@@TheBreadstick I call people who whine about something not looking like it came from factory after restoration "whiny shits". Like in this video he cleaned the motor, to remove oxidation, he replaced the brushes, he rebuilt the battery and the unit is working now. Anybody who complains about the case not being painted is a "whiny shit"

Brushes got replaced
the carbon brushes are the culpirt this tools was sell off, from point of view those brushes are looks okay, but looks can be deceiving as they say
The brushes were the very first thing you removed. How did you not check if they were the problem there and then? They were bent, smashed up and missing their contacts. Surely that raised your suspicions? Everything else after that was unnecessary work, and unnecessary video.
