It's Klute-ish, perhaps a modernized version. The creator of the original cut, Paul McGregor, was supposedly the inspiration for the Warren Beatty character in the film Shampoo.

How would you create a salon viable haircut section pattern similar to the central point as in a ponytail? The hair is pinched in a ponytail and that doesn’t compute to a vertical or horizontal section with over direction in my mind. Could you recommend other videos to explain further? Thank you. This is entertaining. I am not a hairdresser, I am an owner of thin hair, I have a lot of it through and I do cut it myself. I do direct my hair either 90' (unicorn) or 45 degreed down from the chin. Pony tails wil not "cut" it fo me. What Im missing from your videos is what haircut is for what type of hair. Not all cuts are for all types of hair and all of faceshapes. Could you please talk about it as well. There is also one thing about cutting ponytails, edges will be longer that if you cut it with bringing hair over... Thank you for fun, but I must say I am not a fun of this hairstyle.

I am a hairdresser who has been licensed since 1982 so am not a young person being unkind. This was honestly not attractive and I am sorry I f it hurt you.
