIY recipe I'm missing from smug villagers). Pashmina also did that to me, she gave me the golden gear tower DIY recipe INSTEAD OF the gear tower DIY recipe (it's the other personality specific DIY recipe I'm missing) Also, I'm frustrated whenever I see Marshal or Pashmina cooking, because I have all cooking recipes 😭🤷🏻♂️ (except for spooky cookies and salmon recipes).
It's why I'm delaying getting the "pro chef" from the abd. What I discovered on my new island is if you don't have it, you won't get cooking recipes, even on produce islands. Other than the recipes you get for events (like spooky cookies), not getting it till later has made getting certain diys easier. Though I'm still trying to grind which is annoying because I need certain ones for this new island.
I collect 2 bottles every day. Ones around 7am, and then the second one after 6pm. Then I go to the villagers to get one in the morning, and then another after noon. So I’m getting 4 per day.
I have gotten 2 bottles in one day on the main island. Not every day but it happens. Even after both of my people have gotten their own bottles. And OMG I never found the Easter bottles!! Bummed...Thank you for all the awesome videos!!
The spawn rate on Kapp’n tours seems to be much higher than Dodo mystery islands. I played irt for 5 months then succumbed to the time-travel bug, went back to the day I started, then sped through collecting DIY’s, etc on the way. I’ve only seen a few Kapp’ns with no bottle - and one can spawn in when you’re doing other things there. I now have all the food recipes and most of the resource ones (wood, iron, etc). It’s just the mountain of Celeste and pesky flower ones that make the grind very real…
I have been trying since the launch of this game to get my hands on the scattered paper diy and I have had no luck. I am also looking for the new glow in the dark sticker diy but given my luck I feel like it will be a while before I get it. XD
Yesterday I had two bottles on my island. One in the morning and one at night. This has happened several times since the last update. These are not because I didn't pick up the earlier bottle as I comb my shores at least a dozen times a day picking up shells, etc.
I still don’t have all the recipe’s. I really want the iron garden style chair and table. I never got the recipe from Tom Nook at the start of the game and so my friend gave me a few of her’s from her island. Would prefer to have the recipe myself though.😞
I'm not sure if the first point in this video is entirely accurate.. I have gotten a message bottle in the morning then again in the evening before. I did not miss the bottle the day before, as I keep up with my dailies and save my extra recipes for my best friend. I only have one character on my island currently, so it wasn't a bottle for an additional character either. I also did not time travel. It has also happened to my best friend before in the same way as me. It doesn't happen everyday, but every once in a while, I have noticed it does indeed happen. I remember being incredibly confused the first time I noticed it.
I found out the bunny day bottles aren't limited to one a day. I logged in to one of my alternate players who never experienced bunny day and found the full series along the beach, along with whatever Zipper gives.
Bottles! I'm missing 4 cooking recipes (Salmon), 3 seasonal recipes/DIYS, 12 personality based DIYs, and 8 nonpersonality DIYS. Since I try to get all 7 recipes/DIYS possible in a day without using NMT (1 island bottle, 3 villager checkins, 1 Kapp'n, 1 HHP bottle and 1 HHP recipe), I get A LOT of duplicates :P
I'm planning on adding a second house on my island so I can have 2 chances at celeste diys and second bottles too. I'm not sure if you can also get them on Paradise with a secind account or not.
As for finding 2 bottles in 1 day...I feel you're incorrect. If you log on before 6am there's a bottle and then log on again after 6pm there's yet another bottle.
Although u can't get a message in a bottle from ur own villager on ur island but u can on hhp, it happened a few time with me I got a bottle on hhp and it was from my own villager on my island :0

HHP beach gives a higher chance for vine/moss diys > haven't gotten a new one for ages despite only having a third of them.

The only recipes I still need on my main profile is the ones you get from fishing Salmon, but it's only available in September.

villagers can give you cooking recipes if you walk into their houses and you see them cooking
I’ve been trying to get the golden helmet diy and i have both the gold armor and the gold armor shoes its been a struggle
the restaurant also has recipes you can get too
