Good on you for delving into the past, finding the gems like this, and appreciating the musicianship of a band like this where, every member is extremely competent on their instruments, and can play with not only skill and dexterity but soul and feeling to create an epic masterpiece like this. There are other such bands, enjoy your journey, you seem to be a true lover of music, so it will be worth the trip for you

The Great and Mighty Deep Purple. Possibly the Greatest Live Band in the History of Rock. The talent of Deep Purple with Classically trained Jon Lord on the Hammond and keyboards. Ritchie Blackmore Possibly the most influential guitarist with Hendrix. Ian Paice the Drummer was the fastest at the rolls and best fill Drummer of his time. Roger Glover a under rated Bassist but a great Producer. Then Ian Gillan who sang the Part of Christ on the Jesus Christ Superstar Album. He was nicknamed The Voice. I suggest you react to Highway Star off the Greatest Live Album in History Made In Japan. It also is the best live recording of Child In Time. This TV Performance was shorten and doesn't contain Jon Lord's Hammond Solo. It is also a shorter solo than on Made In Japan or off the studio album In Rock. In Rock is it's own Genra. That album really changed where Rock was going. I also recommend Ritchie Blackmore's Band called Rainbow or Originally Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and the song Stargazer. Enjoy!

"One in a Million..." is RIGHT !! Love your reaction, to this great song. "Anti War"... Man's inhumanity to Man"... Whatever you want to call it, should invoke Tears, lamenting, moaning and WAILING !! Keep up the great work.

There's a great 1975 live performance by Judas Priest, which is clearly influenced by Deep Purple's "Child In Time", and yet has a quite different vibe, making it equally awesome. You might like to react to it: ua-cam.com/video/Wvlq1F-X6Ko/v-deo.html

@@fredtello Yes, it also has Pink Floyd vibes, particularly the guitar solo. Priest and Sabbath both came out of the city of Birmingham, England. Priest were certainly trying to develop what Sabbath started.

I agree with you, this voice is not from this planet. It is extraterrestrial or divine, I don't know.
