A very unique way to separate the hub from the knuckle, I've never seen that before. If it's super rusty I'm not sure it would work quite as well but it's always great to have another option in your tool bag. Thanks so much for the demonstration.

I appreciate your words, and rust sure does limit possibilities! I was grateful for how easy this wheel bearing assembly came off.

I was a bit intimidated to do the wheel bearing due to past experiences, but this one went well! Thank you, Terry!

Haha thank you, man 😅 I was looking for footage of the rattle repair I wanted to share with you last year but am unsure I have enough footage to edit a video. Does your airdoc still rattle?

When you go to replace the hub and all the bolts you removed, put some anti-seize on those items and if you have to get back into that area again one day, everything will come apart much easier and it will save time.

Excellent tip! Thank you. Anti-seize would have been a great thing to include during reassembly.

man that top caliper bolt issa bitch to loosen up. got the hard line tube partially in the way and its hella tight. gonna try your crescent wrench extender bar technique there and see what sparks fly. if that dont work, not sure how im gonna get it off. and ya, got some good shots of PB oil on there too....

They sure do get stuck on there pretty good. An impact would probably come in handy. Did you end up getting it off there yet?

H3humpdog, how are these holding up? Is there any reason to get the timken hubs or are these just as good for normal on-road use?

Yo! They held up well, and I imagine there are quality differences between different manufacturers. I am unaware of any superior or inferior designs, but I tend to consider brand reputation and reviews when selecting products. I imagine any wheel hub on the market will last quite a while on-road!
