Is it upper deep cervical or jugular
thank you so much ma'am for the videos. I am bit confused about the sub mental and submandibular nodes being considered the deep cervical nodes, Isn't it located superficial to the deep investing layer?.
also the last anatomy books says there are two division of deep cervical; upper and inferior.
please do clear my doubts.
This neck nodes classification is mainly for the purpose of head and neck cancer staging and treatment planning. It is not based on relation to investing layer of deep fascia. Level 2 to 4 is in relation to internal jugular vein. For clinical staging and classification of nodes it is better to follow AJCC/UICC than following anatomy text books
Mam can u help me am from bangladesh and am facing tongue bumps and tonsils issue but no pain i feel infection still running 2 years but no solution and doctor give me allergy medicine antibiotics mouth wash but no solution am helpless always feel am dying or something big happened in future

I just examin 2 years before it's doesn't grow .Some time we press continue it enlarge but after some time it go back the same position .
What type of node this ?

No iam tensed so tomorrow I desiced to consult my nearest ent doctor ..

@@harisvk2305 same I have 3 nodes around my right neck and 2 around my left.i found it 3 to 4 years before but it still doesn't change it doesn't affect my health at all.if I eat fatty foods like cheese or soy sauce I feel some uncomfortable around my left side.so I stopped eating them.now I completely fine.some nodes remains same.so don't worry.
Ma'am my husband has lymph nodes swelling in Neck last June 25 ..every 2month lymph nodes are swelling in neck my husband .4times swelling in 6month ..please advice ,its danger or not
If not progressing in size, may be not significant. Better to do medical consultation and Fine needle aspiration cytology

Mam I have one epitrochlear swollen lymph node on my left arm from last 30 days . Its size is 9mm*6mm . It doesn't cause pain . Its size is neither increasing nor decreasing . I don't have any other swollen lymph node . What to do ?
may be an innocent swelling. masterly inactivity and watchful expectancy is enough🌹
@@DrSujathasENTClasses Mam is it possible that a swollen lymph node just never goes back to its original size ? Mam I am a 5th sem student and preparing for Gate examination . I have less than 120 days for it . Mam google shows its either lymphoma or Luekemia . Mam I am really anxious from past 20 days . I am so anxious that I have started sleeping with my mom and dad and I sleep a lot more perhaps 9-10 hours a day now . Rest of the time is spent on watching random youtube videos . Please help me . Mam is it benign or metastatic ? Mam btw can anxiety cause weakness in thigh and elevated pulse . Yesterday due to searching on google my pulse was between 95-105 . Today it is between 76-81 .
@@RS-sx6ne Ithink there is no need to worry. LN of mmsize without reason will not cause problems usually. But if you are somuch worried better consult a doctor in your locality.
@@DrSujathasENTClasses I went to a doctor . He said that lymph node of that size if one is investigative can be found everywhere in body . He said me no need to worry . But Dr. Google is suggesting lymphoma . I am worried if he might would have missed something

mam, ent surgeons are called head and neck surgeons but why dont they perform thyroid surgeries, usually general surgeons do that ?
Whether General or ENT,Surgeon who is confident in doing thyroid surgery will do that. Others wont do. Name has no relation to that. Take the challenge, master anatomy and take your knife.😎
