Bikes aren't really my thing but I was glued to this, awesome stuff
As a bike guy, i´m happy some car guys give it a shot :) Bikes are not as glamorous and dont have the visual appeal of nice cars, but you will never have the sense of adventure in a car, that you can get on a motorbike.... well, in my oppinion

A Harry’s Garage for the 2nd day. Must be our Christmas bonus!
@2manysecrets wise words, these type of comments make me sad as well.
While I realize it's not for everyone, after watching these two videos once again it strikes me what a shame it is that so many auto enthusiasts have never experienced motorcycles at any point in their lives. My father loved motorcycles and set me up with a little Honda Mini Trail when I was around 9 years old. That was followed by a variety of dirt bikes over the years during my youth. To this day, every single time I hope aboard a motorcycle I'm transported back in time with the same sense of excitement and wonderment that I felt when riding way back then. I recognized this same sense of pure joy in Harry many times throughout these two videos. (The dune scenes in particular.)
What a wonderful group of bikes. The Cagiva must have felt light as a feather after having to muscle the modern Africa Twin through the deep sand. I have a real soft spot for the '88 Africa Twin. Last year I sold my '88 Honda Hawk GT (known as the BROS 650 on the other side of the pond) after many years of ownership. The Hawk GT was considered a bit slow even back when new, but they're considered cult bikes today and are very popular. I mention this because the Hawk featured a V-Twin mill very similar to the one in the original Africa Twin with three valves and two plugs per cylinder. A number of Hawk owner sought out the Africa Twin engines for a swap due to the alternative tuning options the AT engine offered.
Well anyway, fantastic videos. While I've never ridden through the dessert, I loved tagging along for the ride just the same. Watching this footage brought on a flood of memories. Surely it's only a matter of time until someone with the proper video editing skills has Harry on the Cagiva zipping along in the sand with Mert Lawwill, Malcolm Smith and Steve McQueen!
That's what I'd call a Grand Tour! So well done Harry, it's just as we're there with you. Fantastic videos!
Great trip thanks for taking us along
Great video to add to the collection. Love Harr's quote "....survive only on a diet of rock!"
I am almost two years late on watching these 2 videos. I haven't been that glued to a You Tube video, ever. 90 + minutes just staring and wishing I was there, at times thinking I was there! This was much more fun to watch than the trip with the Ferrari, by far!! I am also happy to see all of you wearing the gear. It's important to show kids about being prepared! Thanks, Harry, for bring us all along on this adventure!
Hello Richard how are you doing. I believe you are healthy and also having a nice weather where you are. I live in California and I'm looking for a new friend Ok!
You just know Harry is having a great time as he swore more in these two videos than all his others put together!
And you can tell he's a true biker: always waves back at the kids! ;-)
Yet another great video (s) Harry, your'e giving me VERY itchy feet!
As someone who stopped at the local Honda dealer and picked up all the brochures for '88 and '89, this was a fantastic video. I still ride a 1989 Honda Transalp, with a lot of modifications, and I still love that 80s/90s P-D style!
What a treat this two-parter was Harry, really enjoyed it. I’m getting flashbacks to my old Yamaha XT550 and all the adventures I had on it.
Thank you Harry; It's like we have this awesome uncle 'arry who keeps us enthralled with his excellent adventures.
Thanks for another great video Harry, Thanks for posting
I like how transparent you are with money!🙏🏼
Love it. My brother has a 2003 Africa Twin - quite an appreciating asset. More practical than my NC30! Great videos as always.
Harry I’ve done the Stelvio pass and some of the best passes of Switzerland but now Morocco is on the list. Thank you and your team for a couple of hours of brilliant viewing.
Thanks, for old times sake. Maby this could bring back better times....
@27:04 Guy who guided them to the 'gas station', lit cigarette in hand...And many thanks Harry, I haven't had a bike since my Honda CX500 many years ago: off to the local motorcycle store as soon as I have finished typing this.
Greetings Harry
Thank you very much for the ride, you are an inspiration 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸
Keep producing more videos.
Much as I’ve loved watching these I think you need another bike trip Harry... you know you want to and we all look forward to sharing it with you! 😊👍
I was meant to be on a 10-day Dakar type event called Sandraiders in Morocco in April and then CV hit...
Harry's garage ... such a shame, sounds like it would have been another great trip... so frustrating. Thanks for sharing what you do 👍
Love how friendly the locals are ! It's such a nice bonus for the trip
Congrats for staying on the bike, Harry! Well done!
I now want to get my bike ticket ..!! Fantastic trip, thank you Harry.... always a great pleasure to live it vicariously through you....
Well done Harry and thank you for the upload. Brings back fantastic memories of a trip I did on my 1993 DR650 in 2019.
The people were lovely. Bought the bike for £1100, just to do the trip. Took me from south Wales in the UK to Merzouga Morocco and back home.
Such great videos thank you for filming it all
How great to be able to go on an adventure vicariously while sitting up snug near my radiator with a beer.
I can't put into words how much I enjoyed this and the last video! As a previous Elefant owner, and someone who rode to and around Morocco in 2016 it brought back so many great memories. Thank you Harry 😊 👍
this is bringing back wonderful memories of taking a dear friend from tangiers to fcasablanca and back to Spain on a 6 or 750 tenere (can't remember what displacement it had) back in the early 90's. I love morocco
Thanks for another great video, I am all about cruising my Harley but all of a sudden a vacation like this comes to mind
Hello Peter how are you doing. I believe you are healthy and also having a nice weather where you are. I live in California and I'm looking for a new friend Ok!
Loved this. Looks like a good adventure to be had, with a few mates and a guide. Some amazing, if desolate, scenery. Cheers.
If you just want a guide to the new Honda Africa Twin, what kit to wear and costs for this trip, then that all starts at approx 44 minutes in..
do a wheelie with it you noob
Colin Ashby I would have been so wary, especially as a few Moroccans were milling around as he got his fuel.
Harry, how on earth was your support van able to not only follow you each day but to reach your hotel before you did? I Absolutely love this trip
@@GenaF Yeah. People can be very friendly in places like these but then turn quite quickly. It wasn't long ago that two female Norwegian hikers were brutally murdered in Morocco (I won't go into the details, as it was very horrific the way it was done), the video of it is haunting.
You're a great host Harry, I hope there are bike adventures to come from other places on the globe.
What a fantastic adventure! Stuff of dreams, particularly on this choice of machinery! BRILLIANT! Just the best way to put your Dakar collection to work Harry. Bravo to you sir for actually riding and driving your machines, bravo!
After watching for only a few minutes, I'm entranced again just as I was in part 1. Truly epic scenery and although I don't like the term, it really is a "bucket list" trip for any auto racing enthusiast. Thank you so much for sharing this Harry. And thank you for not editing it down to 10 or 15 minutes but actually giving us a good bit of your trip. It makes us feel like we are there even more than would a short video. Cheers mate!
Thank you Harry, really really great to come along with you for the trip! Lovely commentary, thoroughly enjoyed it. Very tempted to get an Africa Twin and do the same now!
The local on the moped was politely asking for a little tip Harry!
Wow! a part 2! what a great surprise ... another excellent vid .. Thank you again for doing this vid .. You've made me start thinking about taking my Africa Twin to Morocco .. Damn you!! :)
Absolutely loved both videos Harry. Getting an Africa Twin in January, not Adventure Sports, still umming and ahhing about which colour scheme though. Thanks for wetting my appetite even further!!
Love this Harry. Please do more bike trips. Brilliant
Perfect timing, will watch this tonight :) Thanks Harry.
These are adventure bike videos are your best Harry
I really enjoyed watching this 2 part film of your adventures on the bikes. Down side is it's giving me thoughts of another bike :)
Better than anything on tv tonight. Thanks Harry.
I just finished part 1. Awesome. Thanks for sharing with us. Time to sit back, and enjoy part 2.
Fantastic, Morocco on classic Dakar bikes, doesn’t get any better.
Wether two or four wheels, Harry's the man that sends the goods !!!
Once again awsome video. Thanx.
aw yeah - another great adventure video - loved it! Makes me get silly ideas of buying some old french car and take it to the Atlas mountains...
And I've added a new line to the bucket list. Thanks for all you do, Harry! Inspiring stuff as always.
Bond movie film :) An epic journey Harry, thank you taking us along.
Amazing video(s), dear Harry... thanks for all your efforts showing us how to enjoy cars and motorbikes, the specs, the tecnical explications and most all your continous pleasure while driving......hope more will follow.
I spent two weeks touring around Morocco back in September, it’s a fantastic country of such diversity in landscapes, wonderful history, friendly people and great food and yes Harry they certainly do have some ski resorts up in the mid Atlas Mountains. We went past one of them. I don’t know what the skiing is like though. It’s not a popular activity yet with the locals, according to our guide.
Fantastic - once of the best videos I've watched on youtube. Thoroughly enjoyed, can't believe it was almost an hour long!
Great video Harry - a wonderful trip through a country which you clearly love, on bikes that you clearly adore - Thanks!
Hello Ian how are you doing. I believe you are healthy and also having a nice weather where you are. I live in California and I'm looking for a new friend Ok!
Along with the visuals _(of course),_ the audio is _superb!_ It's as though it was narrated post-production. Amazing, really, given the wind, tyre and engine noise that you must've experienced constantly while riding. Great work. _What a trip!_ 👍🏻😎
What a trip and what an adventure Harry! A bucket list item is to view a stage of Paris Dakar live
"We're now being led by a bloke in a dressing gown on a moped" Cracked me up
love the fact his crash helmet is in the crate on back of bike!!!
Lol
Really enjoyed these two videos, what a great adventure. Funny how kids the world over want you to wheelie and gun it lol.
You mentioned less views and likes for the bike stuff, well, the comments show how much those that do watch enjoy and appreciate your videos.
Bikes and bicycles are the best things in life.
Well done Harry. Looks like a blast. With a bit of imagination it could be 1940, except for the vehicles. What an adventure! Guys that just ride their bikes around the city have no idea what they’re missing. Like having a girlfriend a never having $ex.
Also, your explanation of the differences between the bikes and the kit you will need is a great idea. Bet there are lots of young fellows who have learned a lot from you sharing that information.
I thoroughly enjoyed that! Great adventure:) Thanks for taking us along!
Looked like such fun, Harry! Beautiful scenery, lovely people. Thanks for the video.
I enjoyed this so much, what an adventure! Loved the view of the road ahead...
Awesome scenery.....!! Quality!!
26 minutes, you can't beat having a ciggie whilst filling the bikes with fuel.
Done this trip one year ago! Cant wait to ride through Morocco again. Great video!
Wow, I'm impressed Harry, I didn't know you are into bikes, keep it up I love it!
Quite enjoyed this mate, thanks for sharing the adventure !
its really gud to see ur trips n car videos. always soft spoken n explaining everything very easy way so every one got the point. nice work sir plan ur trips more oftenly
2:46, gorgeous shot!
42:47, nice Mercedes.
Loving all the Renault 19s on these videos! Haven't seen one in the flesh for decades!
Brilliantly done Harry, what an experience. Good bit on all the prices etc too - really useful.
Brilliant as usual, more of these Harry please.
Awesome . . . thanks Harry .
Another great video Harry.. need to do another trip soon 👍
Fantastic video. i really enjoyed them both. Thanks for sharing them with us.
The Forcefield Pro Shirt you're wearing is one of the best protective options around, especially for this type of riding. I've reviewed this armored shirt and other big products from FF, top gear indeed. And they're British. Those specific Forma boots a bit too soft with lateral-flexion protection (hence feeling like slippers), but good to see you ain't just into bikes but also good protective gear!
I loved that one Harry, I've yet to do Morocco on the bike, I must put that right! Cracking video, more on bikes please!
i know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Dexter Aldo Instablaster :)
@Blaze Diego I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Blaze Diego it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my account !
@Dexter Aldo no problem xD
please do more bike tours like this, thanks
Wonderful video. I always go in May, the best mouth to go ! This video is amazingly realistic, and exactly how it feels there.
These videos are extremely inspiring. As a European you at times forgot how relatively easy it would be to take you car and drive to Southern Italy for example. Morocco has not been a hot tourist place for Europe because of the problems there, but really need to visit the place.
I loved an extended trip there two years ago. I did have a guide for parts of it which I think was helpful for a first timer. I was surprised at how good many of the roads were. I understand that the king is making efforts to draw southern European tourists to the country as well.
Great mini series, informative and entertaining as always, thanks.
Great mini series Harry, more bike stuff please.
Thanks for sharing this adventure. I really enjoyed seeing it!
Just added to my bucket list and now going to Honda.com to look at the Africa Twin. Harry is a baller.
Great adventure! IMHO, I would have really appreciated seeing the food and the accomodations you experience; that would be ace
7.49 "That's quite an ambitious route up" LOL
I'm loving all the different bikes, but I think Charlie has the right of it - his old Africa Twin would certainly be my choice also. What a great bike. :-)
Nice work Harry - another great adventure to inspire us !
Superb, an upload from Harry. Best birthday present ever :)
Cheers Harry great video as always.
@Hello Colin, How are you doing?
Thank you harry for taking me along
Thanks Harry. Really enjoyed that! Love your work.
An incredibly enjoyable video Harry and so beautifully presented in such a refreshing way.I've always had a soft spot for these sort of bikes that are so versatile and comfortable.I've had 3 Yamaha XT500s, XT600 and a XTZ 750 Super Tenere and even an ex military Armstrong MT500 which was nearly indestructable !.The XTZ was the only one that gave issues, minor electrical faults like yours and carburation problems but when on song a fantastic machine.
Nice choice of bikes. I'm looking into doing a similar trip on some of my single cylinder Dakar bikes, which would include both the XT500 and XT600. Like you, I love this genre of bike as they are so versatile and easy to live with. Thanks for watching
wooow Harry´s la CAGIVA LUCKY EXPLORER 900 ie La mejor de todas saludos desde Argentina
Oh cool, there's a second part. Epic. And thanks for the jams.
Such a pleasure to watch!
Great Video Harry. It sucks watching this from Australia because those bikes would suit our roads so well, but there just aren't any out here.
Fantastic video Harry!
Sidi Adventure boots were my preferred option...they fit like a glove right out of the box....and, later, after a pile-up and I watched a KTM as it did a slow-motion drop right onto my foot, (big toe), I loved them even more! Without them (steel toecaps), my toe(s) would have been crushed. Klim gear - excellent.
Charlie's bike would be my pick for this type of adventure. Great vid. Tough ride. Nicely done, one and all!
Interesting trip with great footage thanks for sharing Harry :)
...again, I have enjoyed that too - - thank you!!
Lovely weather Harry...!!!
Send some 🌞 to London...👌
Hi
