    Another episode could be what to do in the off season to handle 3 days a week of elastic work that volleyball players do in season. I’m guessing a mixture of strength training and progressing jump volume towards the end of off season and progressing pre season jump count slowly. Also it’s possible in season to have low and high jump count days. Such as Tuesday high intensity, Thursday low intensity, game day high intensity. Sort of like how high vs low days are programmed for baseball pitching for VLO. I also guess like baseball some players can handle 2 high intensity sessions vs 1 high then more medium. I wonder about using a longer meso cycle of 9/10 days but then being so individual to the athlete isn’t practical as the coach will have a certain plan for practice and having some athletes on 7 days and 10 day cycles could be tricky.

    Question: when you play pickup basketball how do you incoroporate it into your training? Do you do it on the days you would have general days or do youalways do iton jump days and then jump after you play? Just curiuos how you structure it because it would be useful to know for me. Thank you for everything you do.

    Hi Isaiah! I have one question. How do i start my first deload week? Do i have to reduce my volume or intensity of my jump training? Or do i have to reduce the weight that i lift on lift sessions?

    Is 3x a week for something like volleyball a workable schedule for a healthy athlete?
    Can you stay healthy on a 3x a week and is it possible to make any progress during something like that?

    Can you do something about diet? Like what is good, are there some super foods, what are you eating when?

    • @DhsmmsKalz
      @DhsmmsKalz 27 днів тому

      examples of super food are chia seeds,eggs, sea moss. Creatine is also important because it increases muscle mass and muscle explosiveness (creatine is NOT a steroid)

    Is jumping higher genetics?

    • @boracebecioglu9563
      @boracebecioglu9563 25 днів тому

      Where you start from, how fast you progress and where you hit your ceiling are genetic. Assuming you are +5'9 there is definitely hope for dunking even with not so optimal genetics
