@@jasonadams3521 It isn't the same though mate. I love T In The Park i was there in 2003 REM headlined Idelwild, love it there. But Kasabian are just terrible with Serge tring too hard to be a frontman it just doesn't work..
@@Greenypeter fair enough mate. I was there that year as well. REM were amazing as were massive attack. I saw kasabian in 2022 for the first time without tom and it was good but you could see serge wasn't 100% comfortable but this year i thought they were amazing, rob harvey from the music was a great addition too. Also saw tom in a tiny pub in paisley a couple of weeks after and he was also amazing.

Ex dukin zactly man that just blew my socks off that vid there, who there knew wat they would go on to b fucking mind blowing man anybody saying its still kasabian goin to 1 a the gigs now needs 1 in the nut man no tom no kasabian lol his mrs deserved it anyway lol
Any bass players know how to get that tone on Club Foot here? Is it a specific pedal before or after the amp? I can't seem to emulate it with a distortion pedal.
Damn, the bass on Club Foot sounds exactly like the record. Rare occurrence. Wish the flanger was turned down on the guitar though (I'm assuming it was Serge's)
That's cos it's being played by Chris Karloff.. he left the band before the release of second album, so any live performance after that wouldn't have sounded the same.
Wish they didnt fire Karloff, he had an edge that none of the others have. Tom and karloff should get together since Serge shafted Tom. Serge as lead singer? Never gonna see them live again.
man i wish they would reunite with karloff and tom, and make something like the first album
Without Meighan and Karloff, they should’ve called it a day.
19 year old me is in there somewhere ❤
Lucky
@@annabalashova6417 gonna be in there again on the 9th November 😎

Chris karloff is kasbian
You fucking know it 💪. Never the same after he left
@@reniisgod yes mate! Which is why the first album is the only album I actually like haha
@@JakobBath The tunes he co-wrote with Serge on Empire just before he left are decent too. Stuntman being a prime example.
Agreed, they totally lost the plot after he left.

I was in there somewhere! Great gig! Thanks for posting.
thank you for sharing first steps of my beloved
This is such a great little set :) They sounds awesome, thanks for posting!
Nice! Saw them in Philadelphia 04/05!
2004 didn't seem like that long ago until I seen this video 😂

Does Karloff still make any music? Kasabian was never the same again after he left.
His band called Black Onassis
@@annabalashova6417 I don't think that project is a thing anymore. They barely put anything out with it even when they were "active".
Have no idea how they still call themselves kasabian without Tom and Chris.
Not the same band
It was all downhill from then.

@@rtraktsdn1197 to be fair a lot of Chris K ones don't sound very close, and at their 2014 Summer Solstice gig Chris E's tone was really close
@@iliketrains3495 omd the bass for that summer solstice gig was so nice
They Were the Next Oasis in Their Early Days
Much much bigger than oasis
Deadest crowd ive ever seen such a good track
This was 2004, no one would have heard of them

This needs to happen . The real kasabian , the one that was lost when Karloff left/ sacked . Serge can eat his cake now .
