Absolutely
I 100% agree with you Ed about Botswana and all that it offers as far as adventures with wildlife are concerned. My wife, Sandy and I, ran customised photographic boat safaris to the Chobe for 6 years and your video are amazing in both their content and their education, thank you. I should also comment that your tips, your advice on what to have rig wise are also first class, thank you so much for what you post on your channel and we look forward to meeting you in person on our ventures in the future. Great job Johnno, not an easy thing leaving work behind, but you succeeded with the help of Starlink, a total game changer and something we will be looking into. Thank you both of you.
Ed, Jonno, Christoff & Ryan taking us places in 2024 - it’s gonna be a great year! 🙌🏼
Love your videos. The chef is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
You guys are our pride and surely making Botswana a Tourist Destination. Surely applauded and seeing Jonah is so happy and keep bringing him over. Bravo guys
I really I'm a big fan of these films. They get me drawing a proper to do list

Thank you Ed for the absolutely fantastic video of Botswana my home country. You have managed to capture the essence of Botswana's wilderness purity and beauty. It never ever gets old. Thank you for doing so must justice. Happy Days!!😊😊
Unbelievable, stunning, so soul healing. Thank you.
3 STUNNING episodes of magic in Botswana thanks for bring it to us Ed & Johno
This brings back great memories of our trip in July 2023 with @ExperienceWildAfrica - It just confirms, Linyanti and Savuti sand roads are not to be underestimated but boy! It adds to the adventure. Thanks Ed🙂
Hey Ed, Johnno, wooow, you really hit this one for a six! Beautiful videography, editing, showing so much diversity in nature! Thank you for "doing your job" so well. On the topic of bad roads, I recently saw a road sign ( from Aussie) : "Bad road ahead, secure all dentures, and fasten those bras". Every time I see on of your episodes, I again wish I could share a trip with you guys! Wishing you and your families a merry and blessed Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous New Year 2024.
Yes this trip is indeed AMAZING.....inever tire to watch your videos.
i'm always learning something new about my beloved country from you Ed, great episode, i love it
Gentlemen, what an amazing episode. It's an epic series, to say the least! I enjoyed the vibe and the way you portrayed wonderful camaraderie

Another great video! One of your best yet. Can’t wait until I can be back in Botswana!
Ed, Johnno - This was just great. Thank you.
Ed this is one of the best video you have made. I love it to the best. IHaha it was one place I didn't know about before in Botswana. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Keep going to Botswana, Ed! Never mind the negative comments - I also love it although I’ve never got there! Too old now so I visit vicariously. Thank you ❤
Great episode. Amazing leopard/civit footage. Hope Johno can find the time to travel with you again.
Thanks Rob!
Amazing ❤
Well done to you 2 gentleman thank You for a great insight of your life changing trip ' i cant waight for your next update of plans of the next trip .
Thank you very much for the beautiful videos from southern Africa. we love it! You and your team have a wonderful Christmas time and a healthy New Year 2024👍
Ed, another great video. Botswana is magic. The leopard in camp was wild. Stories of Namibian robbers was even scarier. The camps look great and the wildlife was amazing. I do think the air fryer is a little much.........
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Edward, you've done it again. Another stunning video, it does get any better than this 😜. On a serious note, I have to agree. We've been to Linyanti campsite around 10 year ago and it is probably the most impressive and beautiful place we have ever seen and experienced. A truly humbling and almost spiritual experience. How about that for a temporary office location. If you really have to work, why not there?
Very nice Ed. You deliver good things brother. 🎉❤❤
My friend Jono, you are very lucky to have great company with Edward I wish one day I will have that privilege to camp with Edward parking my Lc200 side by side.i was at Ihaha in camp 03 same camp witch you were. I was also waring about those Namibian.
Great video as always, thank you
Cumulonimbus clouds, a dirt road and baobab trees, m a g i c !! 100%!!
Hi Edward we are both enjoying your Namibia trip and reminiscing our own trip which I think our paths may have crossed we were there from the beginning of may into July. When were you there? We both agree on people being one of the biggest problems in these places. We did 16000 kilometres on our 4 month trip through SA Namibia and Botswana and we had such an incredible time we are already planning a much longer trip through SA Namibia Zambia Botswana Zim Malawi and possibly Tanzania in our own Hilux with a Khaya camper on the back.
All the best for now and best wishes for 2024
If it was easy, your work would not be as spectacular and beloved as it is! Your vids are so special, Ed, I get to enjoy my passion for seeing the extraordinary beauty of this world vicariously through you and your mates. 😍 Bless you all (and by extension, all of us viewers) with many more grand adventures. Botswana is epic, thanks for visiting as much as you do! What is the cost of getting the starlink setup and service? It's an awesome addition!
Great video thank you
ONE LOVE
Great episode! Im so jealous!
❤ yes.....the best magic❤
You will have to really pull a rabbit out of the hat to better this one Ed, well done. Verry happy that the leopard didn't try his luck with you guys - a little too close dor comfort that one... 😲
Hi Ed. Maybe I missed somehow. Do you also deflate your tyres when driving on a muddy and slippery road?
Hey Ed. This is one of the best episode I really enjoyed. I stay in Botswana and I didn't know that there is a place called Lenyanti thanks for showing me. I think this should be on my bucket list. I'm also amazed by your camping kit. If I may ask how long did it take you to have such great equipment....the solar panels, the tent built car etc
Another Tops video. Those lions should feed on the opportunists
Would love to see a special on the birds of botswana. Was there last July and I was gobsmacked
As always another awesome video. Sitting here in Oz your videos keeps me closer to home. Makes me want to move back.
What speeds (up and down) did you get from the Starlink?
Just spotted your comment on this lovely video, Where are you hiding, its been a long time. Hope you are having fun
Hello my friend. Lovely to hear from you. It has been a very busy year for us with the business. So travel was put on hold. 😊
What a special, mystical video. Staying all day at Linyanti campsite really embodies living in the moment and truly enjoying the bush. If I may ask, what shower cube does Johnno have on his Fortuner?
The Eezi Awn Cube 💪
Just amazing footage once again! Ed Send me the link where can I buy starlink Please
I think it must maybe be noted that you guys battled with that sand due to some serious weights in the whole rigs? I won’t say overloaded, but I’m assuming lots of weight. When we were in linyanti we had the fear of death put in us by some neighbouring campers, saying the road from linyanti to savuti was extremely difficult and we would definitely get stuck in the terrible sand. Well, it was easy as anything for us, no problem what so ever, but, we were a Patrol, with no trailer, and reasonably lightly packed. Shoo, long winded comment, but, just to say, weight is everything out there!
Yes definitely weight is a killer hey. The drive all depends on the sand and time of year. Sometimes the sand is super easy and other times super difficult. We hit it at the worst time of day so they sand was super dispersed and unfortunately in the video I have to warn travellers because if I say it’s easy and then it isn’t then I will get bullets 😂😂 having a trailer definitely makes it tougher with the drag behind the vehicle so with the patrol and no trailer it must have been a breeze 💪
Very interesting episode Edward infect it's very short 😂😂😂
Living the dream
thanks for a great video
Magic - Hope Johnno made a video on how his rig was built?
And Eden will be back soon!!
Thanks
Thank you legend!!
Is there a video on Johno's Fortuner? Would love to see that build
Cumulus clouds.
Cnimbus are the big ones😂
I absolutely love your travel series. The filming, editing and music is outstanding. Only problem is, I'm getting really homesick living here in Australia. My heart is still in the bushveld 😒
Currently watching this from Perth. Let’s just hope we manage to save enough dollars to return again for holidays!
Great, like allways Ed! Watched another SA youtube overlanding chanel with some of their vids having in excess of 1 million views. Their content does not compare to yours.... what might be the reason? They have been in existance for more than 10 years........their channel has a catchy overlanding/adventure name..... and they have lots of shorts taken from their longer videos. I am no expert.... but that might be the difference. As far as content is concerned your stuff is 1000x better
Thank you mate, thanks for the kind words, a lot of these other UA-camrs purchase their view numbers, it’s easy to do but it’s basically cheating so that they can gain sponsorship, definitely not organic like this channel
I think camp 02
This story of saying Namibian across into Botswana and break into people's cars does not hold water am going to follow it up, we are not known for that, it's a new developing thing.
Look it up, well documented at ihaha 👍
WOW😊 This series has been absolutely fantastic!❤ Never seen such vast herds of elephants. 🐘 Plus all the other animals. You two keep on traveling because you make a super team to take us on a breathtaking journey. 5 Stars to you both !! 🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🇺🇸
NEXT LEVEL boet….. loved it again. That Starlink definitely a game changer just to be in touch with family and business and take the angst out of being out of touch . Incredible Leopard Civet encounter. Merry Xmas and all that bud
Hi Ed, WOW! What an amazing sightings and experiences at Ihaha! We were at Chobe in 2022. Brought back so many memories. 🐘🐘🐘 Looking forward to see the Mozambique edition. Our next trip will be to The westcoast of SA towards Augrabies and Kgalagadi, south Namibia and the bak towards Cape Town.
We still haven't forgotten you were to travel north to our country Kenya 😁
Ed, looking again at the leopard /civet encounter, it looks like the reason that the civet managed to escape with its life, is because it looks like quite a large adult civet and a rather young looking small female leopard….. very lucky civet 🙌🙌
Loving your channel, the best sightings takes me back to mother nature 😂❤
Amazing footage. Love your videos. ❤
Thanks Ed. Great series as usual. Your work is amazing.
Special shout out to Jonno for his attitude and personal reflections.
outstanding footage first class, the hippo pose was just so.
Johno seems like such a down to earth kind of guy.
Mr. Bath, what an amazing episode! The landscapes are very scenic and the wild life are next level. Trought your lens you've captured the essence of Africa. Congrats for the very professional images, content and edition. Thanks for this very lekker entrtainement that made me miss this land. God bless you! Happy new year full of health, peace and amazing adventures! Cheers!
The tree is likely either Jackal Berry or an Nyala Tree.
Did that route , December 2023
Does your mate Johnny have a you tube channel
Thanks Ed and John. Great video. Can't wait for our trip to Ihaha and Senyati in July.
This is Heaven on earth,
Hi Ed, what Litre Engel fridge/freezer do you use?
Hey, it’s an 80L Combi
Great video Ed. Only got to watch it now. Had some holiday duties. Was great to bump into you at Stormsriver.
Wow the leopard and civet.... wow wow wow congrats on catching that on camera.....
Thanks Ed for an epic adventure! There's truly nothing like Botswana! Thanks for taking us on the journey with you! :)
As a long time resident of Botswana and having visited all, bar Nxai, on my own adventures. Geez Ed your closing comments about this amazing country, hit home hard !! and drew a tear or two. Just glad my fellow camping bud wasn’t watching with me, my wife, however wasz. Not watching anymore of your Bots vids 😢
African Magic, love these epic episodes.
Speaking about 'car troubles', my man, i think I've been beaten......
Happy Holidays, enjoy Plett 🥂🤙👍
Did the same route last year end April. From Mogotho to Kasane. With 2 day stopover in Savuti. Loved that sand road with the Cruiser and Bush Lapa Ratel!!
Hallo Edward. What time of year were you in Ihaha?
Hi Henk, in July
What can I say but magic, magic, magic! That was an amazing episode with amazing footage Ed and Jonno. The leopard encountet was something else.
Your trip to Ihaha brought back sweet memories from our long ago trip in 2005. We stayed in site 5 under a huge sausage tree. Although we never had any incidents there, we did notice people coming across from Namibia one night which was a bit scary, so it's sad to learn they have become more blatant as there were no warning signs around then.
Never apologize for returning again and again to that amazing country, if we had the chance we'd be there every few months as well!
Great video full of special situations and experiences makes me Ling for a bush holiday. Fortunately, I will get a few days at Somkhanda and Nyalazi over new year it's not Botswana, but at least it's the bush.
Next time check out Lorato Campsite in Muchenje just about 100m after the filling station when coming from Kachikau.
Thank you for sharing your amazing trip. We can't wait for our 5 week, 4x4 adventure in October. Learning a lot from watching this so thanks.
Wow, once again thank you Ed and Jono, Like I said before , great company makes a trip more memorable. And the kidneys must have taken a pounding as well boet. And most importantly you guys travelled safe. Merry Christmas to both . 🙏🍻
Oh my dog! Epic. Makes my life a bit easier being able to go through all the videos and re-live my own (mis)adventures. It's amazing how people just pop up when you need them most. I don't care where you go it takes me out of UK. ❤
Wow, words do not do justice; that was amazing! It made me fall in love with Africa! ❤This video confirms that this is next - on my bucket list of places to see. Thank you for sharing this with us! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families!
Thanks for sharing Ed . Excellent footage . Those are truly magnificent places .
Looks like you have find yourself a very highly qualified Chef in Johnno .Thanks for the good work ,keeping us entertained .
Love Botswana, and your videos for bringing it to life and bringing back so many memories. However I *believe that your comments on safety at Ihaha are a little out of date. [update from Ed below on this]
Thanks John! Some peoples vehicles were broken into 2 days after we left at the Hatab sites and a mate of mines chairs, groundsheet and braai grids were taken a few weeks ago
Ok thanks Ed, my bad.
epic trip, to my favorite destination "the Linyanti" and onwards to the Chobe, I am watching it for the third time now with a big smile on my face, thank you Ed and Johnno, Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year with lots of new and not so new destinations and amazing adventures
Ed your cinematography is amazing
Thank you Ed and Johnno, what a way to spend a Saturday afternoon with you both on your adventure. Loved every minute of it and look forward to the next one. Take care of yourselves and watch out for those big cats!!! . The longer video was great once again thanks from Western Australia.
I really enjoyed the 3 part episode of Botswana Overlanding. You had a blast, the more I watch the channel the more I want to travel myself. Thanks for all the travelling tips. On to the next one
Worth watching every minute - sunset photography was spectacular, the night sounds of the lions, chilling and powerful. Your meals made me hungry. Great spirit to the entire video. Just fantastic Ed
What a fantastic, awesome trip. I have loved every moment of it. Thank you for sharing this journey because it is out of my reach but I can live the dream, through your channel. 💚💚💚
Ed, thank you for another year of wonderful trips, really appreciate what must be fun but is a ton of work to produce. Have a great Christmas and all the best for 2024 👍🏼🇿🇦
