LEONID is the Best Arranger of classic rock songs in the world today. His band is also the best in the world. They can do all classic songs from the bands of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
When a group from Eastern Europe can do Chaka Kahn proud, you know that Leonid and Friends are the real deal! I am so mesmerized how the musicians nail every note the lead singer is so sultry and soulful.
Your approach of watching the entire video and only making small comments in reaction through it with more complex analysis at the end is, in my humble opinion, the winning combination. Also - the fact that you relegate the major portion of the screen to the video of the performers but also a nicely sized portion to yourself so we don't lose track of the fact we are sharing this with someone who actually, really does know what they are assessing? Makes the experience more meaningful and fun. Keep up your good work - because we, inquiring minds want to know!

I've been following these guys for about 4 years now. It never ceases to amaze me how accurate their reproductions are. From the tone of the instruments to the studio mix and blend. Leonard is a masterful arranger composer and producer. All the musicians are phenomenal musicians are phenomenal. I discovered David played live the night before I found out they played at dosey doe in The Woodlands Texas about 5 mi from my house. I'm going to make sure I don't miss them next time.

I can't imagine enough hyperbole to describe these guys and their tremendous talents. I've heard many bassists in my 70 plus years but this dude is as cool as they come. As a wise man once said there are not enough ohs in smoooooth to describe him.
The next Lenoid & Friends song you have to do is 25 or 6 to 4. This is one of there earlier songs when they were just covering Chicago. You will love it.

I'm following this Russian/Ukrainian since the beginning and honestly I've never heard a cover band playing at this level. They've raised the bar very very high. To me they are too underrated

I realize that I am late to this party, but wow, what great musicians. I just discovered this group, and now I am going down the rabbit hole of their music and the covers that I grew up with. And I might have fallen in love with Ksenia, I doubt I am the only one.

They must be pronounced together, without a slightest gap. For example, like in the phrase "back side". Stress on the first syllable. What a band. The singers name is Ksenia Buzina. I think you pronounce the Russian name as, Senia. I could be wrong. It would be great if someone can pronounce it correctly. She's around 40 years old now. There are so many of these great Russian singers that are unknown in the west. Another one is Julia ( Yulia ) Parshuta. Always seems to wear little on stage. She has the figure for it. She's around 37 now, what a singer. Check her out. However, the Darling of the Russians is, Diana Ankudinova. Just turned 21. She's been winning Russian X factor shows since she was 11. 1st. Check out " Can't Help Falling In Love " ( Presley song ) Forget the original, this arrangement is totally different. She's 16 on this one. Then move on to lots of other western songs, also Russian. Around 300 to date. She's a Dark Contralto & a Mezzo Soprano at the same time, Very rare female voice. Not only that, she's Polyphonic, meaning she can produce 2 - 3 different notes at will. Extremely rare. Delve into Peter Barbers' appraisal of her. He's a professional American Operatic Bass Singer. It's very technical, but you will appreciate why he's dedicating such great enthusiasm for her & her voice. He lays it out fact by fact. I think he's fallen in love ( hic) as he's now done quite a few reports on her.
