@@sentero1856 I was self employed, I ran out of money as a result of the actions of another country and had to return to England. I loved Dominica very much, but due to my circumstances could not support myself any longer.
Love the video, the island and the house. We stayed there too and it is awesome. Next time we will definitely see if Bamidele and Jimmy can do a pizza for us.
Thanks for this well documented video of my wonderful Nature Isle! I'm from Soufriere and Kerry is my cousin! So amazing that you've visited my island! Sorry according to the time of year, we have a lot of rainfall! The reason why you were unable to see the fresh water lake on the day is because of the rain! On a bright sunny day the lake is breathtakingly beautiful! The fact that you were at the top of the mountain which has lots of mist! Just imagine that you were standing in the middle of clouds ⛅️! Thanks and I hope that you'll return, at least you've got that direct flight ✈️ from Miami! 👏🏾👍🏽🙏🏾
Amazing video and experience. But how could you not have climbed down to the Wavine Cyrique waterfalls? That is the most divine place in all the island for me, that is after having lived there for three years. Climbing down by rope is an adventure in itself. The red rocks of Calibishie is another ohh-ahh view. The difficult hike to the Boiling Lake is the ultimate adventure. And the Creole cuisine tickles your tastebuds like no other and is another interesting area to explore.
Good that I came across your information packed video. Planning a trip in early December and hope the weather will be good. We are not adventurous like you are but with a retirement age, we are planning to capture the beauty of Dominica via our camera. Appreciate if you could give me some attractions that do not require difficult (incline) hikes and we can handle more flat ones with little inclines. Also any recommendation to stay for a week will be great. Thanks.
Also how was the driving for you guys? Did you rent at airport and was it expensive? Did you need a driving permit? Sorry for questions but not a lot online info so prefer to ask someone who went there. Our trip is soon and we are excited.
Driving was mostly fine. Expect traffic in Roseau during morning and afternoon rush hour, and take it slow on the winding mountain roads. The other thing to be aware of is that Google Maps are often wrong about how to get to places. It's almost always a better bet to ask a local for directions once you're in the general area of what you're looking for. We did pick up our car right outside of the airport, and paid a little more for a large rental because we needed enough room to fit 5 people. Our US driver's licenses were fine for renting the car. Have an amazing trip!
Hi! I've been searching for places to stay in Dominica (cute, simple, affordable). This looks very nice! Would it be ok I use you as a reference when I contact the airbnb?
Dominica is beautiful, the people warm. I lived there for 3 years and had some great experiences and made fantastic friends
What did you do for work there? Why did you leave and to where?

I'm going to Dominica in a few days ! What hot springs should I visit and how much to get in ?
We went to Ti Kwen Glo Cho and Tia's. It's been a while but I don't think entrance was any more than $10 a person
