Thank you china phone makers for challenging samsung and apple and making us the consumers have cheap phones with great performance
Thank you Xiaomi for copying iPhone design and making us the consumers have cheap phone with great looking.
@Don Espoleto
I use over 8 chinese phones and none of that happened maybe if ur just careful of ur acc and not stupid u can avoid that
@Don Espoleto
Sis i have a job making 55k per month lol
Im just wise enough to know that other phones are overpriced
@Don Espoleto
Lol i always have 2 phones evry year i buy new
I see ur not smarthphone person or a techperson that's why u can't understand me
@Don Espoleto hey it's someone personal choice whether they want to upgrade their phone every year or stick to their outdated phone for years. Many users want to use the latest specs and features available in the market and they have every right to use a more viable option than spending money on premium smart phones. No need to be so judgemental and enforce your opinion on anyway. Remember it's there money and their choice. You can keep sticking to your outdated phone for 5 years.
Not a Xiaomi fan boi but I appreciate them for bringing down the price of cell phones.
They're godsends for poor people like me

Someday, the US might call Xiaomi a threat to national security as well.

It is a threat. I believe the government here has banned all chinese phones. Such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo, or whatever is Chinese phones. But its not a problem to me. Im still happy with my iPhone XS.

No don’t think so. Xiaomi is more of a integrator, an enterprise which makes affordable products for your everyday life, it doesn’t have the technology that potentially threaten US’ leading position

You mean a cheap version copycat of Apple?
Will Lee typical apple fanboy. Xiaomi has different os different design. Apple didnt invent the smartphone, they stole the idea as well. Heck steve jobs even stole the macOS idea from xerox
Will Lee chinese smartphones are often more technologically advanced than iphones. They innovate, while apple copies. For example, bezeless displays with popup cameras are a chinese invention, shich apple will soon copy. Camera under display is another xiaomi invention, which i am sure apple will copy.

Question: is Xiaomi a threat? Answer: Apple is dropping prices.
It is forcing apple as well as samsung

I love this brand..... I had the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 from 2015, up until August last month and my entire family uses this brand for phones. It is easy to use and the cost is just right. I bought the Xiaomi Redmi K20 last month only because I dropped the note 2 from a flight of stairs and I needed a great excuse to get an upgrade...lol, and I am loving it so much, even got my sister to get one. I also got the Mi band 4 as well as the body composition scale. Love it.... My home will eventually become home to Xiaomi....
This is clearly not just a normal comment.

@@arabianspots5588 It is a normal comment and not an Ad. I have not mentioned prices as it will differ based on country and I am using third party service providers to import this brand as it cannot be sourced locally. @@arabianspots5588 I don't think that's paid. Xiaomi can't afford to pay people for such nonsense. I have a couple of Xiaomi phones in home and also a body composition scale. Plenty of my friends have Mi Band as well. So, its not a stretch by any sense of the imagination.

Mi phones are really great ..man .. deserves to be the top
interviewer: “Walking into Xiaomi feels like Apple”
Xiaomi President: “we are really different”
interviewer thinks: “yeah right”
I’m so glad I have Chinese friends willing to send me these neat things from China-at least until I get there next year! My Xiaomi tablet is even better than my iPad in speed and overall performance! My ONLY complaints are battery (the first 50% goes down pretty fast; then it slows down). But, it CHARGES back up fully in less than an hour-so, not really worth complaining about! Second is the camera-which I never use anyways.
I’ll be ready for a new phone before leaving next year and I’m wavering between Huawei (with their new, “advanced” OS they are coming out with) OR Xiaomi. We’ll see, I have enough friends there always testing the new devices out, that I’m sure it will be an excellent product, whichever I decide on!
PS Just like so much about what we hear about China these days; “Made in China” doesn’t mean anything like it used to anymore! EVERY electronic my friends have sent has been EXCELLENT quality! Are there some dud out there? Of course, no country OR Company, is perfect. But, at least China is moving in the right direction-no matter WHAT US media and politicians try and tell us!
