Shannen is a very powerful actress. Prue's role was very strong also. For me my fav is Seasons 1, 2, 3 with Season 1 my absolute fav. It still has the modesty of the 90s with fashion, hair, attitude....before the show got more popular and sexualized with new millennium attitude/culture/fashion. The change from 1998-2001 was a growth period for the show. Seeing Shannen/Prue during that growth solidified her importance as one of the sisters. The entire show was unique and had its own feel, but to me season 1 is my pesonal fav. I'm on Season 6 now and the show is still good. I'll always miss Shan/Prue though for sure. Seasons 1,2,3 are the original & best charmed
When I tell you Shannon Doherty bodied this character to the tea she was so strong the way she walked I sometimes copy it this character was the strongest I feel Shannon deserved a Oscar the way she snapped on this character prue was a amazing character ❤️❤️❤️

It's confusing because Holly in an interview after Shannon left said that Shannon wanted to leave, was denied, and then between s3 and s4 while Shannon was filming 'another day(?)' her lawyer got a call saying Shannon was fired. But In some cons/videos Shannon claims it was her decision. That she knew Prue was gonna die long in advance. That the showrunners thought Shannon would change her mind and that 3x22 wouldn't be her last episode (but she knew it was, aka her decision.) Holly being asked about 'the showrunners decision to part ways with shannon' aka wasn't Shannon's decision and Holly repeating that it was a horrible decision. Shannon answering 'live' when asked if they never got to do smth they wanted to on the show (even if it was partially a joke). So I'm confused if it was her choice, or if she was fired.
It was both. Shannen was already toying with leaving because she was tired of the direction the writers were trying to take the show. Shannen wanted more darkness, she wanted to explore the witch craft topics and etc. they wanted to explore more love and romance with the sisters, which is why she directed the last episode as a open ended cliffhanger one, did they die or didn’t they. The production company then let her go as she was already toying with leaving and in contract negotiations. In an attempt for power and to show they were in control they then decided to let her go.

Paige had what is still the best intro to a new main character ever and never felt like a Prue substitute and Rose ultimately developed better chemistry with her co-stars. She's lied on several occasions and I don't trust anything she says...which is a shame because I really used to love Prue and that has been permanently tainted by her lies. Everyone decided to fall for everything she says because of the cancer & her passing, but joining bandwagons and sympathising with sh**y people is not my thing. Another thing I dont understand is why she keeps saying she was the one hand picking the cast, was she the casting director?
Yeah, Kelly Taylor became the long suffering heroine. Which never sat right with me. She kept a stank attitude towards Valerie (did she remember how she treated her best friend? Our beloved Brenda).

Season 1-5 was good but season 6 I was so confused on Drew’s storyline . It made no sense for him to come from the future or to be a second son to Piper and Leo. He broke them up and hated Leo for not being there for him like he was to Wyatt but he was the reason they wasn’t together in the first place. And season 7-8 they all just got lazy. You could tell the writers didn’t care anymore and Holly said she didn’t care either lol They wasn’t into it the show anymore because how bad the network was treating them. Holly said they didn’t even give them a farewell party or nothing and they was one of the highest rated show. And don’t get me on that billy and Chrissy storyline which was pointless and the worst.

they should have killed Pheobe - she was the weakest of the 3 sisters & the most USELESS - all she ever seemed to care about after S3 was who she was going to bonk/marry. Besides Prue being the oldest she was the more powerful of the sisters/charmed one's
Anyone who believe Phoebe was the weakness and most useless one on the show obviously hasn’t watched this show. Prue was the strongest, but Phoebe was the BRAVEST. She was the only one who wanted to be a witch out of ALL the sisters, she said the incantation that gave them their powers, she learned and studied the spells from the book during season one, she learned martial arts to perfect her craft, all while each other sisters ran from their destiny she fully embraced being a witch from the beginning where her other sisters didn’t. Prue was absolutely the strongest in multiple ways, but she was also impulsive, and a know It all which got her in trouble several times.
Since the beginning of the show … Prue is tagged as the “Charmed” even Rodriguez during the Season 1 episodes 22 says the last episode of the season even mention that “the 3rd time is the Charmed” … Miss Shannen was right !!! Prue is the most targeted one since She is the strongest out of the 3 Sisters !!!. Again … When Shannen left the show … the show didn’t the same anymore and I agreed with Miss Shannen during Her one of the interviews that … the show needs some fresh ideas and needs some changes for both sides both Miss Shannen and the production team.
Here because of the recent drama: Shannon says they didn’t know her last episode would be the last..They thought she might change her mind?! So was she fired or not 😅
She, along w/ the rest of the cast were told to not talk about it. So even in this clip, Shannen did her best to work around the real reason. Once again, the cast was not suppose to talk about it. Both Shannen and Holly revealed in the podcast. So all the 2010s and 2022 charmed panels, Shannen, Holly, and Brian had to dance around the truth.

I mean more towards Shannon leaving because of the tension between Alyssa . I don't know how I feel about some other actress comming in playing Prue . Maybe it would have worked if the character of Prue was written out the show for at least half of season 4 e.g. if they I introduced Paige and eventually became the power of four 🤣
Shannen didn’t leave because of the tension with Alyssa. It’s 2023 and we need to put that rumor to rest, that was pushed by the network for drama and ratings. The real issue was with Shannen and the production team, she hated where they were going with the character arcs and writing.

I disagree Phoebe was the weakest with magic but her strength was fighting and writing spells.
Plus she has premonitions I comes in handy but yeah none of them should have died but hey 21 years later we still wished Prue lived
