When Monique touched on her experience with her family. And how everyone kept telling her how she needed to support them after their mistreatment of her. SHE STOOD ON BUSINESS!!
Because they all stood together and nobody sold out! Too many black people are satisfied with the scraps from massas table. Each time one of us has spoken out and wanted to boycott one of these establishments, nobody cares because it's not happening to them.

This interview with Monique was so detailed and interesting. The Kevin Hart part was sad and disappointing but he comes across as being that kind of person. Unfortunately, I don’t believe Tyler Perry will ever publicly address any of this, and Oprah definitely will not. Oprah is in her 70s now and although people are starting to see the kind of person she is, at 70 she gonna leave things the way they are as not to cause anymore damage to her public persona or reputation.
I can see how Monique’s sentiments resonated so deeply for you. You always stand up for what’s right & yourself, even when alone. Such an admirable trait 👏🏾

Never had an issue that Mo'Nique spoke out. I did criticize how she went about things later when it came to the netflix stuff, but after watching that interview, it was like, okay yeah, we ALL have our cringy moments or say some things publicly that could've been said differently - but this interview doubled down her mission statement and proved that she has always been about integrity and meaning what you say to someone. When you said "36 million over a lie?" - yeah, dang, I wouldn't have any couth or tact either...I loved the indie film she did years back named Blackbird. I hope she gets the support she needs to open up a small studio house to create more films independently and put on a new generation of artists with integrity. Also thanks for the consistency here Jessie!
I wish Monique had a new project or something we can support when going on these platforms. These platforms are getting a mill plus views. Yes, tell your truth while also telling us what you have coming up. Like a tour, book, movie etc.
Thank you! I've been saying this over and over. I understand her message, I support her message but I really would like to support her other projects. Thank you, Jess! People who have been mistreated have the right to voice their pains and grieve what they have lost. I am so sick of people always throwing around the "don't be a victim" card like it's a badge of honor. If you have been abused physically, financially, emotionally, etc. you were a victim of that circumstance. No, that is not your whole personality, but you have a right to identify and validate what you have been through. I say this, especially for Black Women, who have been and continue to be on the receiving end of many different forms of abuse, for extended periods. Which can have life-long ramifications that people don't just heal from overnight.
Jessie please don’t listen to the negative comments about your appearance. You are a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. ❤ LOVE YOU ON DISH NATION TOO ❤
They love the strong black woman when she is fighting for everyone else, not when she is fighting for herself. As long as we are carrying them everything is fine, but when we complain and don’t want to carry them because our back hurt, they gaslight us and say that we are the problem.
Have you noticed how Adam Sandler always makes sure he casts his friends in his productions? Id like to see big name black celebrities do the same...put other people on and that. Love or hate her Monique is an amazing actor and entertainer.
When Monique specifically to Oprah, specifically calls her out on the role in the "Butler" I knew at that exact moment "WE all as a collective" owe @Monique an apology ❤😢❤

I low key think Oprah is/was a bit envious of Mo, especially after she told the story about when her husband told her how O was looking when people were screaming her name at the Oscars. Annnnd she went and got every role Mo was recommended for along with having her mama'em on the show without asking her . But Barbara Walters had enough respect to call her. Oprah moved really trifling and then lied on her. That lie made her loose money. Yea, I'll be on her head each and every time as well! TF!
I just realized Monique and Jada are cut from the same cloth. Both from B-more, outspoken, big V energy, not afraid to speak their truths and both hated for it. Interesting...
Thank you so much, Jessie, for speaking your truth about this industry. I needed this. I thought it was just me. This industry makes you feel like you are a beggar.
My grandparents call each other momma and daddy too. My dad, when my parents were together, called my mom momma. So I never thought something was different about it until people talked about Mo’Nique
I find it interesting that black men say black women aren't feminine enough but they seem to have such a problem with her being submissive PUBLICLY TO HER HUSBAND which I find truly disturbing 🤔 .....even if didn't agree with her calling him daddy with the amount of hate she gets is unreal
@@adilahrose8458 they don't like her submitting to her husband because it means she can't submit to them. They need him out of the way bc they think that will give them a chance to control her.

I came on UA-cam just to see if you posted anything about the DL and Monique situation…it was the first thing I seen. God Bless you Jessie for not allowing the negativity to dim your light. I will say this tho Monique clearly had never listened to DL’s radio show because the segment that she’s speaken of is something that he use to do with all of his guest (every celebrity). She clearly took it personal and I know from listening to the show that (on DL’s end) there was no ill intent, just based on the fact that he did it with every single guest. I also don’t understand why Monique still felt the need to drag him and his family on stage after he removed the segment.
I agree. I thought the same thing about the segment. However, I also see her point of him being dismissive once she shared that the question was offensive to her. Regardless if it what they do, he could have handled that conversation differently by saying hey it wasn't meant to be offensive towards you, it's just a segment we do for fun, but I apologize if it was offensive even if that wasn't our intention. People have to get out of their egos sometimes and apologize and validate other people's feelings.
BS. The segment isn't the issue. The question asked however was downright disrespectful. And like another commenter said...if it was Michelle Obama they wouldn't have asked that crazy ass question. They played in her face because there was no respect for her period. She had a right to be pissed. And DL could of handled it better.
"Would you rather your husband sleep with Lee Daniels with protection or Superhead unprotected" yall let's be for real. That not in jest, funny, or appropriate.
I take it none of you have ever listened to his radio show when he played the “Would You Rather?” game with every celebrity that called into the show. It was always inappropriate questions for everyone that called in. DL is a comedian, being inappropriate often comes with the job. However, when Monique told him how she felt, he removed it, which means no one heard it. She still felt some kind of way about it and decided to go on stage and Reopen a very hurtful past trauma. She was dead wrong for that and if she hasn’t apologized for that she definitely owes him one. DL didn’t have to go off like he did either tho.
I think one of the most powerful points Monique made was about her love for her husband and how and why he protects and "raises" her. We need to start really paying attention because she is actually living the life that all the girls yearn for. That soft life that everyone speaks of, Monique lives it day in and out because she has a REAL MAN, a real husband who takes care of her, love her, protects her, provides and leads, as well as supports her. Black people should actually look at them as goals and stop being so negative. The black love that they display is remarkable! We are the most disrespected and unprotected but when we see the opposite displayed and portrayed in public we have everything negative to say. It's crazy.
MO interview was amazing 💯 ❤ just like with Katt ❤ I watched both interviews all the way through and more than once. Respect to both. Not a DL FAN PERIOD haven’t been for a while.
It was an interesting interview. I was shocked that I actually sat there for 3 hours watching it. And this morning I see that the Breakfast Club apologized. Lil late but glad they did it in the same public space they did their dirty
People can say what they want about Mo'Nique but you cannot deny she's an amazing Black woman. She's beautiful, intelligent and funny as hell! One of the funniest comedienne's we've ever witnessed. AND her husband stands ten toes down beside her. I don't always agree with everything she says (which is totally normal) but that woman is a force. She deserves protection and support. She always has.

Mo Nique has the right to speak her truth And I am glad she mentioned Taraji ...PLEASE EVERYONE BE CLEAR THE COLOR PURPLE WOULD HAVE FLOPPED EVEN WITHOUT TARAJI SPEAKING TRUTH TO HER EXPERIENCE
We have ALL read the book ,saw the original movie and play. ENOUGH! IT WAS DONE TO DEATH AND AN UNNECESSARY ATTEMPT .
❤And yes Jess girl you are a survivor You are smart , you are beautiful , you is kind lol ❤
Now F them Haters and anyone else who says different ❤
I agree like…I’ve seen it multiple times, what is there to see again in the color purple!?smg
Yes and the rights are owned by a yt man, Steven Spielberg so it’s just more money for his pocket and we out here singing, shucking, speaking broken English and hurting each other in a theatre near you. Enough already.
All respects to 50 cent for giving her an acting job, which she is killin
You're living rent-free in that man's at this point. He's still talking about you after all these years. Shout out to you and Mo for standing up for yourself! As black women, we go threw this a lot. It's depressing at times to have to stand on businesses most of the time alone. Much love to you guys and all the other women with similar experiences. ❤️
When Monique touched on her experience with her family. And how everyone kept telling her how she needed to support them after their mistreatment of her. SHE STOOD ON BUSINESS!!
BE CLEAR:: Friends WHOLE CAST made a MILLION dollars PER EPISODE.
And the show is BEYOOOND mediocre!!
Exactly. I was about to post the same . 😊
@@dancerbabe02i'm glad someone finally said it. that show is legit caca poopoo garbage. idk why people like it so much.
Because they all stood together and nobody sold out! Too many black people are satisfied with the scraps from massas table. Each time one of us has spoken out and wanted to boycott one of these establishments, nobody cares because it's not happening to them.
Only on season 9-10. They started off making around $22k and worked up as the show became more popular worldwide.
I mean didn’t Kevin make a promise to his first wife and second wife and still not follow through?!?! He’s clearly a man that has a record…
Kev is an opportunist
The way DL came at her with weight insults and acting like he didn’t watch club Shay Shay, and stating that No one will ever love her and she would have to pay for love all things that had nothing to do with what she talked about. DL showed his true self and basically affirmed what she said.
My mom taught me at a young age that "Your word is your bond" so I have always known the power and integrity of keeping your word. Also "Mean what to say and Say what you mean" but unfortunately so many people (especially today) have no integrity so they have no idea what it is to keep your word and the power of words.
Monique said for those not listening… She sent a legal letter to stop the video. Monique for her age her body looks good!! A hit dog will holler. Silence is golden
She lost weight and but her confidence has always been top tier
@@nwatson2773yes ma’am & I love it!
And if you listened to their live, her Daddy said that didn’t happen!!, so DL was right!! He pulled it to respect her wishes !!!
I KNEW Jessie was coming to talk about Monique’s interview. I’m here for it ❤
Any time the Haitian community comes for you I’m always team Jessie paske m konen ki jan nou ye. I’ve experienced that stuff being a musician in Haitian church. I want better for us.
Monique gave everyone a gentle read, - smooth and deadly
Let me just say
I struggle to get up in the mornings most days
But this morning I thought to myself
Cmon..get up..Jessie might post today
And it's usually 10am when I get it
So I made breakfast and my tea and sure enough there she is
What a special woman you are Jessie cs I got up this morning cs I didn't wanna miss you
You're a big help on days that I need my struggle to be a little lighter ❤
😭❤️
@@TheeJessieWoo Thankyou Sistah💛
@user-uj9cy2wj1j It is very obvious the Jesse knows that. She is smart. Let people be people. That's her thing! It's like when people say "periodt!" THEY know period doesn't end with the letter "t"
Praying for you!
@@AM-rg5ei Thankyou
I appreciate and need all the prayers I can get💛
Who are those ppl calling you ugly????? Are they maaad??? They dey craze!!! You are beautiful!!! 😍😍😍
Jessie literally keeps me sane at work…My work environment can be isolating at times so watching her videos bring me comfort❤
Does anyone else sing Jessie intro on their off time. Just randomly at work like …. “Jessie Woo”! …. Waterfaaaaaalllls 🎤
It seems to me she's just waiting on the apology from Tyler and Oprah that it's been made clear she is never going to get. Please just start speaking on your other projects and blessings bring in some positive light becasue the negativity is is dimming your shine.
She literally said she’s going to be doing a tour with Katt Williams. This was advertising for their tour together 😂
*shakes head in shame*
Not shaking Tiddies behind Wyclef and Jessie Woo

Whoever called you ugly is just jealous you’re 1000000000000% my girl crush😻 such a baddie
Whoever has called you ugly is a LIAR and the TRUTH ain’t in them. Your beauty is mesmerizing.
My brown fabulous Empress sista Monique nails her truth and this interview to the point...She is a class act and there's no other like her. She ain't no lier! Monique has integrity, high morals and values. She has strong confidence, intelligence and charisma and beauty. Speak it Monique 👏, you're love and I stand with you my sista!
Listened to that “she ain’t no diva” like 5 times! Sounding great Jessie!
When you said Daddy coming in your language, that made me so sad. You’re a strong woman. ❤
That brought tears to my eyes. I could picture little Jessie and all the children who have and are waiting in anticipation. Meanwhile grandma like 😒
I just started watching but Jessie. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I applaud you on the consistency. I look forward to watching these videos every week.
Jessie Woo being called ugly doesn't even SOUND RIGHT!??! WHAT! you are so breathtakingly beautiful inside AND out!
Jessie please don’t listen to the negative comments about your appearance. You are a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. ❤
LOVE YOU ON DISH NATION TOO ❤
I like when Jessie says, “I am 🇭🇹, I will survive“.
It's just something in the blood.
They love the strong black woman when she is fighting for everyone else, not when she is fighting for herself. As long as we are carrying them everything is fine, but when we complain and don’t want to carry them because our back hurt, they gaslight us and say that we are the problem.
💯💯
That Tiffany Haddish read gave the same energy as Tabitha Brown reading Wendy Williams honey…bless you but don’t play with me and my family 💅🏾
I wish Monique would’ve talked about how 50 cent publicly supported her and said he would hire and actually did. He gave her a recurring role on BMF.
maybe it’s not as it seems. 50 is not a saint, we all know that
Have you noticed how Adam Sandler always makes sure he casts his friends in his productions? Id like to see big name black celebrities do the same...put other people on and that. Love or hate her Monique is an amazing actor and entertainer.
When Monique specifically to Oprah, specifically calls her out on the role in the "Butler" I knew at that exact moment "WE all as a collective" owe @Monique an apology ❤😢❤
Shalida, i am glad i believe her from DAY ONE when in various blogs and youtubes folk were slagging her off .
People never get tired of abusing , gaslighting , terrorizing , brutalizing BW . its a passe-temps a this point.
if i was a woman i think i would have deleted meself out of despair fr fr
Me being more into the video I can say…
The issues are far bigger than 1 person, all of their stories matter and deserve our support but YOU bringing things to the forefront in real time means we need to support you in Real Time!!!!
To hear the challenges that you faced and now be on top. Is a testament to the awesomeness of God and showing up no matter what.
She cleared TIFFANY 😂😂
Tiffany of all people has no right to speak with what’s going on with her duis
As she should
And Shannon messy ass backed it up 🤣🤣🤣😭
57:52 Kevin Hart also allowed his “best friend” JT to go down for extorting him, when it later came out that it was not true. Kevin still hasn’t fixed that situation.
I think Kevin had the intention when he said it but someone spoke to him and he backed out thinking of his own interest and career. That’s why I love 50, he don’t care for these people either.
50 ain’t ish either, down here in Houston selling out to these Rep.. ppl to use n exploit black ppl for a price too TAX FREE.
Oh, I am so spoiled and love it here! Jessie is that sistah!!!
Sooo spoiled. 😊
People making comments about your features can’t even afford to pay for a feature from you. You’re gorgeous and they are broke . We love you Jess !
DL likes to take a lot of shots he's not innocent and for you to say this woman's husband doesn't love her he is just paid to be with her. Your wife should have left you after you cheated on her and the sidechick had a child from you that passed away you said this out of your own mouth but your so moral
I Agree with you 100% ! DL didn't BELIEVE, PROTECT or VALUE his own DAUGHTER. He VALUED HIS SO CALLED FRIEND THAT S.A. HER 🤷♀️ That's a PISS POOR EXCUSE OF A MAN 🤨🤭
He’s a nasty 🤢 piece of word!
DL always seems kinda mean…I like his radio show which made me like him better than in the past . I hate what is happening with Mo’Nique
I watched the interview and it was a really good interview. I didn’t see Shannon ask the same questions more than once. He does an excellent job at interviewing. Period.
What killed me was when she said Oprah took her roles in Lee Daniel’s movies. She lost a role in Empire and The Butler. Oprah took money from her pocket too.
I’m DONE with Oprah
@@nwatson2773I’ve been done with her. I see her for who she is
Oprah probably thought she could win an Oscar with her name as Best or Supporting Actor too!! 😂
Oprah can’t act. Her hopes for an Oscar are def not going to be met. lol
Loved all of this dialogue ! Just finished the Monique interview today and it was everything! Your comments regarding Monique ‘s feeling about her husband - you took the words out of my mouth regarding actions exuded that allow for feminine energy to flourish!
Some of us fear being seen because we learn to be seen is to be vulnerable and to face consequences.
I’m early and I’m living for this consistency of 2024 SESSTERRRR I’M LOVING THIS FOR US❤️❤️❤️❤️

Monique has kept it real and her story does not change. I believe her.
BAM. Never watched you b4 BUT BABY, I TOTALLY ADMIRED your narrative, opinion and FAIR THOUGHTS. The COMPASSION I felt and the hurt that I hurt about Hart letting Mo down.❤❤❤❤
As a Haitian who was raised in Haiti I just wanted to say I'm with you all the way, Jessie! Your unwavering commitment to speaking the truth and standing by your convictions is truly admirable. Thank you for your integrity and honesty! You are a REAL one❤️

Sorry Sis, haters are gonna hate! pa okipe'l, li obsess avek ou!!
Ms Woo you are literally one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Whoever called you unattractive was clearly lying
I loved the Parkers and I would definitely tune in to see Mo'nique on a sitcom. Especially something like the Upshaws on Netflix with Mike Epps.
TF!
Mo has always been that gurla!!!!
I just realized Monique and Jada are cut from the same cloth. Both from B-more, outspoken, big V energy, not afraid to speak their truths and both hated for it. Interesting...
Jada is more manipulative though
They wanna be mad at her for standing up for herself while also being upset at her for being submissive to her man. lol She’s the bread winner so they want to emasculate her man but he can’t be emasculated so they masculate Monique. The goal post is constantly moving.
I truly enjoyed this segment. Monique is a person that does not lie. She always tell the truth
Monique's interview was amazing, real, hilarious and healing! Love ya Jess!! 🤎🥂
Jessie is our queen! Thank you for all you do.
You are far from ugly, Sis. You are gorgeous! I was the “pretty for a dark girl”. I learned that my skin tone only enhances my beauty.
@@tiffanybarefield1227 I agree with you. He could’ve handled the situation a lot better.
It's crazy.
❤❤❤ love when I see her notifications

MO interview was amazing 💯 ❤ just like with Katt ❤ I watched both interviews all the way through and more than once. Respect to both. Not a DL FAN PERIOD haven’t been for a while.
DL has toxic energy
It was an interesting interview. I was shocked that I actually sat there for 3 hours watching it. And this morning I see that the Breakfast Club apologized. Lil late but glad they did it in the same public space they did their dirty
People can say what they want about Mo'Nique but you cannot deny she's an amazing Black woman. She's beautiful, intelligent and funny as hell! One of the funniest comedienne's we've ever witnessed. AND her husband stands ten toes down beside her. I don't always agree with everything she says (which is totally normal) but that woman is a force. She deserves protection and support. She always has.
I had even more reapect when monique said that shes gonna stand strong with her man standing stronge beside her👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Girrrrl, I watched the whole 3 hour interview!! It did go by so quickly & I learned some things I didn’t know about her
It was in my yard many years ago that I listened to Monique and her hubby discussing her issues with Tyler, Oprah and Lee... I believed her then and still do today.
Bringing up someone's looks does not and will never negate the fact that truth is being told. D.L. looked ridiculous.
