M67 rounds have the similar behaviour like regular 5.45x39 ammo, they're very prone to tumbling in flesh. The tumble effect is not evident as early as in the case of 5.45x39, as M67 starts to tumble a bit later, but the overall effect on the ballistic gel is almost the same.

This is such a well-thought out system for military ammunition storage, transport, and distribution. They can be stored for decades airtight. They can be transported in easily stackable crates. Soldiers can receive their cans and open the cans quickly. The rounds are even already in neat stripper clips. The US Army system has a bit more bells and whistles: bandoliers and such, but this is just massive industrial scale stuffs. Lucky that they were stockpiled for an Armageddon that never comes and Americans get to buy these ammunitions as surplus. Let's keept it that way.
On the bullet it says ППУ - Први партизан Ужице (PPU - Prvi partizan Užice). That's in Serbia. Prvi partizan (First partisan when translated into English) is today one of most renowned ammo producers in the world, selling their products on all world's continents, and many armies also buy from them. potato LEADER yeah but they put a sealant on them sorta like the green stuff they put on the wood at home depot to make it past longer but in this case they use a ass load of it
That is old stock - IK ( Igman, Konjic, Bosina and Herzegovina) PPU (Prvi Partizan Užice) was and is made in Serbia. Those clips are for easy load into semiautomatic M59 rifle.
I remember when I could get (and did) an M-1 Garand for $175 down at this corner hardware store in Brookings OR. That was only 1991. Now you can hardly find them at all.
I think my dad still has two of those (he's serbian). And my also serbian neighbour who already gave me his m48 bayonett Has still some of those plus the right guns
Not nice when officers order you to drag it to a distant shooting range, trust me! The thing is as heavy as hell! And the one I dragged when I was in the army wasn't on stripper clips, a bit lighter... Loaded dozens of AK magazines that day for the officers to shoot... Pain in the ass... Still, not a single misfire in every shooting we had during my service in the Serbian army, so don't worry if you get it - good stuff. Works every time.
When I was in the Army, we had to get rid of 57,000 rnds. Of .30 carbine that was in a reserve Marine unit bunker. They were in tropic packs. Sealed like yours . Inside were cans with ammo loaded in 15 rd. Magazines inside bandoleers. We really hated to blow that stuff up.
James, that's a crying shame, & a terrible waste. On the surplus market, that ammo would have sold like popsicles in hell. The Corps could have bought a ton of Toys For Tots with that kind of money, I hope they've quit doing that with their leftover ordnance.
same looking crate of the stuff we used to shoot in the Cuban army at least in the late 80s...mostly Romanian stuff and some Yugoslavian too!..it was kind of weird because it was hard to clean our AK-47Ms for some reason produced so much charcoal in the barrels and piston area.
That's not "charcoal". I think it might be the black sealant they used on the case rim and primer annulus. Or it could be the waterproof shellac used on steel cartridge cases (though Yugoslavian ammo used brass cases).
Look like good storage boxes once the ammo is used and the sharp metal is all removed from inside of them. Ammo, being brass cased is more easily reloadable.
I purchased 3 crates of this a while back for $179 each. It was funny because UPS delivered it to a little old lady and just left it stacked on her front porch, and THEN tried to say I signed for it. She drove over to my house to tell me it was blocking her sidewalk. It got worse as her son is a police officer. He shows up as I was there to get it off her porch. He wants to know why I have Russian crates of ammunition being delivered to his mothers house. Yeah, it was a real fun day. These are nice because the nitrate primers last a long time, and the case is sealed. Corrosive, but you just need to clean your rifle after your range trip and not just put it away for a week.
I think my answer to the cop would have been, "I didn't have it delivered here. See my address on the label? That's how your mother knew where to contact me, & why I'm here to get it. It's UPS that clearly can't read the numbers on a house, you might want to speak to them about this.". The cops I know would be totally chill about a little mishap like that. It sounds to me like someone was a bit overly full of himself that day.
I think in any decent military first thing they drill in soldiers is to keep their gus clean. In Yugoslavian army if it was discovered soldiers didn't clean rifle after using it would be very bad for him. Also few days later rifle should be cleaned again. Especially barrel. Because of high pressures and a lot of friction there is a lot of stuff pushed in barrel itself, not just on surface. First cleaning will take out what is on surface. After few days steel will push out those residues struck inside of it. You don't want that inside of your barrel and slowly corroding it.

Ivan, I think he means he shoots ammo from the same maker in his Zastava rifle. Other shooters & posters I know consider Sellier & Bellot 7.92X57 ammo to be outstanding. Their .303 British ammo, that I used to shoot in my No. 4 Lee-Enfield rifle, was the best I could find anywhere.

So, they rounds come in stripper clips, unlike chinese surplus ammo. That's kinda neat. You can use those to load an SKS or a VZ-58, or to load AK mags with the help of a stripper clip guide tool. If those rounds have corrosive primers, they are likely the berdan type. Since they have brass cases, it could be reloaded, but it could be kinda of a hassle. The opening method, compared to other ammo span cans, is kinda on the brutish side, but it takes less time than other cans.
Bear in mind, sir, that yugoslavian/serbian AK rifles are more reinforced than regular AKM rifles, they essentially have the same receivers as the RPK. Regular AK receivers are strong enough, but RPK receiver are even more so. Makes sense they load their rounds a bit hotter. Obviously, they would perform better with a rifle with a long barrel, like an SKS or an RPK. And cleverly so, each box has 4 stripper clips, for a total of 40 rounds per box, and that's the capacity of an RPK mag.
Xerxes, actually brass casings with corrosive primers are not reloadable, because corrosive by-products are driven into the brass, which makes it harder & very brittle. If reloaded, the cases are almost sure to rupture upon firing, & the only way to remove the compounds is to melt down the brass. A friend of mine shoots lots of this ammo through his SKS, & he gives the cases to a local machinist, who happily melts them down into ingots, which he machines into all sorts of useful items.
Back in JHB in the mid - eighties I got a hold of some Czech 9mm for my CZ75. It too seemed hotter than the regular local stuff. Good ammo though, in fact I preferred it.
Phil, the Czechs have long had a reputation for building their military small arms ammo rather on the warm side. Their CZ-52 pistol was roller-locked & extra strong, & the 7.62 Tokarev ammo made for it & Czech submachine guns was loaded waaaay hot. When some of it hit the market in the latter 80's, buyers that shot the ammo in Mauser C-96 Broomhandle pistols were getting blown extractors & damaged bolts, before retailers could warn shooters about it. This was an extreme case, but folks who own chronographs can confirm most Czech ammo is noticeably speedier than average. A steady diet of such probably isn't the best for your favorite bangstick.
This stuff is SO corrosive that it will cause rusting of the sights even with proper barrel cleaning! I would only use this on bolt action rifles and nothing else. I would pour boiling water down the breech prior to cleaning to get rid of these corrosive salts. My Combloc guns mean enough to me that I use only noncorrosive primers, except for any bolt action gun-John in Texas
I’m in Long Island New York and I order ammo all the time! It’s nice to feel bad for us but you’re not speaking the truth! Shipped to our door no problem!
Ik is Igman ammo made in 🇧🇦 Bosnia and it's still made in same factory and now this days it's made by girl's mostly. There is a video on UA-cam Igman Gorazde inside of factory. I had that ammo from BBM battle packs for my AK resantly, really hot stuff.
When you get gun gets hot cuz you popped off three or four mags take some zMAX engine additive and poured into the boat breach area on the bolt carrier down the barrel and down the Piston down in the piston area Port all over it let it run into a bucket it'll pregnant the medal and help you going out a little bit longer lubricate it and it'll keep the corrosion down

Made in nowadays Bosnia...IGMIN Konjic...it said on the bottom of metal seal IK - 7811 - 20...what is basically factory info's...They still doing same quality stuff for worldwide customers including US...
This is supposed to be very good ammo. You sure stack it deep. Just wish it was boxer primed. Not set up to reload berdan primers. These rounds are supposed to have a dead air space in the projectiles which cause them to tumble upon striking a target especially soft tissue. Where in Tennessee? I live in eastern Tennessee.
To make your stripper clips work better, a light coat of wax will help the rounds to feed MUCH easier. Saw it on some Czech BXN strippers for my VZ 58.
Rat Route, the word on the numerous SKS forums is that the BXN-stamped stripper clips are the gold standard best, both in function & durability. If you decide to part with any, advertise them online, they'll sell in a flash.
If I got a crate of ammo like that in South Africa, I'd have the security police at my door!! It's crazy how easy it is for you guys to buy and stockpile ammunition. We have strict buying and stock limits in SA, and we need it more! How did you even get a crate of 308 ammo from SA!?

+southernmost homesteader I'm going to Gatlinburg on the 18th for vaction. I'm gonna look while I'm there. i have a couple leads to check out. I also found a nice place in Arkansas.
Like koje sa balkana!
Werry good ammo, never failed. I used same munition over 35 years.
In Europe, in my country for having one piece of ammo, you are threatened with up to 10 years in prison. Probably for one piece of ammo I would not go for jail but I would only get probation for couple years . btw Ammo looks great I would buy too if I lived in the USA
Crazy laws there, I hope than never happens here, stay safe man.
southernmost homesteader enjoy your massacres lol
I Am Yugoslavian Thats why i had to come over and click on it now you have a first comment from a true yugoslavian guy :D
That's perfect for an SKS...nice! Stripper clips included!
That's a very nice box for storing ammo.
dayummm! I think is how you say it
ИК 8011-20
IK 8011-20 Igman Konjic 1980, 11th month, 20th batch, regular bullet M67.
Two more types: M78 with tracer (green paint), and M82 piercing-flammable (red-black combination of paints )
1120 pieces crate (40 pieces in box), older variant for semiautomatic Zastava M59/66
1260 pieces crate (15 pieces in box), newer variant for automatic Zastava M70
Packing is probably not original from the factory due to the different designation of the series on the hermetic box. Maybe it's prepackaged, I do not know.
On a cardboard box on right side is gunpowder designation:
НЦ-08 (NC-08 Nitrocellulose. 08 is probably type)
МБЛ 80142
MBL 80142 Milan Blagojevic Lucani 1980, 14th week, 2nd batch.
I will update my comment in a few days, I just have to go to work to check the books, is everything I wrote correctly
Cool, thanks for the input.
If you will wrap he wire around the dowel as you go along it will no pull loose :)
Good idea.
@@hutchins36 I thought you cut yourself when the wire broke.
I guess there hotter than most Russian commercial ammo as well.
Some of the Chinese x39 comes on stripper clips out of the spam can as well
Fired this out of my Npap and 63d. It felt pretty hot. I'd use it for personal defense too.
This man is extremely well-prepared for a zombie apocalypse, invasion from Mars, and when the world goes to shite just before the Second Coming.
Back in JHB in the mid - eighties I got a hold of some Czech 9mm for my CZ75. It too seemed hotter than the regular local stuff. Good ammo though, in fact I preferred it.
This surplus ammo is hotter than standard steel case Russian ammo.
Toga smo imali na ratistu ko blata kad je rat krenuo u Jugoslaviji
I bought some Yugoslavian ammo once in 8mm, not much luck with it. Then I got some Romanian 8mm and it was Hot !
Just awesome man! Get you some! nice unboxing enjoy!
+guns4funcajanajustin Thanks. It's time to go shooting now.
You got that right!
I’m in Long Island New York and I order ammo all the time! It’s nice to feel bad for us but you’re not speaking the truth! Shipped to our door no problem!
Just found your videos really like them!
I paid 32cpr in 2020 which is kind of amazing.
Wow! This is way better than movies!!
When you get gun gets hot cuz you popped off three or four mags take some zMAX engine additive and poured into the boat breach area on the bolt carrier down the barrel and down the Piston down in the piston area Port all over it let it run into a bucket it'll pregnant the medal and help you going out a little bit longer lubricate it and it'll keep the corrosion down
YUGOSLAVIA FOREVER💋💘❤💓💕💖💖💜💗💋💘❤💓💚
That is very cool! Great stockpile!
+Gun Collector007 Thanks You can never have to much ammo, It's a great investment.
Cool to see. Metaxa yeah I remember Iw been drinking Metaxa Brandy Metaxa Rum and Metaxa "Martini". Metaxa were as I remember the Gov, Industry for all kinds of suplys.
36 years old amo, that reminds me Im starting become old my self. Went to Jugoslavia for a hollyday back in 1983 after military service, more precisly to Ulcinj - Montenegro.
Good price you got there, 28,8 pence a shot incl shipping. In Norway you have to pay about 80 cents and for 7.62x39 SOVIET 123GR FUSION nearly 2 dollar. Back in my days we used 7.62 in the Norwegian Forces. HK AG3 was a good rifle for whats ment back then.
SGAMMO still has the YUGO crate with 1120 rounds on stripper clips but it's now $503.95, free shipping.
If you dad doesnt have one of this in the garage laying around you arent Slavic 😂
Made in nowadays Bosnia...IGMIN Konjic...it said on the bottom of metal seal IK - 7811 - 20...what is basically factory info's...They still doing same quality stuff for worldwide customers including US...
this made 20.11.1970 igman konjic factory in bosnia ex sfrj made for sks
I picked up a case at a gun show. It's SHTF ammo only due to it being corrosive.
Hey neighbor. :-) Your label says 330 while mine say 331. 330 is on the other side of the street here.
Strange how some utilitarian objects can be so beautiful.
ППУ is the best :)
This crate is for PAP
Rguns and SGammo both has these in stock as of this post
SG ammo acted like there was a shortage of this ammo 3 years ago now its still available after they raised the price a bunch.
You can still get a crate but it is 400$ now with shipping
4:21 - that bit of the cut that was still attached. How in the world did the wire go through it, and leave it still uncut? Weird.
I love this unboxing, but my question is why the factory made the seal very hardly to opened ?
Its not hard to open he just yanks on it which is the incorrect way to open it.
More than one man can carry!
there is nothing junk there :) !! that ammo is for semiautomatic rifle PAP M59/66 more you can find in the video below ,good luck
Lucky people. We can only dream of so much amo.
To make your stripper clips work better, a light coat of wax will help the rounds to feed MUCH easier. Saw it on some Czech BXN strippers for my VZ 58.
great idea. thanks
Rat Route, the word on the numerous SKS forums is that the BXN-stamped stripper clips are the gold standard best, both in function & durability. If you decide to part with any, advertise them online, they'll sell in a flash.
oh so your the one who bought the Last crate at sgammo lol
+MarkedWheat Wheat SGammo has them back in stock at 319.50 plus shipping.
+southernmost homesteader the second I saw your response I placed my order lol
+MarkedWheat Awesome, glad I could help out.
To bad we can’t buy and ship to Hellifornia 😪
If I got a crate of ammo like that in South Africa, I'd have the security police at my door!! It's crazy how easy it is for you guys to buy and stockpile ammunition. We have strict buying and stock limits in SA, and we need it more! How did you even get a crate of 308 ammo from SA!?
Bought 5 crates of SA .308 from a guy in Fl, got a great deal on it and resold most of it and kept one for myself, sucks your laws there are so bad.
You must be thinking of bringing down an ARMY !!!. Gun ho Amuuuricans!!! I'm from UK so your video is as close as we get to ammo !!!
what an experience, thanks for the video!!
Yeah , you guys could not find our ammo depo's while bombing in '99.
thats sick, already in the clip and so well preserved
i got the same thing. i think i paid 212 for 1120 but it was maybe 2010ish
Cool that was a good price back then.
