Good advice to young kids who love skateboarding but can't afford to buy a fresh Deck every month or so would be this; try to save your money whatever allowence you might receive, sacrifice cool graphics prints 50-60$ for a plaine blank deck around 25-30$ you can have the same nice concave deck and pop for about half the price. There's no set amount of time a board should last because there's so many factors and things that can happen when you're skating. Some people destroy a board in a day, and some people have decks that last a year because they only skate smooth skateparks. But with that said, if you're skating street everyday for a few hours, 4 months is a long time for a deck to last in those conditions. As far as 'if you should get a new one or not', that's on you to determine if the board is hindering your skating or not. 👍 - Tim

with some basic wood glue and a really strong clamp, you can fix most chips pretty easily. the hardest part is getting something thin (like a putty knife or scraper) and working the glue between the layers, but its very possible. ive started doing it all the time and it works great. save the trees and your wallet!
If the pop and performance isn't a big deal to you, then you could have a board easily last over a year. The deck on my cruiser set up has been on there for over a year and is still in great shape because I only use it for riding and the occasional ollie or kickflip. Just keep an eye out for razor tail when the board gets older, it can bite ya good if you let it get really bad. Cheers! - Tim

Buy a lot of super glue. If you get a small chip you can just glue it back on and if your razortail gets soggy you can put glue on it to make it hard again. Also, the superglue works extremely well for repairing your shoes.
It's been a long time, but I don't really remember having a long arduous learning process for tre flips. I feel like it only took a couple days of trying. I remember my first tre flip was VERY ugly and only flipped about 270 degrees 😄. I also remember having a hard time rotating the board the full 360, but that was mostly because I was short and didn't have the leg strength to get the board around. One of the most important things is having a commitment mindset. When you learn how to flip the board and keep it under your torso at the same time, you need to have confidence and faith that you're going to flip it correctly before you can commit. Expect the board to flip and be ready to land on it when it does. If you commit to most tries, you may end up falling a bit more, but you'll also end up landing a lot more tricks. Good luck on your tre flip quest! 🙌 - Tim
@@fishndive7227 It does for flip tricks once you get beyond a certain size. Once you start to getting into the bigger sizes above 56mm, they start getting heavier (especially cruiser wheels) and they also make the pop steeper and steeper. If you have 60mm wheels, your board will be taller and have a steeper angle of pop, which can make flip tricks more difficult. Obviously flip tricks are still fully doable with bigger wheels, but it takes more effort and and a higher jump to pop the board and give it enough time to flip. Bigger wheels are better for transition skating though because they're faster and keep your speed better. Usually skaters who like technical types of skating stick to the 50-54mm range and transition skaters use wheels in the 54-60mm range. Wheels above 60mm start the make the pop ultra steep to where flip tricks get really hard. But long story short, it all comes down to personal preference and what you're used to. ✌ - Tim

when I was a teenager I had no money other then lunch money , I made my decks last weather i liked it or not , I remember having some pretty beat up decks until my bday or xmas
Could you elaborate a little more? Having loose hardware (bolts that hold the trucks to the board) shouldn't give you extra wheelbite. Is the Kingpin nut stripped and cannot tighten?
Hey, I've had this skateboard for about 6 years and I never really skated it much BUT i've gotten more into skating and realize that the front pops harder than the back, and some tricks are unlearnable because of the deck. It looks alright and rides alright but should I invest money towards a new deck or am I just overreacting? The only thing wrong is a few chips and mad razor tail.

🙌 - Tim
@@tacticsboardshop Hi! Thanks, and one more question - does bigger wheels actually make it so hard to do tricks? Cheers!
✌ - Tim

When my dad was seven my grandpa used to get them 1 million skateboard stuff and the most expensive things and then he stopped skating so he didn’t use his stuff for five years and his stuff still work for about a year without any changes
Just wanted to say that unless u are a complete beginner dont buy a mini logo or blank deck because you can find name brand decks for cheap on places like Facebook marketplace and offer up
Could anyone tell me who the skater is 3:29 into the video?
That's Dalton Dern! 🔥

There’s no better feeling then a crispy new board to skate on wish I was rich I usually wait until I get down to the 4th or 5 th ply and then it’s off to the skate shop
when I was a teenager I had no money other then lunch money , I made my decks last weather i liked it or not , I remember having some pretty beat up decks until my bday or xmas
Please help me where to get a good skateboard that is good quality and ships to EU because there is no skate shop in my city

Mine got it’s hardware screws loose rendering it with a non fixable wheel bite since the screws can’t be tightened : (
Could you elaborate a little more? Having loose hardware (bolts that hold the trucks to the board) shouldn't give you extra wheelbite. Is the Kingpin nut stripped and cannot tighten?
if you want more pop in your skateboard then wax the tail to reduce wheal bite wax the part under the wheals of the deck
Im getting wheel bite how can i dix it i just launch of my board when turn or try land my ollie
(Btw i started recently)
Here's a video we did about wheelbite. Hopefully it'll help you with your wheelbite problems. Cheers! - Tim

Try waxing the wheel well area
Hey, I've had this skateboard for about 6 years and I never really skated it much BUT i've gotten more into skating and realize that the front pops harder than the back, and some tricks are unlearnable because of the deck. It looks alright and rides alright but should I invest money towards a new deck or am I just overreacting? The only thing wrong is a few chips and mad razor tail.
When replace longboard dancing deck ? I can use it for several years?
I have landyachtz stratus
If you're not scraping the board on the ground a bunch and if it retains it's strength, then I'm sure it would last for years.
New boards feel so good omg
My deck has soggy pop on the tail and it’s chipped on the nose😔 and it’s somewhat cracked in the middle
