I stayed up to 26 days in qatar, and i can tell it is one of the most friendly . in the Gulf region. The country is well built ,managed, and secured . It is family centric, and special considerations are given to families even in trains,buses, and tramps . I love to go back soon, but this time, permanently . I miss the evening metro tea and the generosity of the qatari . May Almighty Allah continue to bless the country and their visionary leaders .

I worked in the top oil and gas industry in Qatar from 2007-2010. Salaries were the juiciest ranging from $2,200 to $3,020 then. Recently visited Doha with family, daughter loved it! So, she asked if we could move there for a few years. If the right opportunity arises, I'd consider moving there. I assured her. By the way, I happen to be an expat science educator currently employed at a prestigious British-branded international school in China. Any Qatar opportunities, send them my way! Incompetent leadership but also many African countries are still suffering from what Europeans did to them. Countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia made deals with West. This propelled them financially. I first stepped into Qatar in 2007 when I was on transit from Kenya to the U.S. I was trying out Qatar air for the first time and the airline put us up in a 5 star hotel for 24 hrs. There was alot of construction going on then. After the experience, I have visited and it's my transit of choice.
I just came back from Qatar. One of the best places I’ve visited. Definitely top tier and the food is FANTASTIC. I hope you had a chance to check out banana island.
I love Qatar. I lived there for a year, and worked there as a contractor for the military. I stay in a huge villa, right across from their soccer stadium and huge mall, just outside of city center. I was like 15 minutes from downtown. I enjoyed every day out there.

You should have mentioned that Qatar refused to join the formation of United Arab Emirates in 1971 they decided to remain independent. Look at them now they are doing very well , very rich in oil ans gas, very successful nation. Also if you buy a property in Qatar worth 730,000 qatari riyal you get residency but only in designated areas .

Had a llong stopover at the qatar airport during the world cup and it was really nice. watched argentina vs france (cant really remember) and the atmosphere was insane. i will visit qatar for sure as it has always been one of my fav countries for a long time
Traveling allows you to view the real world with your own eyes, but staying in one location too long turns a place into the entire globe, thus I've always encouraged most people to travel for exposure. Qatar is small but mighty. Another crazy Vid from our Stevem 👍
