It's held twice a year. The fight in this video was the time they faced each other in April. Last Rites beat Boogaloo in October. It's also a double elimination tournament so it's possible for two robots to face each other twice in the same competition. That didn't happen between Last Rites and Electric Boogaloo but it is the reason why Original Sin fought both Electric Boogaloo and Last Rites twice in October 2012.

The bar on LR probably didn't notice either!!! The axle that cleanly broke off was a test to do exactly what it did, the axle still inside the robot stayed intact and the chain stayed on the axle. the front tire on the other side sheared inside the bot and left the tire dragging on the out side of the bot. The chain came off on that side and destroyed the rear drive chain causing a system failure.
I am confused... there are 2 fights from RG 2012 on youtube of Last Rights and Electric Boogaloo. In one Last Rights is knocked out and in the other Electric Boogaloo is totaled, by the look of it, so what happened? Both fights were epic either way!!!
We went from 1 flat free tire to 2 hand truck tires for a few reasons. 1. Less shop prep time ( I had to cut every tire to size... What a mess) 2. Cost (3 hand truck tire are less than one of the others) 3. Better traction ( since we changed Batteries we have the power for rubber tires) 4. 2 are sometimes better than 1! (the outer tire is the ablative armor, takes most of the damage )
Matt, what was the reason you went from single wheel per axle to two wheels per axle? I did not notice much difference in your fight against Last Rites... it just ripped both wheels on the front left axle like it was nothing.
