Ive just picked up a 93 XJ900F with 22k original miles on it , imported from the UK to Ireland in 2012 and sat in a older guys shed for a decade, had to bring it back to life, everything was seized, brakes, tyres flat etc, got it back to life wow what a cracking machine, a classic, great to see these bikes still on the road, dont sell it!!! They aint worth much at the moment, im keeping this as its in such good condition, dont make em like this anymore! Cheers for the videos, been a great help and really enjoyed em!! All the best Marc

@burp1234 Hi Marc, thank you for the nice comment. As you say, a cracking machine. I'm really enjoying getting it back on the road, I just love how it rides. 22k on yours, that's very low mileage, sounds quite the find. Well done for getting another classic back on the road.

@@10MilMoto its too nice to part with and got it for a song, drives like new, even had its original hand book in the back seat, total barn find , im beyond lucky!! same colour as yours, its only issue is the exhaust is fairly rotten underneath, common problem.

I seemed to get lucky with the exhaust. It has some rott underneath, but once cleaned up and treated regularity with ACF50, it should be ok for a few more years. Your bike sounds a real find.

Looks and sounds great! I’ve only ever ridden the XJ750, a long time ago. Recently I picked up not one, but two, XJ900Fs as project bikes! The first one is nearly finished after a complete nut and bolt strip down. I’m totally re-styling it to a naked classic look with no fairing, a round headlight and Acewell speedo, wire wheels and XJR1200 fuel tank. It will hopefully still have the soul of the original, but will look totally different. It’s a good solid bike to work on and nicely engineered.

@tribsa7503 That sounds fantastic, a great concept, I hope it comes together nicely for you.

Nice job, unfortunately the amount of work involved never reflects in the value of the bike, it's definitely a labour of love, well worth doing though it's a lovely bike, I have been thinking of going back to one myself .

@@thewiltshirerider01 it's very rewarding, saving another bike. It will look amazing once finished.
