Hello Natalie! I have just found your channel and want to thank you for sharing, your videos are great! As well as your website! I am in the industry for around 10 years and still learning from you. I have worked mostly in MTM, had my ateier and worked in a bridal boutique, now I'm trying to change a direction and go towards the industrial production. I lova CAD patternmakin, my MTM experience helps a lot, as well as flats and collection developement. What I really miss is a research of the product and trends. Of course I watch all the fashion shows on a regular basis and follow things like WGSN, but I still miss a knowlege how exactly to research for the particular products that can cell in the particular area and so on. Are you planning to make this kind of video in the future? One of my ideas is to launch my brand of modern patterns for home sewers along with patternmaking (as well as 3d, I use Clo3d) services, but I feel a bit lost about the demand and waht should be the choice.

I am from Switzerland and the market here is very specific. The country is so small but the cultural diversity is extreme to it’s proportion. We have a very high end production based in the place where I live (Gucci MTM for the world’s famous along with Tom Ford, Tom Brown etc) as well as development headquarters of the brands like Hugo Boss, North Face, Guess etc. I’m taking a program in a local fashion school and having time to make up my mind what exactly I want to do and your videos are so helpful seeing things from another perspective.
