I usually get other peoples maps, delete ALL fence splines and things that will catch up tractors and trailers like stupid road signs etc. I also enable powertools so if i roll a vehicle i can pick it up and replace it rather than resetting the vehicle. I like rectangular fields too so this is a big help, Thanks.

You can adjust the meter per pixel. That adjust the scale of the terrain vs the dem. To go bigger adjust the dem image scale and all the weight images.

So how do i open a alredy existing mod map, edit it as i please and then save it? Cant seem to figure out how to rename and save it? Also when i try to do what you do and make a map from 'Alredy existing' i save it to the Mod folder but it dosnt work. It dosn't show ingame 😪 Hard to figure this out when you Never modded before haha
To open a mod, unzip into a folder then you can edit it. Check your log.txt to see if the mod has a loading error, that should help. Also feel free to join my discord, it's a place to chat and share pictures.

Up the top of screen, near menu. Click Window then click Terrain Editing

You may have to check the game installation path. It can take some time to load up.

i moved the mapus to mods and i didnt see it but it had a error any idea of what it could be for the error?
Could check the log.txt file for what the error is. My guess is it could be file/folder name.
Hi! When i start my map it stops loading at 60%. why?
May have a error. Check the game log, located near mods folder. It could also be a mod in the mod folder
other maps are working... i made the same map in older version of giants editor but it didnt work as well

Any game version works. As long as the game file location is set correctly In GE settings.

i have no menu that pops up to allow me to edit the terrain like you did so how am i suppose to get it

Its a toolbar. You can turn them on and off in one of the menus
