Ohhhhh! I NEVER understood the parable of the prodigal son like this before: as a contrast and comparision between the needy and neglected, but humble, repentant followers versus the seemingly faithful, but haughty and self-righteous, between the poor and the religious leaders. Wow. What a revelation! Thank you.
There's a lot more to understand from it though. The brother who stayed is also someone who does good but whose heart is not aligned with what he is doing, which is seen by his bitterness. God wants our hearts and will to also want goodness; just doing things because we were asked to but without actually wanting them isn't enough. They are both squandering their inheritance in different ways, but the brother who stayed hasn't realized it.

You guys are doing an amazing work. It's not about just "reading" the bible, it's about studying it deeply, explaining some words from Hebrew and Greek (that have lost some of it's value due to translation), and even explaining some complex hidden messages. Thank you!

Great videos! I disagree on some particular wording, though. Jesus did not make a new comparison that the Passover was like Himself, but that it ALWAYS pointed to Him. So many things foreshadow our Lord and this is definitely my favorite one. Thank you for your videos!

When i read it… each and every time i get a new and clearer understanding that I never knew about previously though I think I got it down… interesting.
My favorite Gospel is the Gospel of John, but my 2nd favorite is the Gospel of Luke. The reason is Luke went on a research mission, finding the various witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus, primarily the apostles, and took a lot of notes. Being a doctor research came natural to him, although historical research was a little different it gives us a remarkable view of Jesus, one the other 3 Gospels don't fully give. In face all four Gospels were written uniquely. Matthew was written to the Jews, Mark was written to the Gentiles. Luke portrayed Jesus as the Son of Man, but John portrayed Jesus as the Son of God. Each Gospel is useful if read in its context, and combined with the other Gospels can really bring things to life.
This bible project is truly helpful to understand more all the stories presenting it's objectives in a creative way that viewer can easily understand it. Praise God and may God's empowering wisdom be always with you as you continue your ministry to spread God's Word.
I love these video lessons and the insight they give. I don’t know if anyone’s commented on the inflection you use. On many sentences the end of the sentence disappears because of the contrast in volume. Especially affects me when I’m trying to listen as I drive somewhere. It occurs most when you narrate alone.
Always always see if your Chanel has a video on a book before I read it, lest there be confusion in what I’m reading really. These videos are excellent, remarkably and truly glorifying to God. Thank you
Pamela loves Jesus Christ it is because when people think of the Messiah back then, especially his followers they though he would take back his city from the romans, and be this awesome great king on his throne, but he died and did not ever become king. You can know that because Jesus didn’t actually made into paradise that day, it’s a incorrect translation of the original text because it hadn’t any commas.

I'm about to be 16, all I can say is keep learning and try different word versions of the Bible to help you read.
The NLT is a great bible version which is easier to understand. You can get it on the Bible app (you version)
Try the ESV or the NIV!
Also pray that God may grant you understanding as you read His word

Luke is one of my favorite books in the Bible. Jesus loves the sinners. Even when they hated him, he loved them.

In face all four Gospels were written uniquely. Matthew was written to the Jews, Mark was written to the Gentiles. Luke portrayed Jesus as the Son of Man, but John portrayed Jesus as the Son of God. Each Gospel is useful if read in its context, and combined with the other Gospels can really bring things to life.

I love these video lessons and the insight they give. I don’t know if anyone’s commented on the inflection you use. On many sentences the end of the sentence disappears because of the contrast in volume. Especially affects me when I’m trying to listen as I drive somewhere. It occurs most when you narrate alone.

One question, why do you refer to the new Jerusalem, as the upside down kingdom ??
Pamela loves Jesus Christ it is because when people think of the Messiah back then, especially his followers they though he would take back his city from the romans, and be this awesome great king on his throne, but he died and did not ever become king. This is the exact opposite of what everyone thought he was going to do. I hope this helps

You can know that because Jesus didn’t actually made into paradise that day, it’s a incorrect translation of the original text because it hadn’t any commas.
