Jamie and John's increased involvement plus the addition of Polly and Rebekah to the band has taken their songs to a new level. It might be barely noticeable to some but seeing them rely less on backing tracks and lean more towards playing all the instruments organically as much as possible (such as in TOOTIME) really makes them shine individually and as a band.
I live for these comments, people who see past the cosmetics of the band and recognise how well crafted the songs are and the subtle parts that add to the dynamics

Rebekah is the other percussionist beside George and Polly is the one who sings Carly's part in About You apart from Toronto and London where Carly showed up.

My ex boyfriend associated me with this song, specifically the bridge part. My heart aches every time About You comes on shuffle but I keep the song on repeat because it feels painfully good to know that he connected me with such a beautiful masterpiece.
