I think that your one of my favorite colorist because of the time you take to explain things and how you make beginners like myself very comfortable. Thank you💕
I love how your fish turned out. I love that they just had a single fish in this book. I loved coloring the double spread in the original book but I love the chance to color the fish again but trying something different without having to tackle a double page spread again.
Beautiful piece....I love your work. I appreciate the speed color, with voice-over. Today I chanced upon this book at a book store and I cannot wait to get started. It's quite intimidating but your videos are extremely helpful! Thanks Claire.
The UK version is just lovely.I got my U.S. version late March and I love the examples in the front and the pictures he choose.I had no Kerby books so this was wonderful.Great video👍
I just took a screenshot of the page with the wolf. I have Wondermorphia. I'm going to attempt drawing the second half of it into the book so I can colour the whole thing. I love Kerby Rosanes artwork. Your fish looks amazing 💖
Absolutely beautiful, my dear! I loved this so much! I can't wait to try the sunlight shading in the water. As always, you enormously inspire me 💗 Blessings
I have the US edition and the spine opens nice and flat. I have found in the previous US versions of his books there was a white line down the middle of the spine and it wasn't bound very well. Michael O'Mara books have sewn spines and they are usually much better. I really love the paper in the US version and I think this may be the first of all of his books that I don't need to buy the UK version.
HOLY BEANS!! CLAIRE UR WORK IS BEAUTIFUL!! I COULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO COLOR IN BOOK LIKE THIS EVER! I WOULD BE SO NERVOUS ,THE ARTWORK IS SO INTRICATE. AND U KNO JUST HOW TO MATCH UR COLORS. SOO GORGEOUS 💙💙💙
Colouring has really helped me during my A-levels as a way to de-stress and your videos are my favourite to watch when I can’t get home and get the prismacolours out, Thank you!!
I got my US version of this book today, which was ironic as you just started the Blog post. I can’t wait to see what all the artist come up with. Congratulations on being his first artist in the series. The fish looks awesome by the way. Love your work. 💖🐟
Oh Claire your Betta Fish was simply wonderful!! I got super lucky and found this at Walmart. I just haven't plucked up the courage to color anything in it
Loved the fish you coloured in and the way you made the rays of he sun. Iv just got my copy of the book bet mine won’t look as good as yours. Love you posts. Thanks.
Great review Claire! Absolutely adored your finished picture too. I'm glad I brought the US edition of this book I prefer this one over the UK edition due to the paper it's thicker. I promised myself next time I brought one of his books I would buy the US edition as his last two books in UK were thin. Thanks again I love your channel very informative. x
What a fantastic idea. Great for kids, grandkids and adults as well. Good for those long car journeys, to keep the children happy. All contained within it self.
I want to thank you for your hard work and effort. I have downloaded your colourcharts on your blog. They are so good. They give me really good practicing of clouring and blending. Also to get to know the pencils and how they work. I´ve just started with the Faber Castell colour combinations. Thank you again.
WOW, great coloring. It turned out so cool. I love it. I do plan to buy this book the next time I order a coloring book. Kurby truely makes dreamy art. Especially when a colorist like you brings them to life. TYFS
I quite like this tutorial Claire. You did a great job. I'm going to try something like this on my own artwork. Great work. I quite like that. The book itself is beautiful. I have 2 of Kerby's books- Imagimorphia and Mythomorphia. I personally love using my Prismacolor Premier pencils and Crayola markers in the books. I can't afford very expensive products like the Polychromos and such, however I do like bright colours. I have found that you can blend some with the crayola markers as well. I like your videos Claire. Take care.
Claire, it was awesome! I loved this color selection! I have Kerby's books but now I feel I need to get this one anyway! It would be fun to re-do some of the old favorites! PS You missed a few bubbles at the bottom from that one fish - wonder if you would do bubbles or leave them blended in like you did? I always love to add bubbles!!!
12:48 Late comment but I didn't see anyone mention it - this is a kitsune (ki-tsu-neh) from Japanese mythology. The more tails a fox has, the older and wiser it is. It was indeed the inspiration for the Vulpix and Ninetails pokemon line :)
Wow I loved how it turned out. This is the first video that I seen of yours but I have now subscribed. Just one question, how would you say the paper thickness of the UK version of this book compares to the UK version of Mythomorphia (if you have it of course)? Thank you.
Thanks for all the details Claire! Definitely going for the UK edition to match the others I have. 😊 Also I like the blue ribbon on the side better than the rainbow coloured title. I’m curious though of something your didn’t mention: how is the binding in the US edition? Usually US colouring books are just glued which I hate and found really cheap and fragile. That’s what I usually go for UK editions (it’s the case for JB’s books) for example
I love the line work but my heart is thumping in my chest LOL how on earth do you tackle the intricate bits. Have you done a vid on how one would tackle it in the way that you do it.? Thank for the flick through
@colourwithclaire OMG, thank you for your Colour creation & inspiration. I have just ordered the American version of Colormorphia cuz the yhicker paper, plus being Dyslexic, black on white blurs or like spiders on the page. So I prrfer Ivory pages. I have also ordered a set of 36 Prisma Colour Pencils, with 36 canvas Pencil wrap. Also, found an excellent USB charged Electric Derwent Easer and Retractable Eraser, perfect. As well as a USB pencil sharpener, as am fed up with using usual pencil shapener braking leads, which wastes the core/pigment in the center of pencils. Thank you for your amazing colouring. Love the pic you coloured in ColorMorphia perfect! I will send pics to you and post in my colour page in fb. I look forward to see you in your next colour with claire video xxx 💜✌🎨
Hey Claire. Great video and channel! I'm an illustrator looking to work on my next colouring book and I have some questions I'd love to get your thoughts on- I'll shoot over to your site and ask them there rather than clog up your comments feed :)
Just listened to you talking about the doodles, they sort of drive me mad sometimes so I remove them, I colour over them or black them out. Sometimes I make them all one colour and just pick out an outline with white. Depends a lot on the picture.
Hello New to your channel. I tried your tip on using the ruler to make the beams. For my 1st time I don't think I did that bad of a job. My Beta was a yellow green one. I did # ya in my post on Instagram. If you want to see it. Thank you for teaching an ole dog a new trick. LOL You make it look easier then what it was to do. I used Gel pens for my Beta The Pentel Sparkle Pops. He looks kinda neat. I think. Thanks again. Have a great day!
Love your picture love his art and don’t know what to do with his doodles at times here in the US his first edition of animorphia paper was not as thick as the copy I bought my friend this week my copy is like 2 or so years old I find I like the thicker paper and more tooth to grab my pencils but I am still learning so until I got better at coloring it sat on a shelve lol
Also I always give you a thumbs up 👍 you are great even though yea I would sit through a long color in real time / color along because I learn better that way I can totally see why u speed it up though.
Valerie, I have that same edition with the thin paper. I can seem to color OK in it but I am afraid to do the pages where there is spaces to draw in it because I am afraid it will show through. It's such a shame they used such thin paper.
Debbie N. Hello I agree I have all the other books but this one paper too thin I think I am going to get the 20 posters and hope with this Daniel Smith watercolor ground I can use the book if not I will just use the posters although of course a lot of the pics I like were not the ones chosen !
As soon as you added a new element into an already hyper-detailed background, you LOST the fish as the FOCAL point it should be... Using colors of the same intensity also helped to cancel out the fish. No idea why you made those choices, but they weren’t fun to watch!

These kind of books/pages are so intimidating to me. So when I see one colored, I'm in awe
❤⚘

You are SO talented. That fish is the most gorgeous drawing I ever saw. Amazing.

Good Morning Ms. Claire it is so Amazing to watch your coloring tutorial. I always wanted to purchase Kerbys book but was scared to even try it.
Oh Claire your Betta Fish was simply wonderful!! I got super lucky and found this at Walmart. I just haven't plucked up the courage to color anything in it
Beth Myers Same!
Loved the fish you coloured in and the way you made the rays of he sun. Iv just got my copy of the book bet mine won’t look as good as yours. Love you posts. Thanks.
This was so much fun, just what I needed to de-stress. Would you do a video showing how you color a mandala , choose the colors etc.?
I absolutely love your videos!! I have watched them all!!! And have purchased many of the items I have reviewed!!
Great review Claire! Absolutely adored your finished picture too. I'm glad I brought the US edition of this book I prefer this one over the UK edition due to the paper it's thicker. Love your color palette and the sun rays!👍
Fabulous Fish! Using the French grey on the bits and bobs was brilliant
Excellent job on the fish, and the sun rays as well!!
WOW, great coloring. It turned out so cool. I love it. I do plan to buy this book the next time I order a coloring book. Kurby truely makes dreamy art. Especially when a colorist like you brings them to life. TYFS
great colouring & review, thank you Claire. Loved the background

I love the way it turned out Claire. Thank you for an enjoyable video.

Yes it's the same x
@@ColourwithClaire Thank you 😊
Wonderful review and I love your finished picture, the rays turned out great! 💖💖💖
Gorgeous book! Especially those coloured pictures in the beginning are a big inspiration!
how is the binding in both editions? Sometimes pages get loose when binding is glued.
Another 150 perfect techniques to try out. I sooooo appreciate your tutorials.
Thanks for all the details Claire! Definitely going for the UK edition to match the others I have. 😊 Also I like the blue ribbon on the side better than the rainbow coloured title. Loved it! Learned a lil more about color choice and how to shadow...thank you!
I love the line work but my heart is thumping in my chest LOL how on earth do you tackle the intricate bits. Have you done a vid on how one would tackle it in the way that you do it.? Thank for the flick through
Love this! What kind of sharpener are you using in this video?
Absolutely stunning! Did a really good job. Coloring the other things the basic colors worked out perfect. I love it! ❤❤❤

Awesome coloring. Thank you.
10:44 I think it's a quilin/ kirin: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin
I loved this video and it turned out gorgeous!
I just bought the Colormorphia coloring book (in the US).
There are less pages in the US edition
Can you list ALL his books?
Animorphia, Imagimorphia, Mythomorphia, Fantamorphia, Geomorphia.
Love your color choices
I ordered the US edition instead of getting the UK one as the paper seemed much better and thicker
Beautiful. Great work and I enjoyed the video.
absolutely stunning, loved every minute, and the grey's were the perfect colour choice
Just listened to you talking about the doodles, they sort of drive me mad sometimes so I remove them, I colour over them or black them out. Sometimes I make them all one colour and just pick out an outline with white. Depends a lot on the picture.
Absolutely gutted that this is another amazing book that isnt single sided pictures :( great review and love the Beta
gorgeous coloring😍👏👏👏

Excellent video! The book is terrific also.
BG in TX..😍🖍💗😍💗🖍
It’s my first Kerry book! 😀

Magnifique BRAVO
Your sun rays are gorgeous, I wonder if they get a bit wider at the bottom and a bit softer? They do look stunning and your fish is lovely
Yes I think you're right x
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Would love to win a copy of Masja's Mandalas "Spring". Thanks!
WOW this is Stunning 🤩
Really love this book!
OMG Claire!!! Wonderfully Beautiful...😎
Love it you are an artist
FANTASTIC ART 🐶
Great review
Hello, it is beautiful.
Thank you so much!
That looks amazing!!!!! X
These morphia books being double sided prints is the only downfall
Fantastic!!
As soon as you added a new element into an already hyper-detailed background, you LOST the fish as the FOCAL point it should be... Using colors of the same intensity also helped to cancel out the fish. No idea why you made those choices, but they weren’t fun to watch!
I'm sorry you feel that way, I'm very happy with how it turned out.
