Hey Ed! You Ryan,Jay Christoph and co are singularly responsible for me just pulling the trigger on a Mahindra Scorpio N so I can now get out and do these trips! I thank all of you for these videos! They are unbelievably inspiring. Watch this space as I’m going big 👀
When I encountered you at the khwai bridge I got a glimpse of how much effort and time you put into filming those drive-by shots. Probably editing during the trip takes quite some time too. Thanks for all that work and I am glad for you that you found the lion in the end and got rewarded with other very special sightings before and after that . Allthough just being there is big reward in itself as is watching your video's and your positivity. I do worry a bit about khwai becoming more crowded.
Great series 😊. Know the wildlife are saying Edward is here when they smell the delicious food you prepare at your campsite. And my favorite is the giant elephant blocking your way. Til next time stay safe 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🐘
Cool video Ed. Awesome sightings in camp. Not many people see a leopard in camp! Botswana will always be on my bucket list, just need to save a bit for it.
You, Andrew Saint Pierre White, Roam Overland all précise the beauty of this region and rightfully so! Each one of you approached capturing the intense beauty of this country in you own way. Wonderful job, Edward and Johnno.
Thank you Edward and your mate for showing off Botswana Pride. This is quiet a masterpiece of a video. You are in for yet another treat in Linyanti, however you going to encounter few challenges with the sand soon as you enter Mababe. Once again thank you for this masterpiece. My pride my Botswana. Have a lekker trip you and your mate.
Ed the suspence is killing me for the 3rd part of this series,😅 can't wait. Those sounds tracks on your series are just amazing as well, fantastic editing.
Well done Edd another awesome episode. The game sightings were amazing pitty about the inconsiderate game viewers spoiling the shots. Can't wait for the next episode.
whoa, leopard and honey badger in camp, lions and hyenas, elephant... OH MY! What a night! Magotho is the wildest campsite I've seen in your vids. Epic. So many awesome sightings this trip, even wild dogs!!!... holy canoli, your vids just get more and more stunning, Ed! (Somebody says Botswana is over rated??? 😵💫What is up with that???)
I completely agree with you Botswana is amazing - ty Ed, can't wait till I'll be back in Chobe in feb - love your pizza ......the ellie bulls are fab and your patience got rewarded by the lions and ellies and.....square tailed nightjar and dots...
Putting two of the same pizza (woolies club works well) face to face (sauce as well) and then in the rooster is super easy and works well! Thanks for a great video
As always, fantastic footage and relived the same experiences we had at Magotho….. just really love its wildness and will be heading back again there next year as well . Keen to watch the episode coming in LINYANTI as never been before . Thanks for documenting and sharing bud 👏🙌
Hi Ed we have just rekindled our love of the Khwai we have been to the Khwai 4 times and have never been disappointed, we have never failed to see leopard hyenas or lion in Khwai. We were planning to go to manner pools and south Luangwa next year but we may have been swayed by your post of Magotho to change our plans. Last time we talked you you had just got your vehicle back from Toyota after your bad experience of a rouge technician. This years 6 week tip went well unlike last year which was a disaster, we went to rhino sanctuary elephant sands Chobe Vic falls Hwange and Kruger. Keep on with your dreams the wilds are where the heart is
Dude you have outdone yourself again but this time you have raised the bar so, so high I can’t touch it. What an epic episode. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute but your footage of my two favorite antelope…..sable and roan was the best for me. A leopard in camp is pretty cool too 😉. Can’t wait to see Linyati!
Another wonderful dose of Botswana, thank you Ed! Interesting commentary about the lodge vehicles going off road. I saw the same thing. All except one vehicle were patiently watching one barely visible old lion lying in wait as some antelope approached. The 4WD got so close, and the hunt was over when the scrawny lion walked away. There was some anger from other vehicles! I posted on facebook, and the vehicle tour company owner apologised. I also got flamed by some drivers. It was how they made a reasonable income , by negotiating a price to do it with their rich impatient clientele. Don't know how you stop it?
What an amazing trip! You certainly saw it all and loved your leopard in the camp sighting. And amazing bird life, birds are our passion so I'm always happy when you focus on these delightful creatures.
Hey woow Ed, and Johnno, what a great episode! You mentioned priviledge, thanks so much for so clearly stating tgat a visit there is a huge priviledge! I also feel priviledged that I can sit here in a cold, grey & snowy Germany, feeling m. y wanderlust being fuelled by your incredible video footage! Thanks for also showing the smaller birdlife, that is super. Looking foreard to the next episodes, stay save, good travels. Regards, Ingo.
Hi Ed - glad you guys survived the leopard - you looked shocked, surprised and almost ( or was it definitely) sh**ing yourself - another great video Ed - Keeping it Lekker
Another beautiful video mate, Magotho is a jewel.. 👌👌 Pity its getting too crowded most likely because of steep park fees.. Nature was your friend on this trip, saw everything there is to see ❤❤ My guess is you are going to wild camp somewhere between Savuti and Linyanti, there is no way you going to escape the Linyanti sand. Looking forward to the next episode.. ❤️🇧🇼🇧🇼
Good day Ed.im enjoying your episodes here in Botswana. This was really a wild camping i loved it. How do you get ready if any dangerous animal attacks escape plans?
Great video Edward👏👏 you captured the essence, beauty of the Kwai and packaged with a wonderful soundtrack. Was that the Marsh road where you got stuck? I would be interested (since you have the same camera gear as I) to see your camera settings you use to capture this stunning videos. I don’t do much video but would like to. Thanks and safe travels!
I am always surprised that you cook meat at night when in the bush. I learnt my lesson in Savuti in the 80's when cooking a steak and had to smash my torch on a hyaenas head after it nudged me with its muzzle. Really scary
Another great episode! I have one question a little bit related to that episode: Which one would you recommend for a tourist from abroad on a first trip to Botswana? Going to Maun and exploring Moremi area or going to Kasane and exploring Chobe area? Thank you Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
When you are there it is actually not that scary as long as you respect the animals. Im scared of leopards but never had the urge to run away when they came into camp.
I mean as you can see the leopard is just minding his own business and 99% of all encounters is like that. Still you must be vigilant as you never know when a old injured leopard will come
Hey Ed! You Ryan,Jay Christoph and co are singularly responsible for me just pulling the trigger on a Mahindra Scorpio N so I can now get out and do these trips! I thank all of you for these videos! They are unbelievably inspiring. Watch this space as I’m going big 👀
Mate, your cinematography, editing and music selection are second to none.

Spectacular work gentleman. Well edited Ed.
Question for Johnno. Does the fortuner run hot with the bar & lights covering so much of the grill?
Finally, new episode 🔥. I enjoy watch other people experiencing my beautiful country ❤️
Looks like Khwai was good to you, Ed! 🤩 Ellies at ‘The Beach’ at sunset is pure Botswana magic. Awesome leopard sightings as well 😃
Great series 😊. Know the wildlife are saying Edward is here when they smell the delicious food you prepare at your campsite. And my favorite is the giant elephant blocking your way. Til next time stay safe 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🐘

Picture quality is exquisite, matches the intensity of the beauty of the place. 🇿🇦🎊🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼 Enjoyed the video guys.🙏
I love these long episodes I watch them when I'm on call working from home.

Are you guys not afraid though, i love this but I'd be terrified.

stunning
Is this the last time we are seeing echo5
What size tyres does Jona run o. His Fortuner
265/70R17
❤
I understand the need to download, but it really takes away from the whole experience to drag all that modern equipment to the bush...
Why the artificial music. We want t hear nature. If we need music we can play our own music
Then don’t watch, no one is forcing you to
Nice video, but totally ridiculous with all that light, very annoying for other campers !!!!
Hence why I said point it away from other campers which is exactly what we did mate, you clearly and conveniently missed that piece 😂😂
