Thank you for this video! Your directions are spot on. I delivered three of them to my daughter for outside decorations. She absolutely loves them. She is going to add lights to them. I did a wood burn on one of them. Looks pretty cool! Your video made this a four project to complete all three. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays.
Great video, detailed and easy to follow. What I did to have the screws on the inside was screw the top two pieces together, then screw the two left pieces using the 2 inch spacing to complete the left side. Then, I separated the top two pieces and screwed the two right-hand pieces on from the inside. Once both sides were complete, I screwed the top two pieces back together and completed the tree, putting on the bottom and base. If all the cuts and spacing are accurate, it went together fine.
Thank you for posting this video. I made 2 of these. I modified the dimensions to make them shorter. I painted them an evergreen and added lights to them. They will sit on my front porch steps when I put up my xmas lights
Fun project. Very informative throughout. Most UA-camrs fail on that when they post their videos. I would like to add instead of using screws, use wood glue and 2.5 inch brad nails. Makes the build much faster. If you're comfortable using screws, pre drill your holes and use a countersink bit. Not critiquing just helpful advice. Look forward to seeing all your future builds
Great project! Well done! FYI,,,, if you want to remove pencil marks and don't want to send or can't send, you can use denatured alcohol either on a rag or a paper towel and just rub it right out and comes right off.
Fun project. I grabbed the diagram you have on instagram and made a tree this evening after work. Wish I had watched the video first though because i didn't think to put the screws on the inside.
Wonderful job! You are such a joy to watch and you make it easy to follow! Thank you for taking the time to show your process! Very cool!!! Wishing you all the best! 👏👍🌞
I see near the end of the video you show your completed trees. The green one is it a stain? If so, what kind of stain is it because I still see the woodgrain through the colour and I like that look. Thanks.
Great project but you're totally measuring wrong for accurate cuts you mark on the top and line it up with the blade. Also one of the worst things you can ever do to ruin your hearing is run a saw. Hearing protection so you don't end up like me (professional sawyer of 20+ years)
What kind of wood is best? Dimensional lumber or pressure-treated lumber or something else? I’m planning on staining it. Thanks I love this. Going to try and make a few.
Tolle Arbeit. Mir forstnerbohrer vorbohren.schrauben. stopfen drauf. Sieht besser aus.👍👍🇩🇪.Und erst alle Hölzer einer Seite von innen zusammenschrauben. Dann die andere Seite. 😅😅😅
Lots of “shorts” on how to do this but a beginner like me appreciated the longer step by step and the measurements put on the screen. Thank you.
How wonderful! Greetings from Kazakhstan
Nice project. If you assemble the sides first you can have all the screws on the inside. Then screw the top together.
Yes but if one piece gets off the overlap mark, its very noticeable and it's too late to fix it
Just make a jig that allows the pieces to be assembled with exact spacing each time. No need to mark pieces, and speeds up the process.
❤
You’re really fast...the ordinary person couldn’t comprehend. I love the green stain and the wreath. I’m going to steal. Thanks 😊😊

I love a woman that can do stuff! These are fun to build!
Beautifully done!!

U can put your drill bit + on a magnetic anything & most of the time screws will stick so u won't have alot of trouble
you rock and thank you for showing us how to build a xmas tree

@@davidcarlson7395 that's great to hear
I just finished three of them. Great instructions!!

Very helpful video. I used a nail gun along with wood glue as it was moreconvenient for me. Kids will be making these for grandparents for Christmas
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building
Try screwing all sides together on the inside before the top. Hiding those two screws
Great job . I did three of them thanks for the inspiration .your a Blessing Happy Thanksgiving

When women teach, they teach for all to understand, unlike men, they just assume we know. We are here to learn.
Girl power 💋
I prefer the screws with 2x lumber projects. Wood glue is only strongest after being clamped
Great project and good tutorial.
I was gifted one of these. Do you have any suggestions on how to secure it to the ground for outdoor use?
Really enjoyed your 2 X 4 tree plans, especially the taller height. Like the use of 45 degree angles for top of tree pieces. Great Job!
Thank you very much!
Greetings from Durango, Dgo., Mexico. Great job
What are the dimensions and angles if I want to make a 6ft tree?
Thanks you..
These are beautiful! Thank you for the detailed video! I will be trying these today😊
Fun projects for the season
yes it is!

Nice job with the this. I'm going to make some but use wood glue and 18 gauge brad nails instead of screws
I don't know if brad nails would be strong enough, the wood glue is yes but you'll have to clamp them
Do you know measurements for a 5 ft tree?
Nice video, nothing fancy and good instructions. I will make one of the my self. Keep up the good work 👏🏻
Sehr gut erklärt und gezeigt, ein tolles Video. Ich werde das nachbauen.
Great build and explanation
Much appreciated

this is awesome , thank you for sharing ❤ .
Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
I agree, but why not assemble from bottom to top and hide all screws inside with predrilling and countersink.
Nice work!

Why not use brad nails instead of screws?
Maybe just durability when handling I guess?
@@garyfetner1003 I don't think Brad nails are strong enough. I feel more confident using screws.
Good job.
SUPER
I want to make one but my miter saw does not cut 22.5 degrees and the smallest angle it does it 45 degrees what do i do ?
Great job, what type of price do you get for these?
Whats a good fair price to sell for
❤ love it

The hearing protection is no joke. I worked in a cabinet shop for 18 years, and now I wear hearing aids.
What kind of wood is best? Dimensional lumber or pressure-treated lumber or something else? I’m planning on staining it. Thanks I love this. Going to try and make a few.
Not pressure treated. The wood is wet and full of chemicals and you don’t need that protection!
I think using 2x4 construction lumber looks the best
Peccato che siamo lontani....sono un falegname 🤗
Why not clamp the first 2 pieces to the table, to keep them still while screwing them together?
You can

I have tried to download plans from your site but it isn't working.. Have tried 3 different emails....
are you getting any email? or getting an e-mail without the plans?
Ok there Miss Handy lady.. now if I was your husband I would build you a proper extended fence with stop blocks.. and of course a beer holder..😂
if only she had some clamps to help her hold things...great job!!
Just a suggestion. Don’t wear your watch or rings when you’re working. You never know what they might catch on.
Can I use Brad nails ?
Try a 'wooden' Christmas tree - 'wood' is a noun - 'wooden' is the adjective (well, it is in the UK).
I'm aware of that but viewers search for WOODEN so that's why I use and include it in keywords.
This is a wood working lesson not a Grammer lesson. Thanx for the good tutorial.
Unbelievable. Put a straight edge and clamp to bench and stop fighting with timber🤨
So much wasted wood. This would be easy. To make without any waste
The top to join is a nightmare for smaller tree it keeps moving 🤬😤
😍😍
