@@ILoveLincolnCarsNo, not really. Modern computers got enough processing power to keep them in the background without impacting performance. However you should get rid of McAfee if you got that. Just roll with windows security, it's as good as it gets.

i mean a lot of saved stuff is the drivers for the computer, which i honestly dont even get what are but are important, but yea theres a lot of bloat-jarrod tech tips does a good vid on dealing with that stuff
One of the things I like about Lenovos gaming laptops is theyre very sleek looking, not tacky and covered in RGB or other things on typical gaming laptops. It means that if you turn the rgb off of the keyboard, it looks like any old business laptop. This makes it a good alternative to actual business laptops which can be a lot more expensive.
That's what I heard.. That's exactly why I'm looking in this direction
@@martaiswatkins Only problem is. That the Lenovo LOQ has crappy build quality compared to actual business laptops. I own a LOQ 15, and im always worried about that thing being damaged.
@Big-Chungus21 I'm really just gonna use it to start my crypto journey was looking at the idea gamingpad 3 but I also play video games so thought it'd be a win win plus I don't know much but is it true you can add monitors and other accessories if need be?

I may be wrong here but I notice you mentioned the laptop has no shortcut to adjust the brightness of the keyboard's backlight. I have a Legion 5 that has a single zone backlight so on mine the shortcut is FN + Spacebar which on this model cycles through your profiles as you pointed out. But I think on these models that have RGB keyboards you use FN + the Up & Down arrow keys to adjust brightness.
Nice in-depth review of the laptop though. I like the improvements & rebrand that Lenovo have made on the Ideapad Gaming 3/LOQ.

@@BoxCoUk no unfortunately not. I don't live in the UK so I was only following it all on their socials. But the Legion 9i looks really good. A legitimate desktop replacement in my opinion.

I think (if i'm right) that the gigabyte laptops have rtx 's with low wattage wich actually makes them worse than an actual rtx3060laptop card. Correct me if im wrong tho.
Got the Lenovo LOQ 15 Ryzen 7 7840HS yesterday for $699.99. Lenovo said it can take up to 32gb of RAM. But I read on some forums that it can work with 64gb. I got 2 32gb 4800MHz in there and it works fine. So, I have 64gb of RAM. I also added a 2TB NVME SSD to the 512gb that comes with the laptop (it has 2 slots). Nice deal from Best Buy. The best laptop for the money.

My brother previously used Ryzen 5. He said that it was good for the money but wanted to upgrade after 2 years to Ryzen 7.

crazy she thought the display was bad, my display on this laptop is 244hz when i utilize the hdmi plug on the back and hook up a real monitor.
Does this support 1440p and 4k monitors? I just ordered the LOQ15 w/ ryzen 7 7840hs & rtx4060 1080pFHD IPS and from reading some my conclusion is it does but i'm not 100% sure.

I have a question. I own this. I bought this laptop. Is it normal for there to be heat in the keyboard in the area of the letter B and spread around it even when the laptop is not pressed at work?

That is a known fault on some units, an overheating IC, the motherboard of those that are affected dies within 12 to 24 months as per dura tests, no exceptions.

Hmm it should be in the Vantage app under Lenovo Spectrum, I found it towards the bottom of the page in the app. If not, you could always try updating the laptop or even uninstalling the vantage app and re-installing it through the Microsoft store for free to see if that helps.
Some models may not have RGB backlight, so just plain white

I found loq 15 with almost every specs same as this but it has rtx 3050. Will it perform in similar manner as this? Will it run every games smoothly?
It will run games a bit less well and wont come with certain features but it should be fine for 1080p gaming

My LOQ laptot turns off when I play PUBG for two games, I play on charge tho, and I have a cooler connected too, any advice?
Mine crashes all the time on pubg i rarely can play 1 complete game without crashing, also happends on ride 4, mx gp and fishing planet, never could fix it with drivers, reinstaled windows, tried varius graphics versions nothing solved it. it as the 4060 and Ryzen 7 7840HS 16ram

Hi! This particular model has 45% NTSC but you can get higher spec versions with 100% sRGB colour but it most likely comes in the more expensive models.
