The answer is simple. Gamma splits your damage even further than the plasma model already does. Now you’re doing 3 even smaller groups of damage simultaneously with each (fire, energy, ballistic) going up against their resistance types. Because of how resistance works in Fallout 4/76 this is never a good thing. Calibrated with pinpointers (which is a multiplicative 4th star currently) doubles down on further damage in energy and ballistic, overwhelming the snakes resistances with “native pen” through higher damage.
Pin-pointers is not effective against the guardian because its shield is also considered torso, the same thing happens with this mod when attacking the fusion core of certain robots. The most effective thing for the guardian would be to use Polished and in other phases a GP with Pin-pointers mod.
@@mauro6261 you are absolutely right! I didn’t know this so I decided to check it out and yeah there’s a pretty big difference! Thank you so much for sharing! I Always thought the shield was considered a limb 🤔

@@P0wd3r3dT0astMan Right now I would go calibrated personally since I stack a LOT of crit stuff. But I’ve been hearing prime may be better but I’m in the process of testing and comparing.
Yes the only reason I use it is because I retake my mutations which suppresses the negative effects for an hour. This allows me to not have reduced damage for energy weapons and only have the positive effect for energy resists. I definitely do NOT recommend doing this unless you are ROLLING in flux
so powered will slow down your AP after its use. So sprinting or getting out of VATs powered will only affect that. If that’s something that you don’t like mixing is perfectly okay. You can also opt into using company tea for the AP regen outside of VATs and/or regen when you stop sprinting.
@@MadMax_3637 so the legendary perk card will either give you additional passives like carry weight if you have 15 perk points invested directly into strength. Since you can only have 15 points max for each special stat.
