ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

This might be her best song after all... I've never seen a pop artist start off their new era with a ballad and then transition smoothly into something fun and colorful just 24 hours after the ballad's release. A lot of artists would not make such a bold choice because they want their first single to be played on radios and everywhere. I must say I'm really impressed by this new selena, i love the song and i'm looking forward to hearing the new album!!

This song is surprisingly a great ballad. Not cheesy or overly sentimental like Celine Dion or other generic artists. But not her best yet. Bad Liar still remains as her greatest track to date. Its lyrics and production are just on another level. Her upcoming album seems very promising.
M 40 ahh... that’s why it doesn’t follow a normal song pattern... and it’s more impacting this way as a raw, emotional piece of art... so, did they record in Billie’s bedroom? Lol

She sounds her best live just seating at a piano and singing. Look up Transformation Selena Gomez live.
Her voice does best when its a soft whispery tone. Live, Doesn’t do well with dancing singing. Its nice she chose this ❤️ I hope she does more of this.
It’s been so frustrating the poor vocal trainers she’s worked with who have misguided her so she ends up not singing well live.
I think since "Revival" she's understood her voice better and her limits and how to use it.
@@TheDevilsReject2785 autotune got also a lot better since then. You can hear clearly they are using it. for my ears way to to much. Dont like the sound. I like the rough sound somone is able to to create not with help by programms. (can she sing: yes! did they use autotune: yes! question: Why?)
Yeah she really knows what her voice can and can't do. I'm so proud of her for improving even with all the hate.
She has dramatically improved. There was a Same Old Love performance that I thought was really good and she was moving around.
The only reason she sounded a little rough at the vma is bc she was crying. She can do very well dancing n singing

The lyric about being replaced after 2 months just hits different from the rest think everyone at one point has felt that awful pain 😥
Justin got with his wife 2 months after Selena and him broke up. Selena was in the hospital trying to get a new kidney for a transplant because Lupus made her kidney fail. I think she was recovering from the transplant or something when he got married. They were together like 9 years off and on before this! I cant imagine how badly she probably needed him during that time.

Yes but he was toxic I’m glad we aren’t together anymore! But when we first broke up it did bug me he replaced me in two days and proposed and got her pregnant within two months... definitely felt like I wasted 7 years of my life but I definitely learned from it! This song hits home for me! She did a very great job of expressing how she was feeling at the time and I love that she’s finally learned to love herself! It’s a long journey from recovering from a toxic relationship and I understand why it took her so long to talk about it.
Damn I wonder what be going though a persons mind that can be with someone for years but as soon as they move on they are Inlove and wana marry them ...hasn’t happened to me and I hope it never does that would be terrifying
This song is so vulnerable and emotional! I’m not usually a big fan of Selena, but I dig this one. I kind of find myself getting lost in the melody and wishing it was longer lol. Great reaction! #freehugs

Can't believe the progress since the shit disney put her through - from what i can tell they were trying to force her into their vocal box instead of properly training her, which made for good studio work but lack of breath support and a disconnect(from what I personally hear and heard over the years) from her like core when singing. Yeah, live it's been kinda hard at times w her performances but like, come on. Four years of consistent work at being comfortable w her art and training to put herself back in a better spot? AND all this time shes been dealing w mental health stuff, physical health stuff? Let's just appreciate how incredible her new work is when it comes to melody and artistic execution, and I'm still pretty wowed 🤩
no this is by far my favourite performance from her. simple, raw, exposed. the LAYERING OF THE CHORAL LINE AT THE END HAD ME WEEPING this honestly sounds like a SIA track i am beyond impressed with selena she really proved that she is beyond that lovestruck-then-heartbroken disney pop princess image SHE IS AN ARTIST GOD BLESS

I loved this album because if you have ever been hurt, you were able to relate. Like it reminds me of my ex and part of my family who just are negative. Like she says at the end that chapter is closing and it is the end of us.
