- Monument Valley is on the border of Arizona and Utah on Navajo Tribal land.
It's worth driving down onto the valley floor to get a closer look. The Buttes reach up to 1000 feet into the air off the valley floor.
One of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas on the face of the planet!!! Always makes me proud to be a lifelong Utahn!
I have been there a long time ago. Good memories. At least I can say I lived in a time when traveling and seeing the world was still possible.
Remember when it was a hassle to take your shoes off before flights?
Don't worry travel will return. I can't leave Canada at the moment but will travel across Canada this summer. At least I can finally see this place.
@@koolbuildings7916 I do remember how it was when the whole thing started in 2001. Looking back that was a joke compared to what we have now.
Been there too. Utah has a campaign to visit five in five days. I think there’s a website on it
I'm getting vibes from the Micheal Douglas movie "Beyond the Reach" here...

Did you see any UFOs when you were there? 🛸
Not there but outside Yuma.
There are too many people swarming the national parks and natural attractions....like ants swarming around an ant mound if you kick it......that's why i stay away, it defeats the purpose....you want some advice? Look on the internet and listen to people talking about the best places to visit, then go somewhere else.
There are of course many great state parks that no one visits.
