Its crazy how incompetent Riot was making its esports. The one thing I still can not understand for the life of me, is the fact that english LCK streams don't have sperate US or western sponsorships instead of the Korean ones. What the fuck am I a person living in Chicago going to do with BBQ promotion???
I feel this as an European watching LCS with some US only sponsorships
Same with international tournaments like worlds having sponsors like state Farm and verizon that are not gonna be relevant for 80% of viewers

they literally took them away from IEM MLG DreamHack and it took them jump to Valorant to figure things out, like they arrived to the same conclusions others organizers had and not they are 15 years late to the party

They're gonna do the same of what Sentinels did in valorant with the sentinels bundle a meme, but also a lot of participation form their fandom and the team to promote this digital items for revenue 15% looks good is like not much but they're just gonna put the weight of their revenue in the teams hands
I just want more reasons to care about watching lol esports as a whole. Besides international tournaments, there is barely any incentive for the average viewer to watch more: most viewers only watch the teams they care about, and that's oftentimes less than 50% of the league they are watching.

@@Texuh that's why I'm asking. I don't understand why LS premeditated gambling from riot. In my mind is bad but why he says it like it's the most obvious approach.
@@perfectosdesconocidos8011 if riot is the one controlling gambling and not 3rd party sites they can prevent matchfixing i think thats why
@@perfectosdesconocidos8011i'd say gambling is less bad than taking ultimately saudi money, which is going to happen year or so
Same with normal sports, don't really see any issue if Riot have regular check up on the orgs and players on whether there are matchfixing
