But the Chucky series wasn't bad, and it didn't need a reboot that altered the storyline from the original. Luckily the series is here so we're back to normal now. it's interesting that they literally have the kids watching ridiculously gory horror movies and showing cringe-inducing levels of enjoyment enjoyment..then have the doll, who by now has determined his current repitoire is insufficent to make his owner happy, starts to pay attention to the movie...they really made thier own monster here.

Better that they make totally different ideas from the original, instead of lousy and hackneyed remakes like the original with possessed dolls. Also, we have the Don Mancini series, so we have Chucky for longer.

Andy didn’t actually create him, it was a disgruntled employee from the factory where he was made. The safety protocols were disabled, if the employee hadn’t have done that then Chucky wouldn’t have been like this.

He just wanted to stay best friends with Andy forever and didn't know that killing people would actually make him mad at Chucky... Of course, the second half just made me want to grab that little doll and rip it apart atom by atom...
As a millennial that grew up watching Child's Play 1-3 and Bride of Chucky, this film was hard to watch, very strange, and overall unnecessary in this saga considering that the first child's play (which is being "rebooted" in this film) was one of the best Chucky films of all time. Also what's up with this new Chucky doll?
