    Life could be so easy if we are candid in all situations. This short video of how to give feedback at the workplace is so excellent and worthy of emulation. The link was sent by a professor as an assignment for the management concepts class. Great job.

    Bought the book! I've really been candid a lot to empower folks. It's difficult to tell a boss when she gives feedback or direction it isn't receptive to me when i feel belittled or lost.

    Hello Shari,
    I want to sincerely thank you so much for this video and the great information you have presented about feedback. I am currently in a space where we are being trained to be young professionals, and as you said, the two key factors I have identified within your talk is the need to have communication and courage. Now part of our training is to give professional feedback in a safe workplace setting, and I am so grateful that I came across this video as I believe I will use this information and the one from your book to harness that skill.     Nice. Thanks. I like the no nonsense approach you have.Btw - would love to have the "you smell" example piggy backed on the "you wear too much perfume" example. Those issues are even more potentially damaging (e.g. chemical sensitivity) than some unpleasant b.o.

    Nice talk, love the topic and examples. You have made a difficult topic easier to understand and made us realize that we all may struggle at times. I especially like how you Keep it simple and make sure we realize that we should expect to have to have more feedback sessions since we can't break a habit over night.

    You do have good approaches in giving feedbacks to employees, but i must say that in most black african countries, relating to employees is rather being offensive but in anyways, i have derived better approaches from your video. Behaviours while seeking for a job is also a key thing on must take into cognizance, most of our young men and women need to really take their time to learn the dos and donts of seeking for jobs. Also dressing neat and looking good should be one of the top priority to avoid odour oozing from the employees's body.

      Thanks for your comments. I do agree that my methods may need to be tailored based on cultural differences. What works in the US may not work in Africa or Asia. Best of luck being candid!
