After the end of the episode, all I could do for the day - just lay on bed and stare at the ceiling. I cannot even begin to fathom how anyone can write such a story. And I can't even try to imagine how Rudy will find a way to live through this
Hit me in the same way man. I'm always astonished how they're are such talented gifted writers out there. Whi our lived that much better with their work
When Lilia told Rudy Go rest. I'll take over from here that gave me goosebumps. That type of person is incredible. She understands how much pain he must be in and she knows crying and screaming will solve nothing. She knows that. Rudy And the party did everything they could in that dungeon. She didn't have to ask what happened cuz it wouldn't have made a difference. She knew that they did everything in their power to succeed and this was the outcome. She understood this and now that they are out of the dungeon, it's her turn to do everything in her power for everyone
I also wanna praise the choreography of the fight too. Like the co-ap between each party members were so on point. Like the original members already had flawless team play, but also loved how well Roxy, Elinaliese and Talhand worked together. Considering how long the three also were on their own adventure looking for Paul's family.
To sum up how he feels about his new parents. " I am not even his child, but Paul is my Dad ". When I read this part 3 years ago it still stuck in my head. What kind of feeling he must have felt.
That was a clever way of saying that he hasn’t yet been able to quite sever his sense of self from his previous life; the life in which he loathed himself and lacked a shred of self confidence. Him finally accepting that Paul is his Dad and that he is Paul’s son was the moment where Rudy really took ownership of his new life and accepted that he is more Rudeus Greyrat than he was his previous identity.
I love how well they do when it comes to the emotions in this anime. I read the light novel and Pauls death hit me hard then. But seeing it animated and how well they do with emotions just makes it hit even harder..... Which is why i cant wait for the last two episodes of the season but imma be an emotional wreck for two weeks after... 😂😅
I agree man. Slyphie just by her presence alone in his life, has saved his life. I'm worried though this journey he went on will somehow ruin their relationship. If you read ahead though please don't spoil lol
No one talks about it but Norn is going to be absolutely heartbroken. She is the one that sent Rudeus to get both parents and now look at this bullshit 😭 this is definitely one the saddest episodes of the show
I felt the same way. I knew what was going to happen to Paul but I didn't know he was going to go out like that. When I had seen him split in half I didn't want to believe it. Rudy went against Orstead And live to tell the tale! Like this really happened! As talented in magic as Rudy is, it showed that he wasn't able to heal a missing limb and he accepted that! Then he sees Paul cut in half That's when I knew this is real! This show does a phenomenal job showing and not telling! Rudy knew there was no magic that could heal his father. He knew that if the strongest healing spell couldn't regrow his limb there's nothing that could regrow the bottom half of a human's body.
Subbed off this one video. Bravo! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I'd read ahead so I already knew this was coming long before this episode. But damn! These still hurt my feelings. He doesn't get to meet any of his grandkids cuz he's son/grown ass adult otaku lost focus even with a demon eye the sees the future in his head! He dropped the ball and his daddy lost his balls as a result! 😭
I always appreciate scenes where no word is spoken, but everything is interpreted. That is the Zenith of cinematic

I loved the silence the episode had. Such still air. Chills 🥶.
The silence of them walking out after Paul’s death🥶
Many chills packed in this one episode

Mushoku Tensei is so Raw everything feels like it has weight to it , great video it was nice hearing your thoughts 👌
As I said in this video. It keeps surprising me. A well made Anime with many layers. Thank you too for liking my content

Very true. Each team member really shined in this fight

Me and you both man lol. I really wanted to see the family reunite after all of this time
Im just glad he has Slyphie and Roxy to see him through this especially after that close call with almost losing Roxy in the dungeon

Its so rare for an anime to hit so hard like this. I really liked hearing your thoughts & reactions.
I had to man. This latest episode forced to speak on it. Amazing how this show just keeps getting better

Right though smh. I hope she doesn't find aome way to blame Rudeus from what occurred. That would really hurt him to the core if she did

agree man, it's sad he won't get to reunite with his family. So much lost in this one fight
Rudeus had just had his 10th birthday before the teleportation incident. Just how old do you people think he is. It was 6 years ago not 10.
Something happen with the last upload?
Yes, has to do a re-upload
