Camping In Propane Heated Tent

- I went camping this week with Crazy Neighbor in the new insulated ice fishing shelter. We used the big buddy heater to keep us warm. It was an interesting adventure as always. I realized I hadn't done a full overview of the propane heated setup.

Also. This is so heart warming. Two friends supporting each other in a time of loss. Tossing back a couple and having a night in the woods.
Yup living the dream
It really is. All the stresses of the world melt away. In that moment that's all they need. They have enough. All needs are met
👍❤
And Crazy Neighbor is right there with Steve when the situation is turned around. Amazing friendship
❤❤
I found the best part of winter camping is watching someone else do it. I just go directly to step 2. Cheers!
Best comment EVER!!
Agreed 🍻
Lol
Good one 👍🏻
I was already at step 4 when video posted😂😂
Easy to use right out the box ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAvrAfikbUEMthp3AZ6iX5FKdiHfzy_RP . Next step is to get a heat activated fan to move the heat. I'm impressed by how long it can go on 1 lbs of propane at the low setting which lasted more than 6hrs. You'll have to adjust it lower than the low setting. Used for personal heating at 30° to 50° at low setting in an open garage, it's quite comfortable. It would warm up a good size single car garage if its closed off.
Thanks so much for keeping the random conversations in the video. Makes it so real and kind of feels like I'm there with you guys. Love it
❤❤❤❤I 100% agree❤❤❤❤
Love Crazy Neighbor. He doesn't say all that much, but when he does it's always profound, enlightening, and entertaining. Condolences about his father...
He is like the “Silent Bob” to Steve’s “Jay”
I died when Crazy Neighbor used, ACTUALLY USED A LEAF BLOWER 🍃 to spray the snow ❄ away so Steve could cut ✂️ down the weeds for a fire pit!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤👍
Then you should hear my words of wisdom when I’m hammered

.... You ever seen a UFO? 😂
I wasn’t expecting that, thought it was pretty funny 🤣
And then he was like... "Uhhhh. Yeah. I have.."

Have you ever seen a grown man naked? Do you like movies about gladiators?
Crazy Neighbor seems like such a great guy. It really makes me sad to think of how he must’ve felt when this video was filmed. I hope he’s doing ok. We love you Crazy Neighbor 💙
I’m sorry for your loss
Crazy neighbour is a lovely character. Condolences to him for his loss. From London uk X
From Cambodia 🇰🇭
Condolences to crazy neighbor and his family. He seems like a legit good dude.
Couple of y’all know that I lost my adult daughter a little over a year ago, right about the time I discovered Steve and his crazy neighbor:)
I’m so fortunate to meet Steve and his community, and I hope to be camping stealthily soon! I enjoy your adventures, and you provide me with strength even before Step 2!

@@Expo- hey Don, hope you've had time to go on a couple adventures this summer. Been a hot one!! Hope you're well.
"They got that weasel that predicts the weather"
Hahahaha the way he said that was almost malicious, like the thing Steve hates most is groundhogs
I think Canada does a weasel
I laughed and laughed after he said that. 😹
I had to replay it because I thought so to haha
That’s okay, Steve, I feel the same way.
Really like how you added some candid conversation to this one Steve. Makes the audience feel like they are hanging out with you right there..
TEXAS WILL BE TAKING NOTES ON HIS EXPERIENCE FOR WINTER CAMPING
The sitting around the fire in silence and then asking CN a random question bit is my new favorite thing.
Same
“What could possibly go wrong?” Love it! Slow and mellow, the way I like it. And what is better than a camping trip, good friends, beer, and a hearty meal when one is grieving the loss of a loved one? You guys are the best!
When Crazy Neighbor said “cheers Steve!”... I felt that
Glad Crazy Neighbour was with a good friend when getting the news, hope he and his family are holding up.
thank you I could not think of a better place to be than with Steve at the time He is a stand up guy
It is nice in life when you accidentally stumble into a genuine soul like Neighbor and even better yet when you can help them through tough times.
You said it, Bro...
The simple meals Steve makes while camping always seem like they’d be so satisfying, especially after a day of setting up in cold conditions like this. In the context of a camping trip, these are gourmet meals prepared by the master chef Steve!
theres always just so much flavor and beef and potatoes, its so filling and warm looking. ugh and now im starving at 4am trying to fall asleep
Haha same here tyler
That is very funny Tyler. I too feel similarly, as well.
“Hold my beer”

Famous last words haha
UA-cam is slow on the processing today, don't worry.. the uploaded video is 4K, it's just taking some time to process on their end. It's normally pretty instant, but not today for some reason.
I’ll watch it 360 for you buddy 🤣
I guess so because I could only get 360p.
I'll wait for it to render in 4K, but after the news about Crazy Neighbour's father and everything, I just want to say I'm happy you're back this week and I've saved a Step Two for this occasion. Hope it processes soon!
already watched it in 360 steve, still enjoyed it though
@@mattspence2059 me too lol just finished up
Steve and Crazy Neighbor are gems of human beings.
They certainly are in my book as well! I was checking Steve's sub. #'s, and just blown away by that, of just some guys out camping! BUT, the Stealth part he did first, really hooked me! Congrats , Steve, u guys ARE a solid!
You ever see a ufo? That part was hilarious very random question haha
They sure are.
Yup. The best!!
I literally LOL'd when Steve said hold my beer. 🤣 Great times. My sincere condolences to you Crazy Neighbor on losing your dad. I know all too well the pain of losing a parent.
IKR.... Hold my beer....that's usually a redneck thing. I know....I am one. 😄
"They got that weasel that predicts the weather and whatever it was supposed to see, it saw..."
lmao
Yep that broke me 😂😂
The hard cut to “you ever eaten a lemon like an orange?” had me rolling 😆
Lemons really aren't that bad, not great but not bad. Try eating a lime like that though, way worse!
Remote winter camping with a buddy and step 2's in a nutshell lol. "Hey ya ever notice..."
I will eat a lemon down to the rind and pips. Tart > Sweet.
19:15
@@alexiswilson3769 Ive noticed the sours disappears and you can actually taste the sweetness of the lemon, but its like you gotta overload your tastes buds with the sour to get there, or they get accustomed and you can truelly appreciate the flavour of the lemon then.
I thoroughly enjoyed the small conversations with crazy neighbor. He’s such an interesting person I hope he is doing well!
This is so soothing two good friends hanging out. I'm so depressed today . I'm thankful for this channel
Whatever it is, it usually gets better. Hang in there bud. You’re not alone. This channel has kept me relatively sane during these crazy unpredictable times.
My goal after we figure out some solution to Covid is definitely to head up to Canada and do some camping, maybe play a little hockey. Who knows what the future holds, but I try to think positive!
@@nofxdan0 Thank you. I appreciate your reply. I wish we could all be better . But I'll keep going and fighting. Much peace

I love the relaxed atmosphere you create with all your videos I’ve seen so far. You both are great👍 thank you
The random questions about the UFO and the lemon were great enough but the fact that Crazy Neighbour answered yes to both made this epic!!!!
No doubt bro!!
“A weasel that predicts weather” 😄
That's called a weatherman. 🤣🤣
Biden?
Lol, is it a weasel in Canada? Maybe a beaver?
I live near Wiarton and a weasel would be so much more appropriate as a town mascot
Phil!
I’m watching this curled up on my couch at 1am. For some reason I find this super entertaining and relaxing. Thanks for the videos!
I really love that you included that moment where everyone at the fire is just sortof staring at the food, soaking it all in. One of my favorite micro-experiences when camping.
I hope crazy neighbor is doing well half a year later, I want to be more like him.
I was a little nervous when Steve said "hold my beer."
🤣🤣🤣👍 yepp!!
Me, too...but I'm still laughing 😆
famous last words lol
Ha ha ha I caught that too! These guys are great together.
The random question about the UFO made me laugh so hard he caught me off guard LOL
I was hoping steve also had a cool ufo story
Heart warming, wholesome and entertaining. Always a pleasure to watch these two.
We all need a crazy neighbor in our lives. Thanks steve and condolences to crazy. Love from Montana ❤
When Steve asked Crazy Neighbor if he's ever seen a UFO, somehow I just knew the answer would be yes.
You know, I too have seen one a long time ago, in 1975.
LMFAOOOO honestly I misjudged him cause I thought he’d go off about aliens but he used the term ufo very literally
Hell yeah 😂😂😂
I saw a UFO in 94' in New Orleans. Slow moving , clear as day.
I want this to be a thing where Steve just asks neighbor random questions out of the blue. Like, "Do you think giants ever existed?" Hahaha.
I think they definitely existed
100%
Ahhhhhh the existential camp fire♨️
This really needs to happen!
They're just so sweet sitting around the campfire talking together that's why his channel does so good he needs to do some more of this talking with crazy neighbor around the campfire that makes people want to watch this channel it makes you feel like you're among family it gives you a family bond a good feeling a happy feeling it's a wonderful wonderful UA-cam program
One of my favorite videos of Steve's camping and it was great to see two friends out on a great camp trip.
One of my favorite things about camping with Steve is there’s none of that bow drill or primitive fire starting crap. Bust out the torch!
He inspired me to do that from now on Camping.
Its the best when he said I'm going to bushcraft a fire and he pulls out the flamethrower and starts the fire.
Me too. I watch the others, but it always feels like homework more than fun. These guys are fun, and I still learn some things from Steve. I'm sure Steve could "survive" just fine without the tent, and blow torch though.
Yeah man , he just gets er done!!
Steve: You ever seen a UFO?
Crazy Neighbor: Uh...yeah
Soon as he started pondering what he's going to answer with, I damn well knew he was going to say yes hahah. I got a good chuckle.
Unidentified flying object. Sure saw that.
Next episode: Steve attempts stealth camping inside a UFO...and teach it to 👾👽!
Crazy neighbor is definitely the type that you know is going to answer yes to that question. Me I would have just said "hey crazy neighbor tell us about the ufo's". Lol
The crazier part was when he said he eats lemons like an orange
Late to viewing but really like this episode a lot - neat to see you hanging with your neighbor who also seems really nice. Very cool setup you have there with the propane heater and stew pot - looks like a great time!
I’m sorry for your loss Mr. Neighbor. This video showed what friends are all about. I’m glad you two have each other.
Crazy neighbors answer was quite sane when you asked him about seeing an UFO!
@Wild Bill Maybe with the extra internet, Steve will get the idea and make a second channel, "Chats with Steve and Crazy Neighbour". ;)
them darn aliens, i hate those green dudes
yoyo bring a milk crate for the buddy heater, it fits inside it for transportation, and then u put it on top of it for use
That’s a good idea. Keep the CO detector and fuel in there as well
@@devilselbow very true. I was thinking more for the 1lb fellas though.
Too high. Needs to be on the ground to be effective
@@e.s.l5861 - Noooo.... You NEVER want your fuel source inside the tent with you. If there's even the smallest leak where the hose connects it will build up at the bottom of the tent until it reaches the flame and >BOOM!< your ice fishing tent gets launched skyward as a fireball scorches you in your sleep.
And the CO detector should be above the midline of the tent because CO rises above air. So you want warning before it reaches you at the bottom of the tent. In homes they're supposed to be mounted over 5 feet from the floor.
And putting the Buddy Heater on top of anything is a recipe for disaster as it is more likely to fall over. And even if the flame goes out, that radiator is still going to be dangerously hot.
@@phydeux Camping with the Buddy Heater for years and years.
Never had one problem.
I’m a loyal Steve follower. Been with him since day 1, and I got to say... Man this has to be the most cheerful and beautiful video!!! Their laughing was contagious.
And Steve you’re insane for that pickle juice tea

I'm sorry about both your losses these past years. I lost my grandfather this past September. Seeing crazy neighbor reminded me of him.

The conversation and laughing about the eating a lemon like an orange and making tea out of pickle juice was awesome. Could have easily been me hanging with the buddies around the campfire drinking beer.

I had a good laugh about the “parsnips in the mixed vegetables”. My grandmother, God rest her sweet soul, made beef stew often. She’d put parsnips and potato both in it, and my mother hates the former and would grumble about the “potato substitute” at the dinner table. 😆
Your gentle humor humor cracks me up. Keep up the good work!
