- On Wednesday, President Joe Biden signed into law a bill that will force China-based social media giant ByteDance to sell its crown jewel TikTok. If it does not, the app will be banned in the United States-an unprecedented move that would be the first instance of this country prohibiting a foreign-owned social media app.

I live in Delaware and have been caring for my mother for 2.5 years now. I can not go out and work as she needs support now and can not live alone. She is wheelchair bound. I looked into receiving caregiver pay to support myself and it is not available to me because my mother is not on state assistance. I was appalled by this, because my mother worked her entire life and did not collect any assistance from the state, she does not qualify for any caregiving benefits unless she pays out of pocket . I would never think of charging my mother for what I do. This should be available to those who are not on assistance. These people worked hard and are proud people who don't like asking for help. I have no income because I stay home to care for her. That's an extra burden on her financially for my living costs.. meals ..electricity ..ect

If you spend more than 25% of your salary on your parents care you can declare on income tax. Good luck with that.
